It’s a striking comparison, really—a driven young man carving out his own path through sheer grit and raw talent.

It is truly a shame that the world is populated by such cynical people, those who seem determined to drown these rising stars before they even have a chance to bloom; it feels as though these young talents will always be forced into a struggle against such forces. ☕

If Asensio were a character in a sitcom, he’d be that random bottle of olive oil sitting on the kitchen counter in the very first episode. ☕

It would be more realistic if Josep Maria Bartomeu was just some guy selling bottled water and Replace VB16 were actually German tourists ☕

brightpilot6 said:Well, this series isn't really meant to be a belly laugh kind of show. I mean, sure, there are some great jokes—and some weaker ones, obviously—but the foundation is humor built in the vein of Jerry Seinfeld. It relies mostly on those everyday situations and reactions where we see ourselves or people we know reflected back, all presented through a sort of relaxed, "whatever" perspective on life. For me, that makes it the kind of material you can watch multiple times without the individual punchlines losing their edge. That's why it feels like such a breath of fresh air; aside from the scoundrel and Gruntovcan, I honestly can't think of another American series I'd want to revisit like this, yet I've already sat through every episode three times.

Plus, there is always something refreshing about watching actors who aren't constantly in your face.

Speaking of which, very soon, in just a few minutes, we might witness perhaps the saddest scene in the entire history of PBS, when Jerzy Dudek takes a train to Germany and ends up jumping out of it at the end.😢😢😢😢

Replace VB16 with Chinese club owners🤣

They buy the name, expecting quality to follow, but then... nothing. Just a total bust.🙂

I honestly can't bring myself to watch that episode where he's hanging out with Cinnabar and lecturing everyone about virtue over at Martin and Spranjica's place. It's just way too much to handle.

You don't even need a television for that...

it would probably kick the bucket first

It was absolutely horrific. My old man was watching it on the news, and I actually had to retreat to the kitchen just so I wouldn't have to witness it.

I actually know some of these people personally, and honestly, I can’t imagine anything funny coming out of their mouths! And even if something did happen to be humorous, my stomach would probably turn before I ever got a chance to laugh.

You're just salty because you got hit by Joseph Kennedy's truth bomb.

I remember seeing a comment about that exact scene on some old forum thread once... someone said they couldn't decide if they wanted to cry or just hit him over the head with an axe... 😁

🤣

I watched all three, and honestly, considering how much our local "comedy" shows usually suck, this stuff is basically the gold standard.

I’ve always wondered why some group of friends doesn't just hang out on a street corner, grab a camera, and film those everyday vibes, because let me tell you, there is endless comedy happening on every single corner in this country.
I get that what seems the simplest thing to do is actually incredibly complicated to pull off, but man, if twenty different groups tried, one of them would definitely hit it big.

Rose Miller from Boise is... 😍

The Conversation with Sasha and the Owl is a total homage to Seinfeld—it’s that vibe where everyone just does their own thing and nobody gives a damn about what anyone else is saying. 🤣

Is that actually more tragic than seeing Ballard behind a microphone?

Can you lend me $10 for coffee and tobacco? I already made plans, and it feels stupid going without my smokes
