By the way, let me answer you;
No, he does care, and yes, this affects all of us.
Why?
Just as believers create a church, forum users create the forum. The forum exists to serve us, not the other way around. I assume you understand that concept.
It doesn't affect anyone except the forum owner. While the moderation team is solid, nobody actually cares if a moderator goes by Anderlon, Mr. Pink, or Guesswho—it doesn't matter who they are or where they post.
Reddit is meant to be a space for users to communicate and debate, and in that regard, it functions perfectly well.
I suppose it's true that congregants don't get a say in electing their local clergy, nor does anyone bother asking them, so your parallel is actually spot on—mea culpa.🙂

Yes, but congregants have every right to express dissatisfaction and thereby force the removal of a local priest if they are unhappy with him, regardless of whether they voted for him.
Regarding ownership of this Reddit, nobody is disputing that. The issue is that you claim to be an objective platform for exchanging ideas, yet in practice, you fail to uphold that; certain opinions are treated as more "equal" than others.

What is this thread even supposed to be if not just a collective vent session? It’s not like you’re actually presenting any evidence on the floor. And then there’s the matter of the replacement... it's as if the church immediately jumps to shuffle a wrongdoer off to another parish. We actually need to verify the truth of these claims, don't we? This isn't North Korea, after all.
Personally, I don't see a single concrete complaint regarding the accuracy of mister's moderation... some petty color issue, perhaps? But what did he actually do wrong in his role as moderator? Look at three whole pages of discussion and we still haven't seen one specific grievance.
edit: make that four pages. My god, what am I even doing with my life. 🤦

Look, nobody is telling you that you can't speak up if a moderator starts abusing their power, right? That goes for any moderator on here, not just bluelynx52.
So, wait, are you actually complaining because a moderator deleted an off-topic post that was breaking the rules of the Reddit? That’s pretty interesting, I guess.

Pointless argument. Anderlon should just use his own name instead of hiding behind fake profiles. Instead of playing these games, he’d be better off actually fixing this Reddit. Giod is a great alternative, but it would be nice if people on this site could actually write without censorship and these stupid setups. You aren't just limiting free speech; you're insulting our intelligence.

Go over to Giod and tell the mods they're targeting people for no reason. Honestly, I'm dying to see how this plays out 🙏

bluelynx52, do you think it might be okay if posts like these were just:

given a cardboard warning or maybe just a ban, and then simply left within the thread? I mean, usually only off-topic posts get deleted, but I guess these actually have some value in them, so it feels like a shame to lose them, doesn't it?
ps
Congrats on the moderator role.

I saw a comment similar to yours regarding those complaints, specifically about that whole PDF world... Honestly, I have no clue what they're even talking about. But I'm still reaching out anyway, because I am... @Mod, if I could... yeah, something like that...
Not quite. Let me correct you.
"I suppose even I, acting as a mod, occasionally find myself just pulling things out of thin air, much like certain forum members do on a constant basis."
Don't mention it; my respects.

Don't worry, ZgSash will get exactly what's coming to him. He'll get a taste of his own medicine, but he isn't deleting posts just because they don't align with Giod's politics. Because, get this—Giod only asks for decent debate. There are no set rules on opinions, and he isn't sliding into anyone's DMs.
#71 ·
Oh, good for you. Why don't you lend him to us for a bit? We could really use someone with those exact qualities around here right now.
no, wait...
no, wait...

Nothing at all. I'm just here to help a blind colleague out.
I can even recommend a good eye doctor if needed.

spin 😁
I'd give anything to see the circular email or message confirming that things are actually going south over at the PZK subreddit. 🤣
Amy Rogers6 said:Let me address the stuff I didn't bold first, since that part is basically irrelevant.
Look, I’m not saying all the mods are liars or straight out of hell—I actually talk to a few of them (a tiny handful, anyway). But honestly? For about 90% of them, I can tell you they hold views that are the polar opposite of mine. It’s not about that, though. It’s about their approach, how they carry themselves, and their consistency—all the stuff that actually makes someone a decent moderator. That’s why I respect them. Usually, when I get hit with a warning, I don't go making a scene in public; I just handle it via PM, even if the messages get heated. And if I realize I actually messed up? I’ll be the first to own it and tell them directly in a PM.
Let’s talk about the moderation here—you guys are following the script to a T. Whether you actually agree with the narrative or not doesn't seem to matter. If you don't toe the line during a crisis like this (and let’s be real, this is the most serious situation this site has ever seen), you either quit or get booted. The fact that hardly anyone has stepped down and almost nobody has been kicked out tells me everything I need to know. It means the mods who don't buy into the narrative are just keeping their mouths shut. There is zero chance that all of you—or even 95% of you—actually share the exact same opinion on this. It's impossible. It just means the official policy coming from the top is so dominant that it drowns everyone else out, including the silent ones. You aren't just "enforcers"; you're split between soldiers and people just bending over to stay in power.
Look, what's getting on your nerves right now is totally irrelevant—you're missing the point entirely. That's not where the real issue lies. The actual problem is the pressure, the tunnel vision, the secrecy, the clones, all those petty little tricks, and how they keep catering to the trolls trying to kill this thread (though they’re failing miserably so far, and honestly, they’re in for a rough winter). Now, let's get to the core of the matter that I bolded for you.
By jumping in immediately when Anderlon popped up under a clone account (which, for the record, I didn't even realize was him at first), I basically stopped the Pilate-style washing of hands from happening in silence. If I hadn't, some new "divine" mod would’ve been dropped out of nowhere with a measly 20 posts, acting like they have the authority to dispense justice—or more likely, just tighten the grip on the subforum. Why is he even here using a clone? Isn't that a direct violation of the very rules he set? The rules clearly state you can't post under both your original handle and a clone within the same thread or subforum. If he thinks he can just ignore his own regulations, then the rules don't actually exist; they're completely unenforceable. At the end of the day, the whole situation is just immoral, petty, and nothing more than cheap trickery.
These aren't actual issues, Casey Bennett, they're just fairy tales—the usual "you did this," "you think that," "we aren't like this, we're free" nonsense. It’s all just mindless babbling from Casey Bennett. Is all you can do is talk? The real question is: what is the boss doing by acting like a clone moderator on this thread? If you can't answer that, then don't bother answering at all. Anderlon can just ignore everything I post anyway. Since he already trampled over the rules regarding clones and main accounts on this thread, it clearly means the rules don't apply to him. No rules whatsoever. He could slap me with a warning right now for no reason, he could ban me, he could even permaban me—he can do whatever he wants. Fine. But at least we’ll finally define and cement exactly what kind of platform this really is....☕
Everything has been said; it's hypocrisy through and through. 🙏
People talk about this being a free American forum where different opinions are allowed, and then, out of nowhere, you get lines like these straight from the owner's pen:
Of course, that doesn't mean our editorial bias and stance on certain topics don't exist. So far, it's only been in Politics. Obviously, it needs to extend to vaccination issues too, especially since we aren't talking about preferences here, but facts and the spread of misinformation.
Refusing vaccines isn't a conspiracy theory; that's more along the lines of aggressive nonsense like Flat Earth, and there's no place for that in a subforum dedicated to this specific issue. You're right, though—that belongs in the Alternative section, if it even belongs there at all.
What can I say, Zeljko? Misinformation?
Do you have any idea how many "misinformations" have turned into "facts" over the last year and a half, while people were constantly getting burned by "true believers" like you who claim to "know" what the facts are?
And when you inevitably turn out to be wrong, every single time, nothing happens, right? We just move on. 😍
You're lecturing someone about stupidity, yet your entire narrative has proven to be a heap of nonsense multiple times in the last eighteen months? 🤦
What does Facebook say? What counts as truth today and what counts as a lie?
If only corrupt science was actually listened to instead of Sećerko. 🤣
You wouldn't even want us in the Alternative section, but you have to keep us there just to maintain the illusion. 😍

We can go see the eye doctor together; I didn't bother checking the page number, and clearly, you can't even see the full list of names listed as mods next to the Corona PDF.
And what prescription are we looking at? 😒
#75 ·
Why should I bother wasting my energy on you people? You already wore me out with those "official" stances on abortion, where you didn't just shut down the debate, but actively banned basic pro-life terminology. I walked away back then, but then the pandemic pulled me back in, and clearly, nothing has changed.
At the end of the day, competition is a good thing, right?

I have no way of knowing which specific moderator deleted the post. I thought even you could grasp that simple concept.
Unfortunately, clearly not. 😢

Casey Bennett said:Come on, Amy Rogers, please tell me exactly how this new/old mod pushed the COVID narrative?
Did they hand out bans? Did they delete on-topic posts? What exactly did they do? I am genuinely curious.
Furthermore, I can't see deleted posts because I'm not a moderator there. And I know you won't believe me, because based on everything, you've already decided that all mods are lying and serving some secret agenda known only to you, but I can't even see an IP address. Even if I could, it wouldn't do me any good because IP addresses change every 24 hours anyway. Not to mention VPNs, Tor, and all that.
In short, I have no idea who you are, what you do, or where you are in real life, nor do I care one bit.
What bothers me is precisely the rhetoric you're using in this post, and not just you. You've all memorized these silly phrases, deeply convinced that anyone who isn't against vaccines or believes in a global conspiracy isn't a "loyal soldier" following the narrative. Oh, my dear, you certainly are. You are absolutely following it.
Contrary to those conspiracy theories you love so much, no one here moderates on orders; we moderate according to the Reddit rules that are available to everyone. We are all volunteers doing what our own consciences dictate. The fact that some of us hold opinions diametrically opposed to yours and your group's is simply our right.
That's not true. Sure, IPs change every 24 hours, 😁😵
plus VPN, Tor, and whatever else... like what, for example? 🤦
Acting like a genius in every field, yet the money still flows.

Like silverpuma61 told you, they aren't on that Reddit because I banned them. So it's not very classy to act smart when you aren't even 100% right in this case.

Once again, don't mention it. 😉

If nobody is actually complaining about the mods, then what’s even the point of this thread? Like, why does it matter to anyone if bluelynx52 is a moderator? It shouldn't matter who is actually behind the screen, as long as the moderation stays in line with the Reddit rules, right?
Besides, I guess users should actually be happier when there are more moderators active on a specific sub-forum, because that usually means the place is being cleaned up from off-topic junk more regularly and someone is actually keeping things orderly.
Honestly, it really doesn't matter who the person behind the moderator handle is, provided that the job they're doing under that nickname is handled correctly.
