Is there anything out there regarding an automatic bicycle?
If one exists, it’ll probably cost you at least eight thousand bucks on Craigslist. No paperwork, no receipts, nothing.

Just finished watching 1917

Unknown, basically just saving Ryan's life, but a lighter version.

I highly recommend checking out the new "Maradona" documentary. It was produced by Kapadia, and you can find it everywhere from China to various torrent sites. It’s an incredible look at his years in Naples. Interestingly, it focuses less on the actual football and more on Maradona himself—the wild atmosphere of Naples and the broader context of Italy. It isn't some idealized worship piece, nor is it mocking him; instead, it's a beautiful portrayal of a brilliantly talented, charismatic kid from the favelas who found himself, and eventually lost himself, in Naples.

Wait, have you actually seen the one on Netflix?

Not yet. Is it any good?

I watched a bit of that Emir Kusturica film once, but honestly, it was so painful I could barely sit through it.

I watched it a little while ago, and I wasn't exactly blown away, I guess.🤷

But maybe that's just because I set my expectations way too high, especially after seeing the trailer.🤷

Look, I’ve got massive expectations here. After seeing Ayrton Senna, which is easily a top 5 film of all time, I'm expecting something huge from this one.

What did you expect? Personally, I actually enjoyed it. It really leaned into those specific years in Naples, setting the scene perfectly, and they portrayed Diego Maradona as such a complex figure—part genius athlete, part charming rogue, part naive kid, and part selfish maniac. And the best part? They pulled the whole thing off using nothing but archival footage and interviews from supporting players. Usually, when people talk about Maradona, it’s either "he was an alien" or "he was a total idiot," but this finally felt like a realistic, nuanced look at the man.

Fine, I was looking at some docs on Maradona, but it’s not like I was sitting there on my ass over it.

The truth is, that Senna documentary is one of the most inaccurate things out there.

Is that the one where they totally demonized Prost?🤣 I haven't seen it, but I didn't really feel like watching once I heard it was just pure propaganda.😁

Unknown, it's not even that they demonized him—they just completely buried the whole dynamic between Ayrton Senna and the Unknown. They totally glossed over how close they actually were, especially after the Unknown basically walked away from Formula 1 at the end of the '93 season.

I'm not a woman.

Regarding Maradona and all that.
Honestly, I can't stand those movies focused on one specific person.
The whole biography concept has never interested me. It’s just one individual, and I don't care about the opinion or perspective of just one person.

The closest thing to a biography I've ever watched was Wolf of Wall Street, and even then, only because it was entertaining.

Now we just have to wait for them to film a documentary about Del Piero's glory days in Padua. ☕

By the way, there's already an incredible documentary out about Agnelli. It's top-tier.

They also mention in the Maradona doc that the director likes to twist the truth, but since I don't know much about his life or work, I have no clue which parts they're talking about.
