I’ve got this TP-Link 3G/4G wireless router set up with a USB modem running a prepaid data plan—standard stuff, right?—and theoretically, I should be able to pull some connectivity from it. But here’s the snag: when I try to jump on via my phone, I get that dreaded "no internet access" notification. I tried switching over to my laptop to see if that would bypass the issue, but nope—same dead end. Total silence. I actually called the service provider—they’re claiming everything looks perfect on their end—and they even told me that if I plug the USB modem directly into my laptop, the connection works just fine. So, according to them, the data is flowing. The router itself isn't broken either; it’s practically brand new. I'm honestly at a loss here—staring at blinking lights and getting nowhere. Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this disconnect between the modem working solo and failing once it hits the router? I'm completely stumped.

That setup isn't going to work quite the way you're planning; what you actually need is this: . Since I noticed you already have a 3G/4G router on hand, you can just pop that Mint Mobile SIM card right into it, which means you won't even need to bother with a separate USB modem.
