Miško and Kustić are basically running the whole show here. ☕
And honestly, from what I’ve heard, Miško is finally starting to grow up. Last time he showed up to Pag, he was decked out in all this Rijeka gear and merch, and they practically had to escort him out the back door just to get him to leave. 🤣

Bjelica just sent over a realistic, objective offer to Dinamo to offload Petković while he still has some leverage—but honestly, they’ll probably just reject him on the spot via express mail. 😬

The basketball fans are celebrating the loss... feels like I've seen this exact scene before 🙏 🤣

Are you talking about this, or what?

Yeah, it’s easily comparable to that junior tournament nobody even knew existed two months ago...🤣
You and those hardcore fans have the exact same mentality. It’s nothing new...👍

Demons Unleashed:
Nafter Saturday night’s whistle blew on the match between FC Rijeka and FC Istria 1961, things finally clicked. A lot of people who were squinting through the fog finally saw things for what they actually are.
If you look at it one way, it’s obvious that FC Istria 1961 is completely unprotected. We're just left to the mercy of refereeing scams and the blatant rigging of the top tier of the league standings—a place where our club definitely doesn't belong. Then, if you look through the other eye, you see that the one guy sitting on the regional board within the US Soccer Federation, who should be out there defending the interests of clubs from this exact county, is basically having a total meltdown after Ampem scores that equalizer in the 97th minute.
The "experts" called the officiating a disaster. That clown Pajač will probably do some theatrical weeping, while Mišković will just give him a pat on the back for a job "well done."
So, what’s left for Istria? File an official protest through the federation, whose president also happens to be the sporting director for the very club we’re supposed to be protesting against.
It’s pure absurdity. It feels like only the fingertips are poking out above the swamp that is this league. In this case, "Mr." D.R.S., for everything you used to do for our club—THANKS. For ever wanting to see you near our club again—NO, THANKS! We don't need a "friend" like you; we're better off with enemies. Maybe there aren't legal barriers preventing someone from holding both these roles at once, but in actual human society, there’s something called MORAL. There's a moral barrier to holding those two positions simultaneously. But clearly, thick-skinned guys like you don't know the word "MORAL," or maybe you skipped class the day they taught it in school.
It’s considered "moral" to lie and deny the truth to your fellow citizens and the media regarding that move to Rijeka, right? As long as you collect enough signatures for the regional board, even though everyone knows the whole deal was baked and settled back in Qatar.
Istria is strong. Our path might be rough, but it’s the right one, and it’s honorable.
As for you, I hope you handle your job at FC Rijeka half as "well" as you handled maintaining Drosina's turf—which, by the way, was ranked as one of the worst pitches in the entire league.

I don't know how the current juniors are doing, but I mean, obviously comparing the EuroLeague or the World Cup to some random youth tournament isn't exactly apples-to-apples, just like you said.
Something like this? Getting knocked out early, the empty airport greeting...

So, do Americans basically have the same mentality as those hardcore Yankees fans or what?

One is the national team, the other is club ball, no matter how hard you try to spin it...😁
It’s obvious you share the same fan values, so I figured I should make sure this doesn't go unnoticed...👍

The demons of mediocrity always try to mirror the image and status of their idols, quite beautifully 😍 🤣 🤣
#1291 ·
Look, I mean, sure—it’s fine to roll out the red carpet for the national team, but doing it for these clubs? Not so much. 🙏 🙏
We basically have the exact same mindset as those die-hard hooligans—I mean, we gave our junior squad a hero's welcome right after they choked in the finals, which was... questionable. But when you throw a parade for the senior national team just because they got knocked out in the round of 16? That's a whole different level of delusion. That's the national team, for crying out loud. 🙏 🙏

He's originally from the outskirts of a town like Portland, and he’s constantly getting harassed by those die-hard football hooligans. Honestly, enough is enough for anyone with half a brain.

Now, those folks from the West Coast can stick their noses in wherever they want, but let’s be real: whenever this team plays, the stands are packed way tighter than any other club in the league.
As established veterans of the American fan scene—and since we're clearly the undisputed kings of stats and analysis here—don't let them try to shove some "local" version of the truth down your throats.
Look, I made sure to fix that one little thing for you, but everything else stays exactly the same because we are still totally on the same page, right?👍
#1294 ·
Well, I suppose welcoming these juniors is just another typical circus act from the local crowd, so there isn't much point in me trying to defend it, I guess.

Are you really pretending you don't see the difference just to avoid admitting you're all acting the same...🤣

Whatever helps people sleep at night, I guess. But man, this obsession with us is fascinating—especially the way they talk. Like, we followed the junior team on their road trips, we did the welcome home after the finals... honestly, most other fanbases wouldn't give a damn, but here it turns into this massive, overblown drama. And it’s coming from these guys who follow some random local basketball team or a handball club, or those kids playing futsal—nobody cares about them, nobody even comments on their stuff—so why bother? They should probably just go follow their own teams, though that seems pointless too. But the second we follow our juniors, it triggers something deep in their heads. The local hooligans immediately start celebrating a loss in the finals, acting like those old-school diehards from decades ago. You’ve got the hardcore fans meeting everyone at the airport, and then you’ve got this guy flying in here with some nonsense story.🙏🙏
Total psychopaths, really. Such an intense obsession. I’m telling you, if we slip one more spot on the standings next year, the suicide rate in this region might actually spike. And if—by some miracle—we actually win a championship, people will be losing their minds from coast to coast.

I wonder, perhaps, why the boys didn't make their way into the junior ranks at LP back when they had the chance?
