I’ve been dealing with this exact same issue since I was fifteen years old. Just like you, those beads of sweat constantly streaming down my palms are a daily occurrence, and over the last three or four years, my feet have started doing it too. It gets intense enough that my socks end up completely soaked through. I’ve gone through every specialist imaginable; they ran blood tests, checked my thyroid, everything... nothing. They even suggested surgery to remove the glands in my hands or monthly injections to block their activity, which sounds incredibly painful and is quite expensive. In the end, I gave up on all of it and just made my peace with it. I accepted it as something beyond my control. All my friends are aware of it so we can avoid any awkward moments. And honestly, girls don't usually care for it... none of my boyfriends ever saw it as an actual problem. I explained it to them right at the start when necessary, wiped my hands on a napkin, and that was that.🙂 Just learn how to live with it. You don't have any other choice; you simply cannot change it. Once you accept it, others will accept it too. It won't feel nearly as overwhelming.

I honestly can't believe I'm not the only one dealing with this! For the longest time, I actually thought I was the only person on the entire planet experiencing this bizarre phenomenon... it's such a strange thing to go through alone. On top of everything else, my palms just sweat uncontrollably, too. It doesn't even matter what kind of mood I'm in—whether I'm feeling totally calm, super anxious, incredibly happy, or just plain sad—it just keeps happening constantly. I did try using some kind of topical solution for a while to manage it, but the relief only lasts about two minutes before it all starts right back up again. It feels like there's just no help out there for us, doesn't it? If anyone happens to know a real solution to this problem, could you please, please post it here?😉

..anyone else dealt with this crap? How do you fight it?..

You posted about this a long time ago—did you ever find anything that actually works? Because I'm struggling with the exact same thing.
I'm 23 years old and this has been following me forever. It seems to be way worse in the summer when it's hot, and if I'm already feeling nervous on top of that, it completely wipes me out.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing—it’s constant. My palms and the soles of my feet just go haywire. It happens whenever I’m feeling anxious, but even when it’s just hot out. It gets to the point where my hands are actually dripping—it's honestly embarrassing. I was wearing flip-flops the other day and I practically slid right out of them! Such a mess. I already went to my doctor and had my thyroid checked, and everything came back totally normal.
I desperately need some kind of relief to dial this down.
Any advice? 😉

Hey everyone, you've got this whole thread and discussion going on here, plus hundreds of tips covering the expert side of things: hyperhidrosis. I guess there really are plenty of solutions out there for this specific issue, like creams and stuff like that... hopefully, what I shared helps a bit!🙂

Jerry Jackson5, I sent you a private message earlier—but look, try OMEGA 3; take it and you might just forget this ever happened. My son is actually on it right now—he takes two capsules for the first 15 days, then drops down to one a day. It even helped with his skin peeling—which was quite an issue—but everything is fine now. Good luck.🙂

You’ll start seeing the results after about 15 days, so don't give up too soon. Omega tends to have a calming effect on things, which usually puts an end to the sweating altogether. 👍

Here I am again.😁

My palms get incredibly sweaty, especially during the summer when I’m stuck at my computer or driving... sometimes it actually drips right in the middle of a heatwave. It's a disaster. 😢...not to mention how much I have to avoid shaking hands or anything like that. I get that it's nerve-based and probably genetic, but I'm hoping there's some way to get this under control. Red Cross... does anyone else deal with this? Has anyone actually found a solution?

Man, I can't believe there are actually this many of us... I honestly thought I was the only one dealing with this. Most people I've talked to just brush it off like it's nothing, but seeing you all here makes me realize I'm not alone. This started way back in elementary school—ever since I can remember, my palms and feet have been constantly sweating.
I’ve only ever met one other person with the exact same issue, a girl from Denmark, and she said even over there, she couldn't find any real remedy that worked.
I recently saw a doctor who mentioned there might be a fix. Apparently, it involves some sweaty "sac-like" structures under the armpits that can actually be removed. I don't know everything about it yet, but I’ve decided to go for it... Just waiting a month or two for the warmer weather when the sweating gets worse. I have no idea where this leads, but I'm actually excited at the thought that there might be a cure. Honestly, I'd pretty much given up hope...
I'll let you guys know if it works 😉 All the best...

I truly feel for all of you because I have been living through this exact same reality since I was a little kid, back when other children wouldn't even want to hold my hand because they claimed it was always either "wet" or "slippery," which led me through school years filled with the embarrassment of sweaty palms while typing, through the awkwardness of my teens, and all the way to today at age 28, where despite being successful in my career, I still haven't conquered this issue and a pack of wet wipes remains my most loyal companion. 😢

Naturally, I have investigated every possible cause, checking my thyroid levels multiple times, and everything always comes back within the normal range. I recently heard that a small but certainly not insignificant percentage of the population suffers from this condition—though I don't have the exact statistics on hand so I won't quote specific numbers—and that there are several different treatments available, such as the surgical removal of sweat glands, which sounds extreme to me, or perhaps some kind of electrical stimulation therapy if I remember correctly. I would love to learn more about these options if anyone here has any insight. From the outside, this might seem like a trivial concern, but those of us who actually live with it know better. In any case, if anyone has managed to find even a bit of relief from the sweating, I would be incredibly grateful for any advice you could offer. Thanks in advance.

Man, it honestly blows my mind how many people deal with this exact same thing... I'm 17, and ever since I can remember, my hands and feet have been constantly sweating—and let me tell you, it’s becoming a massive headache. I know for a fact it isn't just "all in my head" either, because even if I'm just chilling in my room thinking about my hands, they start acting up. Or at school, the second I pick up a pen to write, sweat starts dripping onto the paper—not every single time, but it happens way too often! And like some of you mentioned, it’s just so awkward when I have to shake hands with someone and my palms are totally soaked... or even just holding hands with a girl!!! It’s seriously such a frustrating thing to deal with... 😢

I couldn't seem to find this specific thread... so if there's already one covering this, please feel free to move this 😁 I was wondering if anyone might have an idea about what could be causing sweaty palms? It’s not like I’m feeling particularly anxious or anything, but my hands have been sweating for three days straight now, even when it isn't hot in here. 😕 It’s not like they're soaking wet or anything... just sort of damp... then suddenly they'll be dry... and then they're damp again. 🤷

Sweaty palms (at least in my case) are a direct byproduct of stress. It’s not necessarily that you’re feeling outright panicky, but those damp hands are a clear sign that something is a bit off mentally. Now, I’m not claiming to be some medical expert here—this isn't a scientific dissertation—it's just what I've personally experienced when dealing with nerves and high-pressure situations. Of course, I realize everyone is different, so the cause might be something else entirely for someone else.

So my neighbor is dealing with all this stuff and her doctor actually suggested she get her thyroid checked out
Her test results aren't exactly great either, but now she's just sitting there wondering—is this really a thyroid issue, or is it just some weird coincidence? She honestly has no clue what's going on

So, I’ve also dealt with that whole sweaty palms situation—it’s a real nuisance—and I managed to find a partial fix by just using some standard baby powder. It actually works reasonably well, at least until you go and wash your hands with water again... once they're dry, there's zero sweating for a while. Anyway, best of luck to you all.

I get these sweaty palms, and honestly, it’s most awkward when I have to go in for a handshake with someone else.🙂 It’s such a pain.

I’ve never dealt with anything quite like this before. It’s been maybe two or three weeks now since I first noticed my hands starting to sweat. And I mean, really sweating.
I honestly can't wrap my head around why. What’s strange is that it only seems to kick in when I have a pen or a mouse in my hand—specifically while I'm at the office. Once I'm back home, it completely vanishes.
