Man, I remember watching this flick when I was just a kid and thinking it was absolute gold.🙂
I can’t quite pin down the title right now, but I’m pretty sure it’s "Bugsy Malone".
The whole thing is actually kind of wild—it’s got this weirdly cool vibe where they cast kids to play all these hardened gangsters.😎
And get this, one of Jodie Foster’s earliest roles was actually in that movie.
I really feel like rewatching it just to see if it still hits the same way.😉

Oh, it definitely exists. I remember it vividly because back in the day, I was pretty much obsessed with those old-school gangster flicks starring James Cagney. This one hits that exact same vibe—the costumes, the makeup (those ridiculous 1930s-style mustaches 😁), the soundtrack, and even using catchy tunes as if they were ammunition 🙂

Nah, it wasn't Rooney. It was actually a young Michael Jackson playing the piano.😁

I'm trying to track down a movie from the early nineties. It features kids as the main stars, though there are some adults in it too. It’s a fantastic film. The kids are about five or six years old and they run these little car races. It covers everything from first crushes to those classic childhood disappointments. I can't for the life of me remember the title. 😁
Also, I remember this one series called "Mata Hari" where the cast was entirely monkeys. It was absolute gold.

I seem to recall some war movie where a bunch of kids huddle up in a basement and try to act all tough like they're mobsters. Is that what you're talking about? 😳

Around Christmas, I caught a documentary on TV about Peanuts. It’s less about the action and more about the philosophy, but honestly, I don't think I'll ever experience anything quite like it again. It really hits differently when you're an adult.🙂
