I stumbled upon this little recipe. I’m not sure if it’ll work for everyone, but... give it a shot.

Watermelon Mask

It hydrates dry skin, cools things down, and soothes redness after too much time in the sun. It can also help fade spots and pigmentation.

Finely chop some thick slices of watermelon and apply them directly to a clean face. Rinse off after 15 minutes, then follow up with a nourishing moisturizer.

Someone actually asked this exact same thing a few months back—and I think someone gave an answer, though I can't quite recall if they were talking about breakouts, dark spots, or general hyperpigmentation... whether salicylic acid actually helps with those specific issues is still a bit fuzzy in my mind, but honestly, just go back and dig through the old threads.

Advil is some kind of cream meant for lightening dark spots. To be honest, I’ve recently become quite obsessed with trying to get rid of my sunspots because they seem to get more noticeable every single year; they just multiply once summer hits. I still remember back when I was a kid, having just those cute little freckles across my nose, but now I’ve got them all over my face—nothing too glaring, but it's frustrating—and frankly, it's embarrassing because I have much more prominent ones on my shoulders and even on my arms, where I didn't have any at all just a few years ago. It feels quite demoralizing to realize I didn't have these issues before, yet now I'm dealing with an excess of them. I did a bit of digging online and stumbled upon this specific cream. Could someone please check the local pharmacies to see if they carry it and how much it goes for? They definitely don't have it in stock here at my local CVS, so if someone could look it up and let me know the price, I would truly appreciate it. Please.

Is it even possible to find this stuff here in the States???
Seriously, can someone please check the pharmacies in major cities like Chicago or Los Angeles? Please, Amy Martinez5, if you could just take a look for me...

Look, I mean, I could definitely weigh in, but I’m not quite sure who exactly you mean by "us" or who you consider to be "you"...
The thing is, I’m actually not even in the States right now if that's what you were implying, I'm currently in a neighboring country, so my perspective might not be all that helpful to you...

I just had to share—I saw the cutest girl today! She had these insane green eyes (could’ve been contacts, who knows?), tons of freckles all over her nose and cheeks, and this wild, short red-orange haircut... she totally leaned into the whole freckled look and honestly? It was such a vibe.
Amy Martinez5, was that you??🙂

Look, Bradley Davis33, I know I’ve got some freckles, but I am definitely not some walking disaster zone...🙂
And listen, man, if I really wanted to track you down, I could find you even without you giving me your address😂

Look, there is absolutely no reason to be afraid of asking questions. I still remember my high school biology teacher used to tell us that it’s much better to speak up and get informed now than to spend the rest of your life suffering because you were too timid to seek out the facts...
There should be zero shame in this; believe me, plenty of people deal with skin spots and blemishes. I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but I will just leave you with this thought:
It's a matter of being brave versus being a coward...
Seriously, thanks—I'm hoping to clear this up before summer hits.
Thank you.

I just can't find anything that actually works... I've been scouring the aisles at CVS and Walgreens, but honestly, nothing seems right. I did spot something on the shelf, but I'm really hesitant to put it on my face since my skin is just so incredibly sensitive...
I actually heard about this old-school DIY remedy—you just mix a tablespoon of lemon juice with a tablespoon of olive oil and a tiny bit of parsley, then apply it with a cotton ball before washing everything off thoroughly. I gave it a shot, but apparently, you have to leave it on for quite a while to see any results, so I'm just not sure if it's worth the risk...

Honestly, my late grandmother used to swear by this old-school trick where she’d just slather them in Nivea cream, and they’d vanish like magic—so I’m definitely giving this a shot... If it actually works, it’ll be a total win, but if not, well, there goes a chunk of change and a whole lot of Nivea down the drain for nothing.

Hi there...

My wife has been struggling with some sunspots on her face lately. Does anyone know if there's an effective way to clear those up?...

Hey there!

I’ve been dealing with these annoying sunspots all over my face, and obviously, they get ten times worse once summer hits. I finally reached my breaking point and decided it's time to actually do something about them.
Has anyone here gone through this? Like, have you seen a dermatologist or a high-end esthetician? What kind of treatments actually work, and what am I looking at in terms of pricing?

There’s actually a massive thread about this over on the beauty forums!
I remember some woman posting her experience getting those spots removed—if I recall correctly, she mentioned a few specific dermatologists and skin specialists too.
Let's do a little digging while we wait for someone here to chime in with more info!

Perhaps it would be more accurate to describe them as "spots"🙄 located on my upper lip near the mustache area. They seem to emerge every summer without fail. Does anyone have advice on how to prevent these or perhaps a way to treat them effectively?🤷

Have you tried hitting the high SPF stuff yet? I deal with the exact same thing—those annoying dark spots and blotches that flare up after a summer in the sun and then just mysteriously vanish once the weather cools down... honestly, for me, the heavy sunscreen usually does the trick.

I have... but they simply resurfaced, and it is incredibly frustrating. I have been doing some research online and came across an Aquaphor whitening cream... I intend to try it.
