They really should have just made one single movie for the third installment, but honestly? I’m actually relieved they didn't stretch this final chapter out into some endless marathon like they did with Part 1. Look, I’ve got my gripes—two big ones and a handful of smaller issues—but at the end of the day, I walked away feeling pretty satisfied. It gets surprisingly dark at times, which was a pleasant little shock to the system for me. The tension stays high throughout, only losing its rhythm for a brief moment here and there. Snow is absolutely excellent. For me, it’s a solid piece of work that hit the marks I was looking for.

If you check IMDb, Part 1 is actually 123 minutes, while Part 2 clocks in at 137. So it's actually even longer.
Either way, it's a lot. Sitting through nearly four and a half hours of this stuff total...

I meant the "feel" of the movie, not just the runtime on paper. In Part 1, some scenes felt so dragged out I thought we were filming a six-day epic instead of a feature.

But yeah, I'll give you that—the whole thing is unnecessarily long...

There were moments where certain scenes just let me down because I had this totally different vision of how they'd play out. But hey, that's usually the struggle when you've read the book first, right? You build this perfect version in your head and then it's hard to be truly objective when you start pointing out "mistakes"...

And setting the movie quality aside, I have to vent for a second because it seriously annoyed me that there wasn't even an intermission at the theater 🤣
For a movie this long, they really should've included a break, especially since those trailers before the movie started dragged on for over 25 minutes :roleeyes:
By the last half hour, I was struggling to even focus on the screen, mostly because I'd grabbed this huge soda and, well, after sitting in a theater for three hours straight, I'd basically finished the whole thing...😵

Just finished the movie and honestly? It’s good. For a franchise aimed at a younger crowd, it actually carries some weight—both in its themes and its overall style. They don't shy away from the grit, either; the war scenes are pretty brutal, and you can tell the characters are dealing with some genuine, heavy trauma.

My one big gripe, though, is how tough it is to follow if you haven't sat through the entire series...
It’s just not designed like a collection of standalone stories—it’s more like one massive, continuous narrative that’s been sliced up into several parts, where each one picks up exactly where the last left off.

My biggest gripe? That absolutely brainless sequence where those two try to slip into the palace through a column of refugees, just wearing hoods like they’re being subtle. It’s ridiculous. Every single damn screen in the entire city is broadcasting their faces on loop! If they had just put on some makeup, grabbed a wig, or even just a pair of sunglasses—I mean, Tigris had enough supplies at her disposal to pull off a decent disguise if she actually tried. But no. Instead, we get that classic, lazy "save-the-day-at-the-last-second" trope. Honestly, there were so many ways they could have filmed that better.

I hate commercial breaks, but honestly—it’s true. These ads are absolutely killing me. If they were just short little bumpers instead of these endless marathons, I wouldn't mind so much. Yeah, I felt the exact same way, it was all a bit much for me too. It felt like they didn't even have a real plan, or if they did, there was zero chance it would actually work. And that part where she climbed up high just to get a better view of everything? Come on, give me a break... 😁

I haven't encountered this much sheer pathos and naivety in a single movie in quite some time... It honestly feels like the entire production was conceived at the intellectual level of a ten-year-old.

Part 1 was a disappointment, and Part 2 manages to be even worse. It’s a real shame, especially considering the massive potential the series showed after those first two installments were actually decent.

I just sat through a movie that lasted over two hours, and honestly? I can't even recall a single standout scene. It’s all just... there. I guess it might be okay if you're just looking to kill a boring Sunday at home, but definitely not worth a trip to the theater. As for those final scenes, I won't even get into it—just a total letdown. Such a shame because the potential was clearly there.

I thought those castle scenes were pretty solid. Honestly, I’m a big fan of the whole series, so even though this finale could have been much stronger, I still enjoyed it. I agree with the point about them just wearing hoodies for disguises—when it came to Tigris, they really could have gone all out with the costumes to actually change their look.

The movie's just okay. Honestly, it’s kind of annoying how she’s still playing some damsel in distress; I haven't read the books, but I'm guessing they're leaning hard into some love triangle nonsense or whatever. And that forced horror vibe in the underground scenes? You know something's gonna jump out at you, but thanks to the sound system and those vibrations in the theater, your heart's still gonna skip a beat 😁. Then there's that whole bit where they climb the stairs and you just *know* someone's dying right there—total cliché. You can practically guess who it is. Also, that careless walking through the city when you know there are traps everywhere? Hilarious. The double bomb trick was alright, though obviously they aren't the first people to think of that. The ending was satisfying (not talking about those cringey romance scenes, but the arrow through the heart 😁), even if it was predictable.
To be blunt, the only thing I hate about this whole series is the attempt to bait younger audiences by mixing the themes. Like, people are literally slaughtering each other, but let's make it look all romantic and cute. Either make a brutal massacre or make a romance; don't try to pull this wannabe romance-adventure crap. A good chunk of the film looks totally naive, even if the actors are doing their best to carry it.

EDIT: Longest damn commercials I've ever seen in a theater. It makes me want to never step foot in a cinema again. If I'm paying freaking top dollar for tickets, I expect a movie without a mountain of ads. If anyone's shoving anything down my throat, it should be the plot, not a bunch of commercials.

Most shows stick to about 15 minutes, but when they have one of those massive blockbusters, they tend to push it to that full 25-minute limit. Honestly, I find the whole thing pretty irritating; sitting through that much extra footage is often just exhausting.
