If only the leftists would finally realize they’re essentially the backbone of that criminal Republican Party organization. Every single time those Republicans need a distraction, the lefties step up with their absolute nonsense just to drive the sensible conservatives completely out of the conversation! ☕

But hey, isn't that just how it goes when someone tries to fight against all of that? 🙏

Honestly, wouldn't it be better to just sit back, relax, and enjoy watching both sides frustrate each other? ☕

James Anderson5 said:So, that’s just the classic rhetoric you hear from the quasi-right wing here in America, and the strength of their arguments... 🤣 I’m definitely winning here because I’ve got better things to do, like listening to Thompson and watching priests get under the skin of those old-school Marxists... It’s pretty great when they run into someone else just like them and realize they're on the right side... 😁Everyone else obviously hates America, and if they aren't happy with how things are running around here, they’re more than welcome to leave...

It’s such a simple world when everything is just black and white. It makes it so easy to label people at a glance... if you aren't with the Republican Party, you're immediately branded a communist or the antichrist. If you believe in evolution, suddenly you're an atheist. Or if you just hold some moderate, civic views, you're labeled a liberal or a radical...

You’ve taken everything way too seriously. 🙂

And honestly, you can find that same exact garbage on the other side of the aisle. If you're against Marshall, you're a fascist. If you're religious, you're a backward zealot. If you're from the rural South, you're just some hillbilly. If you support veterans, you're just looking for handouts. If you listen to Thompson, you're uneducated. If you even dare to write the word "but," you're a total snowflake...

As far as I'm concerned, I don't know how most people—especially those die-hard Republican Party supporters—haven't realized yet that the Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin. About two-thirds of the old Communist Party coalition jumped ship to the Republicans back in the 90s, while the other third went to the Democrats. Neither party is actually going to do anything good for America; it's just that the Democrats were more moderate and civic-minded in their worldview, and they didn't steal quite as much in absolute terms, which made them more acceptable to a lot of people. People basically voted for them out of pure spite because they were fed up with all the corruption coming from the Republicans.

But honestly, it'll be tough for that establishment to let anyone new onto the stage, especially now that they've finally set things up exactly the way they want them...

Of course! What would those two political parties even do without each other? Honestly, their supporters' lives would probably feel pretty aimless if they didn't have that constant opposition to rally against ☕

Honestly, let them disagree. If everyone actually thought exactly the same way, we’d be living in North Korea. Or some dystopian version of America. ☕

Yeah...

And I'm sure their main supporters aren't the types mocking the philosophy students who can't make a dime—all while sucking up to the establishment and tossing Starčević's ideas to the guys at KBF because, apparently, they'll make a living through exports or something.🤦

And I bet it's definitely not that genius who accused me of pushing for America and communism back in 2017. Me—someone born in '91.🤣

But hey, you hit the nail on the head.🤣

It might be time to ditch that signature in your profile. It might have been a cool touch back when "In Bruges" first came out, but today? Not so much.

Can someone born in '91 really be out here trying to push communism or acting like America was some kind of lost paradise?

They need to actually earn it first. They haven't won a championship or made any real waves in Europe yet. So, for now, the quote stays...☕

If they were going to come after me for writing a ballad about Marshall and America—I wouldn't say a word. But since I'm labeled a communist and a nostalgic for America because I view fascists as such—fine.🤦

So, since I've already been branded a nostalgic, I might as well let my avatar match the reputation.👍

You're certainly high-strung, ☕

What has anyone actually achieved in the liberal arts besides becoming a punchline? 🤷

Let's be real: if I were in charge, I'd privatize higher education entirely. Then all those various slackers would have to deal with being broke on their own dime! ☕

It’s nice that we can at least be free and open here on the forum. Enjoy yourself.

Justin James10 said:We really need to decouple everything from the national budget. If people want to fund their own interests, they should just go for it; this whole socialist approach where the government pays for every little thing is absolutely insane.

But honestly, it’s incredibly frustrating when the Church goes out of its way to provoke liberals.☕

Half the country would be starving 😁

...unlike the crowd spending five years learning how to spin fairy tales—the ones who all, without exception, end up landing cushy government jobs?

It isn’t really about whether anyone "earned" it—it’s just about people moving the goalposts to suit their own biases. The reality is an average person gets more practical value out of a philosophy degree than someone from a specialized technical institute like KBF, yet one group gets mocked while the other is treated with reverence.

But at the end of the day, it's all nonsense—too trivial to even argue about, let alone get worked up over. Still, since we finally made it to the level of Switzerland in 2017 (thanks to Kolinda 🙂), I guess we don't have any smarter political topics to obsess over.

Alright, let me pivot away from these topics for a second. Does anyone actually know the deal with Tesla and how the whole company operates? The reason I’m asking is that I’m not super well-versed in it, but whenever I scroll through BuzzFeed comments or dive into threads here, the sentiment regarding Tesla is almost always negative—like, 90% of it is just pure hate. So, I'm curious from a purely informational standpoint: what's the actual story? Is this just standard American envy, or is the hype surrounding this guy genuinely overblown? I already know about his father, so you can skip that part—you can't judge a kid by his old man's track record.

Again, I'm only looking for input from someone who actually understands the industry and can be objective—not that cult-like crowd over in the economics forums. Over there, people are pushing these wild theories that Tesla produces and sells absolutely nothing, and that they're basically just running around the office while his dad's partners foot the bill.

The "Communists" already gave you an answer, Anthony Jackson2 😁

Look, if we had a decent system where taxpayers weren't being bled dry by special interests, the only people left hungry would be the idle and the criminals. Isn't that just how that old communist logic goes? "If you work, you don't have to worry about hunger." ☕

Anthony Jackson2, you're claiming nobody mocks the Church? Please! Christianity is arguably the most ridiculed religion in history; there isn't a bigger target out there. Honestly, since Christians aren't out there throwing bombs around, they're such easy targets, aren't they?

Actually, I'm saying I'd cut off funding for everyone—that's what I emphasized.

It seems FF has started to seriously underestimate themselves lately. It’s likely weighing heavily on them, though one has to wonder what the world would look like without the humanities. Think about how many engineers and PhDs out there are socially inept; I don't just mean they're difficult to work with, but that they genuinely lack the basic social graces required to function in a community.
