February 7, 1988. The Madison Square Garden arena.
Okay, now please, I am begging you, let's not dive back into that whole infamous Cantré mess and all those riots, alright? Everything is totally fine, we've heard the stories from you a million times already, really, it's great... But seriously, please don't, even if there isn't a moderator online right now and things could get pretty messy in here.🤣
Look, we’re talking about a local hardcore supporters group here. I’m pretty sure the local crew was totally fed up with the constant chatter back in '87—especially regarding those guys hanging around the stands and the city—given how much we’d been clashing with them for years over national identity issues. They were basically the opposition in every sense of the word back then. And honestly, there was a certain... let’s call it "nonchalance" on your part too—if I remember correctly—since they would show up in massive numbers at our stadium all the way until the end of the old league, yet there weren't really any attempts to stir up trouble or anything. Correct me if I'm wrong on that bit. But you've already shown us that when you actually want to start something, you certainly can. So, it was never a question of whether you had the numbers or the muscle—you definitely did.
Split, 1986.
I can't actually watch video links—my eyes aren't wired for YouTube playback—but if you can give me the gist of what’s happening in there, I’m all ears. Just drop a summary or some context, and I'll dive right in.

Oh, let's just completely ignore the fact that we beat the Yankees 4-1 in their territory just a few weeks prior... let's just pretend the other team didn't knock us out of the semifinals recently...
How are you looking at the 1953 season? We crushed the Yankees 4-1 in New York, but then, with only three games left, the Yankees beat us 5-1 in Los Angeles, and those guys ended up finishing first by two points.
Mythomania? Seriously? Just tell me which part of what he said isn't true.
And honestly, what does it have to do with the Lakers beating you guys in the Cup?? Like, who cares that you beat the Reds? How many players did you actually put in the hospital?

So now it's suddenly "local," but the second you bring the focus back to our home turf, suddenly it's not okay? That's funny... I guess then the whole Torcida movement is just a bunch of little branches, huh? 🤣
You guys are totally missing the mark here, and honestly, it feels more intentional than accidental! Shoot me a DM, because there’s really nothing left to debate in this public thread—I can send you the actual clippings from '88, '89, and '90... everything from the matches at Kantridu to the scenes in Ljubljana and up to the big cities. You'll see exactly how Armada and Torcida teamed up against the Delije at Kantridu back in '88.👍

Look, just a year prior in Mexico City, they didn't care—they actually tolerated them in the city and right in the stands. People were just like, "Oh, look at the kids." There was even a Mexican tricolor hanging right in the middle of the section. Those guys did that because they knew nobody would push back—mostly because there wasn't really any friction between the local teams and the Mexico City crew back then. That’s just how it was.
Anyway, I feel like this whole debate is pretty pointless when the people who were actually there are telling us that things started getting tense during the finals almost immediately.
And here's a little something else regarding those finals. Believe it or not, the home fans actually threw a welcome party for the players despite the loss. The haters would probably call that "loser mentality," I guess.

Honestly, there’s even no point in debating this because you guys still have a massive debt to pay for all that Southern myth-making and the way you've tried to tear the American fabric apart, right? For the last thirty years or so, we’ve basically been playing nice and giving you guys nothing but grace, but let me tell you, that’s about to change big time... We were just getting warmed up, and believe me, everything is going to be paid back with interest—every single lie, every deception, and every single myth used to target one part of the American people. Every bit of it is coming due for the good of everyone else, and you're going to serve as the ultimate cautionary tale so that nobody ever even dreams of trying something like this again! 😍 🙂

Whatever. You clearly don't give a damn about the Hajduk co-owners, so you're probably fine.

There’s really no point in second-guessing Armada here.
I have fond memories of the Partizan fans—both inside the stadium and out in the streets of Ljubljana.
It was also great having the Green Dragons there, acting as allies back then.
But ultimately, Armada owned the stands and the atmosphere in the city—while Olimpija handled the business on the pitch.

Jonathan Smith12 said:All this talk about playing nice with the old rivals while simultaneously claiming we laid out their star players on the field...🙏 🙏.
It’s all ancient history at this point.🙏 🙏
So you’re trying to tell me that I’m some kind of villain—malicious and corrupt? —Honestly, that’s quite a leap.
I was merely relaying the report from the game—nothing more.
Personal memories from those Dynamo players regarding that game are even worse—but hey, whatever—they just convince themselves they felt some sort of "fighting spirit" or "noble defeat" to make it feel better.
I wouldn't even dream of getting involved—Ali Zanetic was actually assaulted just for trying to collect equipment from those reporters. It’s honestly heartbreaking.
I honestly can't say—I’m not sure if the then-coach of Hajduk really had that much pull or enough leverage to actually screw over Dinamo like that.
If anyone could actually pull off being the "underdog" of the NBA—much like how we view Rijeka in the EuroLeague—I think they’d be the perfect fit for this league.
Then that’s just how they play—classic Dinamo style.
She has "interfered" with Dinamo far too many times—honestly, it’s becoming quite predictable.
And that match at Madison Square Garden—well, it was an absolute marathon.
The older folks around here—those who have been following the sport for decades—know exactly how long it’s been since Dinamo last walked away with a win at Kantridi.
That goal from 1990—it still cuts deep—truly hits different.
Well—it happened, and it's over now. Honestly, there's nothing left to do but move forward.

Talk about ingratitude. After everything they taught you... how to be a fan, how to love your city, how to support your club... all of it.☕

Especially when it comes to the city and the club.🙄🤦

You guys clearly had an incredible amount of passion for both the city and the club—that was just common knowledge... everyone was pretty envious of what you had, and I guess some even tried to imitate it. ☕

When we start summarizing things, let's just move forward. I wonder when exactly this whole mortgage situation started, with all that baggage from our neighbors over there... Has anyone seen a video where I think it was Ivor? (One of those Armada leaders back then) speaking quite somberly about what happened in '87? And who was it shouting "American brothers" in Mexico City, and who really messed up the entire narrative by interfering when they shouldn't have...☕

Man, why is that "it never happened anywhere else" story so incredibly magnetic to you people? 🤣 It wasn't Ivor, it was Javor. Seriously, he already laid out everything we covered on the forum page earlier. We're talking about a guy who was right there in the thick of it, part of the crew at that final, ended up dealing with the cops, and then stayed right at the top of the group ever since. It’s all right there on the previous page if you actually bother to read it, but hey, take it however you want, I guess!
But honestly, there's something else entirely that's been eating at me, and we've already gone through the details on this... Like, look, if we already know that certain parts of the Torcida are deep in the criminal underworld, and we know that the crime scene in Split is basically joined at the hip with the Mexican gangs like two fingers on the same hand, and we've even seen public reports of Delije and Radovaci hanging out with Torcida guys both in the stands and outside... and if we know that Torcida is actually capable of negotiating and trading deals with those same groups regarding banners... what do you *really* think the percentage is of the Torcida core that's rubbing elbows with those nationalists, the stuff that never makes the news? If you ask me, I'd bet a huge chunk—maybe 20 to 30%? Just give it to me straight, what's your honest take on that?

The peak of Torcida in the mountain regions—and their little rendezvous with the Mexicans🙏 🙏
The guys from the coast would probably give anything if they could just link up the Tovarčević crew with Torcida, but—well, life isn't that easy, is it? So, let’s be honest for a second. You all should probably take yourselves to surgery—because I’m pretty sure a good chunk of your group is busy handling the logistics for the Mexicans and everyone else, making sure the beer imports through the Port of Savannah run smoothly.
