Hey, is there anyone here actually using that "Metabolism" stuff? I was wondering if anyone knows which company makes it?
Maybe it’s from that "Pfizer" plant over in Lower Pusca?
Well, the pharmaceutical company I work for actually produces a version of "Metabolism," and we pack it into these little amber glass bottles, but without any labels or fancy packaging—we just toss them straight into cardboard boxes. I’m assuming the final packaging happens right here in the States.
I’m really curious, is that the one you guys are talking about?
We also manufacture "Dermolan" and "Ribasan," so if you know what those are used for, let me know!

You’re producing something, but you have no idea what it actually is. That’s

😁 hey there, honey:
Dermolan capsules—you know, those things for your skin
Ribasan—those fish oil capsules
I'm really just trying to figure out the exact purpose and the actual "function" of them, and if they're even worth picking up since we can't find a single decent description anywhere about "what they do"!
that😁

Sorry, I think you missed something here:

You didn't actually mention what they're used for or their specific function.

...if I end up repeating something someone else already said here😉 Metabolism products from Pfizer are just more of the same junk they put out. Look, I have a pharmacist in my family, so I've been surrounded by this industry my entire life. Pfizer is basically famous for making stuff that works solely on the placebo effect. They have a massive lineup, and sure, some people claim to be happy with the results, but it’s all short-lived nonsense that doesn't actually "cure" anything.
Honestly, it blows my mind how people in the 21st century still fall for this crap. We have information at our fingertips constantly, yet people still believe the fairy tale that one little pill once a day is going to perform a miracle!! It makes zero sense!! Especially when we're talking about weight loss!! There is a basic rule of thumb: however long it took you to pack those pounds on, that's roughly how long it takes to get rid of them. Are we really so naive that we think we can sit down to a massive steak dinner with buttery mashed potatoes and then just wash away all that fat with a single tablet to wake up looking shredded the next morning?😁 If only it were that easy....🙂
It’s the exact same story with those much-hyped cellulite creams. Anyone who actually understands what cellulite is and how it forms knows perfectly well that a topical cream isn't going to make it disappear.😉

lonemarlin40 said:That’s exactly my point—Metabolism is NOT a laxative. I specifically mentioned that it helped me get my digestion back on track, which is just one symptom of a broken metabolism. I said that because I have zero interest in taking unhealthy laxatives.
To be more precise about Metabolism capsules:
Metabolism refers to the entire metabolic process—the sum of all biochemical reactions happening in the human body that work to build, rebuild, and break down cells while keeping them functioning properly.
For this system to kick into gear and run smoothly, unsaturated fatty acids are absolutely vital, especially gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
GLA is highly biologically active. It's derived from linoleic acid, which, when you're following a healthy diet rich in plant oils, enters the body strictly through your food. Through further biochemical conversion of gamma-linolenic acid, the end product is prostaglandin E1—a hormone-like substance that acts as a key metabolic activator, playing a crucial role in regulating essential cellular functions.
Prostaglandin E1 has a very specific job in activating fat metabolism. It helps release fat from storage cells so they can be converted into usable energy. This biochemical mechanism is what allows the body to shed fat deposits more easily.
Metabolism® capsules provide a completely natural way to replenish GLA in the body, ensuring enough prostaglandin E1 is synthesized to support optimal metabolism and speed up the breakdown of stored fat.

Do you honestly believe a single capsule can trigger that entire massive biological chain reaction? And you think it’s doing it in a natural way? Do you seriously think the amount of fat, sugar, and calories you just inhaled from a greasy pork knuckle followed by a massive slice of cake😁 can just be wiped out by one little pill? Is there a pill for eternal life or staying forever young, too? Maybe you should look for that.
The CEO of whatever company makes these pills must be laughing their head off right now, probably sipping cocktails on the French Riviera and enjoying the fruits of their absolute scam.😁

darkbison81 said:Yeah, I’m right there with you. Why on earth would anyone want to gamble with their hormones just to spend the rest of their lives dealing with the fallout, all because they wanted to fix some cellulite? If I recall correctly, that supplement is called Cellasen... though it goes by different names depending on where you buy it. My take is that it’s packed with iodine, among other things, which basically forces your thyroid into overdrive. That spikes your metabolic processes and raises your body temperature—it's essentially forcing your metabolism to kick into high gear. And let me tell you, that isn't some harmless little trick. Anyone with natural thyroid issues already has enough to deal with; they shouldn't be messing with themselves if they don't want to be on medication for the rest of their lives.

It feels to me like Cellasen just ramps everything up in your system, yet that cellulite stays right where it is... just sitting there... indefinitely.😁😁😁

I've read through all the threads regarding Metabolism, and I can say they've helped me in a few specific ways. They genuinely kickstart regular bowel movements and help burn off accumulated fat cells over the long haul. I’m no chemist, but my conclusion is that they work during the digestion process by flushing fats out of the system, which prevents fat storage 😁. Consequently, the body starts pulling energy from existing fat stores—it's logical, at least to me. Just as fat doesn't accumulate in critical areas overnight, and it's often a multi-year accumulation process, you can't expect to torch that mass in a few days either. It takes time. 😉
Someone mentioned they might mess with your hormones 😕. In my case, they actually balanced them out. Those unbearable PMS cramps, bloating, and pains are gone. Someone else brought up the placebo effect—well, this worked for me, plain and simple. Maybe they didn't suit everyone, but they've been great for me and I'd recommend them to anyone. 👍
By the way, a friend of mine started taking them a year after giving birth (since she was breastfeeding), and she had put on some extra weight. So far, they've regulated her digestion after just a couple of days of use.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not claiming these are magic pills that make weight vanish into thin air. If anyone actually believes a product like that exists, there's no point in trying to talk sense into them. My routine is one tablet after lunch and/or dinner every day, combined with at least three 45-minute workouts a week.

Good luck. 😁

Most weight loss products hitting the shelves today really just rely on a heavy laxative or diuretic effect to get the job done. It’s actually quite simple math; if you’re holding onto extra fluid and then force your body to flush it out, the scale shows a much lower number... even if nothing else has changed. A huge portion of these supplements are plant-based, relying on things like oak bark, senna, or plantain to achieve that result.
Some of them are designed specifically to kickstart intestinal peristalsis, while others work by causing water retention in the gut to encourage excretion—all while simultaneously dulling your appetite by making you feel unnaturally full. Personally, I tend to lean toward the ones that focus on that fluid retention aspect, simply because they don't carry the risk of creating a dependency or leaving you with "lazy bowels."

When it comes to synthetic options available here in the States, there are two main types: Reductil, which acts as an anorectic by targeting the hunger centers in the brain, and Xenical, which works by interfering with lipase enzymes to prevent fat absorption in the intestines.

But hey, whatever works for you...

I've been glancing at this thread periodically, and since I have some experience with Metabolism, I figured I’d weigh in:

I took Dietpharm's Metabolism for a few months, but I didn't see any definitive, game-changing results. Honestly, I'm still undecided on what to make of it. 😁

About a year and a few months ago, I switched things up and started taking Metabolic active from Natural wealth along with their apple cider vinegar. My routine is one Metabolism tablet and two doses of the vinegar daily, right after lunch. No side effects so far—it hasn't turned me into a twig—but ever since I started using celery seed, my appetite has dropped. Between that and hitting the stationary bike three times a week (about 16 miles per session), I've been losing weight. 😁

Draw your own conclusions. 😁
Regardless, I'm sticking with Metabolic active. 🙂

Someone mentioned the papaya enzymes from Natural wealth. I've heard good things about those, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

...and did it ever cross your mind that you could actually drop pounds without relying on that damn Metabolism supplement and apple cider vinegar?

Look, tičica, go back and actually read my post again. Pay some attention to that part where I said "judge for yourselves." 😉

If you didn't catch my drift the first time, let me lay it out plainly: of course it crossed my mind, and of course I don't believe those pills are the reason I'm losing weight. 👋

Honestly, all this talk about those magic little pills sounds way too good to be true. It feels like a total scam if you ask me. If I had to pick anything, I’d probably just stick to apple cider vinegar since that actually feels like something natural.

By the way, has anyone else seen those sketchy newspaper ads lately? You know the ones—where some woman claims she dropped 40 or 50 pounds in just a few weeks using some "miracle syrup" made of herbs? They even promise you can get your money back if you don't hit those crazy numbers 😁 (they're claiming people lose like 10 pounds a week!).
Has anyone here actually fallen for that or tried it?

Seriously, has anyone else noticed how some people just randomly dig up a thread from a year ago...
And of course, this one happens to be about supplements or pills again 😕 😁
