Man, how did I totally blank on the good old Terminator.
Especially the second one.
Back when it first hit theaters, those special effects were unlike anything anyone had ever seen before, especially that liquid metal scene where he reforms himself.

Listen, since Terminator 3 is slated for release this year (hooray), 👋 there’s a decent chance they might bundle those first two onto DVD as well—at least, that’s my educated guess and what I'm rooting for.

So, basically, these are those movies that I feel like any serious film library absolutely needs to have on the shelves, even though they don't really align with my own specific tastes or what I usually go for

I should probably mention that they're all American films, unless you count stuff from overseas, but I guess that's just how I was raised and what I grew up watching

It’s honestly baffling to me that nobody has even brought up "The Green Mile" yet.

I want to thank everyone who signed up because I’m going to use this list to pick out the movies I haven't seen, which will help me finally filter through all the absolute garbage those local video rental shops try to push on us.

Because, let’s be real, there are certain films that you simply have to see at least once in your life.
