Not at all!
Good grief...
That’s exactly why I’m trying to get Blondie to tell me something about those nasal polyps, just so I can give her a little bit of a scare! 😁

I can't speak for everyone, but I dealt with this exact issue in my vocal cords. It’s basically these growths—kind of like little warts—that can build up so much you struggle to breathe through your nose at all.
In my case, it actually manifested as this deep, gravelly, "sexy" voice that women absolutely loved. I was pretty damn proud of it, too, right up until the day I coughed up a little piece of hell along with some blood.
I ended up stuck in a hospital bed for three miserable days, freezing my ass off, until they finally did a bronchoscopy and figured out what the hell was going on.
The actual procedure was laser-based with no cutting involved, and I was back on my feet within a day (honestly, I would have been up sooner, but the staff wouldn't let me).
I suspect nasal polyps are more or less the same kind of headache.
As for snoring... just give them a good kick every single time they start up, and keep doing it until they finally pass out. They won't bother you after that.

Actually, it isn't me 😁 but my better half. Lately, it’s become an every-night occurrence. I've noticed the snoring mostly happens when she's absolutely exhausted and overwhelmed by work—which, frankly, has been the case for months. Scaling back the workload? That isn't on the table right now.
For what it's worth, there are no sinus issues or deviated septums involved. She does smoke, though.
I feel like I read somewhere about those nasal strips, and I might have even caught a segment on TV featuring some top-tier American doctor who specializes in this.
My apologies if this topic has already been covered in the Health section. I would appreciate any insight or information that might help. Thanks!
Your chronically sleep-deprived, Gary Jones10. 😢

So, ever since I checked into the hospital, my roommate has been an absolute nightmare because she won't stop snoring, screaming, and moaning in her sleep... it was honestly brutal.
Once things got totally unbearable, she grabbed some nasal strips, which actually worked for a bit because the snoring finally stopped, but then the strips would just peel off in the middle of the night and the whole noisy mess would start all over again.
Then she tried layering some heavy-duty duct tape right over the strips just to make sure they wouldn't budge during the night.
😁
I mean, you could also just use one of those nasal sprays that you mist up your nose.

Forget the peeling issue; we'll figure that out. My real question is: where on earth can you even buy these? Does anyone have a lead?
Another sleepless night... 😢

Well—how should I put this? He’s put on about 18 pounds over the last year. At 6'0", he's sitting at 205 pounds now. Do you really think that matters to you?😕

Just another sleepless night over here... 😢
You should be able to grab some at any local CVS.

Being overweight doesn't necessarily have anything to do with snoring.
I know plenty of thin people who snore just as loud.
He used to drink this stuff every single night.
Our current solution—since we aren't married yet, though we definitely plan to...
Once we finally tie the knot (there is absolutely no "if" about it)😁 he’s going to get that procedure done. It only takes ten minutes and it's totally safe. And believe me, I am anything but safe when I'm being deprived of sleep.
There really isn't any other way. Nothing calms a snorer down quite like a hand to the head or a divorce.
And yeah.
Doesn't work.😢
I use earplugs too.😁

My sister just had surgery and she’s still drinking like there's no tomorrow, especially when she catches a cold. Honestly, looks like the best cure is just a pillow to the face and an elbow to the ribs.

So, what? I just walk into a CVS and ask for snoring tablets? Is it really that simple? 😲

So, what I'm hearing is I should just buy an apartment with an extra bedroom where I can either hide out every single night, or he can just be exiled there...

I mean, yeah.
You should probably just find some anti-snoring patches or something.
Just go grab some and finally get a decent night's sleep.
There's even those nasal sprays you can use too.

Not you. Him.
He’s the one who should be paying since he’s the snorer...😁

He owes me for the snoring.😁
Oh, please... He's my everything. 😍 And honestly, he feels terrible because he knows his snoring keeps me up half the night. But what can you do? I'll just buy him some nasal strips. Consider it an early Valentine's Day gift. 😁

I honestly don't think those nasal strips would do a lick of good for my guy here.
See, those things are meant for your nose, but he doesn't have any breathing issues there. It’s more like he just keeps his mouth hanging open, almost like he’s constantly hungry...
I was actually reading up on it, and apparently, the issue is tied to the soft palate. They say surgery involves tying off certain little structures inside the mouth to stop the swelling...
