Didn't you just sit here crying about wanting a perm? Go back to sobbing somewhere else, serious topics clearly aren't for you.

🙂🙂🙂

Watching a user face their own sheer stupidity head-on is honestly like music to my ears. 😂😂

Instead of crawling back into your little hole, you're out here providing us with all this new entertainment, and honestly, I really appreciate it.

Now do me a favor and get lost. You're sitting there counting your measly minimum wage earnings like they actually matter, though I bet you don't even know the difference between gross pay and what hits your bank account. You might have over 30 gigs of gear, but you act like some spoiled brat with a low IQ, trying way too hard to be funny with those pathetic little emojis. Maybe if you were part of the toddler generation, you'd actually fit in at that level.

Add in all that sponsor money and bonuses, and your daily take will look just as ridiculous as you do. $167
Now go back to your pacifier until you finally mature enough to hold a real conversation.

Paul Martinez73 said:But sure, go ahead and claim the mortality rate is low or similar to the flu. Or maybe argue that the numbers are high only because everyone is getting hospitalized and tested? Do you see the contradiction there? What are you even basing these assumptions on, since you haven't provided a shred of evidence for this "six weeks of mild cases" theory... maybe you'll actually have some proof for this part?

That’s like claiming HIV mortality rates are fake because plenty of people die worldwide without being recorded, or arguing that people aren't being recorded in the stats because there are still huge numbers of cases in Africa that aren't tracked.

Why focus on anything other than reporting the confirmed cases and the outcomes of those reported cases? If there's a massive wave of unreported infections, there's an equally massive wave of unreported deaths. One rises with the other; you can try to nitpick the known figures all you want, but you can't just delete the imaginary ones you think are more accurate...

I can, because I’m using common sense.

At the end of the day, even the Chinese authorities are finding the mortality rate is under 1%—despite those initial estimates of 3-4%—simply because these things are tallied and adjusted once the dust settles, accounting for the probability of undiagnosed cases.

Besides, a janitor in Charleston who was an early patient was only caught through random testing—which just proves it's impossible to track the spread accurately when we don't truly know who's sick and who isn't.

That's like saying HIV mortality rates are fake because people die globally without being recorded, or claiming they aren't recorded because there are still huge numbers in Africa that aren't in the statistics.

I'm not saying it's fake—just that there's room for error in measuring stats like this, especially while the epidemic is still peaking. Accuracy improves over time as tracking continues; I shouldn't have to explain that.

If there are tons of unreported infections, there are also plenty of unreported deaths. One rises with the other—you can cling to the known figures all you want, but you can't just erase the ones you think are imaginary.

Look, I already said there are unreported deaths, but the fact remains that practically no country knows who their "patient zero" is—which means the reliability of the data tracking is low.

It’s gonna be wild when the inspectors finally get their hands on all those crumbling buildings downtown. Like, seriously, how many of them are even safe to stand in anymore, regardless of what happened during the earthquake? ☕

I guess it doesn't matter if your building is literally falling apart as long as you live within two minutes of the President, right? Apparently, structural integrity isn't a priority.

We actually agree on that part, except for the fact that you're being contradictory. You can't make any definitive claims about mortality or how dangerous this is right now. That’s my whole point: it's foolish to speculate until the dust settles or we have a truly representative sample. You can't determine danger levels based on 300,000 infections when the numbers are shifting every single day. And let's be honest, the Chinese data is totally unreliable and should probably be tossed out of all global stats, whether we're talking about infection rates or deaths.

I can respect your opinion that the final numbers might end up looking milder than the flu, but I'm just not buying that claim. So far, nothing suggests it's less dangerous than the flu. Even if that 1% figure you keep pushing turns out to be true, you'd have to admit that 1% is significantly higher than 0.1%, making it much more dangerous by comparison.

So, how’s the silence going on the soccer thread? 🤣 🤣 🤣

So, now that you've been banned, are you actually going to cry again just so they'll hand you back your permanent access...?

You dropped twenty posts here today, and honestly, every single one was a bigger load of nonsense than the last. You were just as out of line and full of it last time, too...

*Sigh*...

Some countries have actually gone and made wearing masks mandatory... 🤣 🤣

Everyone should probably just start wearing masks... 🤣 🤣

There is a massive difference between making a recommendation and actually mandating one, so maybe try doing a quick search on that sometime. This guy is honestly laughing in the face of reality when he claims everyone in Asia wears masks, and I mean, what am I even supposed to say to that?
Basically, why am I even bothering to spread the word here, because some other idiot is just going to jump in and claim that people in India don't wear them either.
I didn't even say "Asia" as a whole, I specifically meant the countries that have been the most successful at fighting this virus, which would be Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan.
Literally every single person there wears a mask, and even the local government mandates it.
And then you have this clown laughing at me, so I really have to wonder who I'm even wasting my breath on. 🤦He’d probably just laugh if I mentioned that in Singapore they hand out massive fines for littering gum on public surfaces—well, except they don't actually hand out fines because nobody ever litters gum in the first place.

Other countries in Asia also recommend wearing masks, too; remember how the Thai Minister of Health had that famous racist outburst recently where he tweeted that all those dirty white people should just be kicked out of Thailand because they refuse to wear masks?
And let's be real, Thailand definitely isn't in the same league as Taiwan, Singapore, or Japan.

But seriously, why am I explaining myself to a moron? He thinks it's all a joke. If he saw an Asian person wearing a mask in his tiny little hometown, he’d probably fall on the floor laughing. It's a good thing Asians haven't moved into those backwoods areas yet; it's probably for the best they didn't run fiber optic cables all the way out there.

I have someone in my own family dealing with a serious illness right now; they've already fought through two nasty bouts of the flu and their strength is basically gone. If this whole mess hits them and they pass away, would you just shrug and say, "Well, they were going to die soon regardless" or "They would have died from the flu anyway"?

God, you look ridiculous trying so hard to justify your takes just so you can play judge and jury over whether someone is ready to go. If someone is sitting in a hospital bed, they're pretty much ready to die regardless. 🙏

And while we're at it, let's settle this: are there really this many victims and full hospitals because everyone is getting tested, or is the death rate so high simply because only the critical cases make it into the official stats while most people just recover at home?

We should probably apply that same logic to the mortality rate of the flu, too. Is every single case of the flu being tracked? If we’re looking at a 2% mortality rate here versus 0.01% for the flu, and you try to argue the number is ten times lower just because most people recovered at home without hitting the statistics, then we have to apply that exact same reasoning to the flu.

🤔

Why have so many coronavirus patients died in Italy?
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-h...ts-died-italy/

According to Prof Walter Ricciardi, scientific adviser to Italy’s minister of health, the country’s mortality rate is far higher because of demographics—the nation has the second oldest population in the world—and the way hospitals record deaths.

“The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous, in the sense that all the people who die in hospitals with the coronavirus are considered to be dying of the coronavirus.”

“Upon re-evaluation by the National Institutes of Health, only 12 per cent of death certificates showed a direct link to coronavirus, while 88 per cent of the patients who passed away had at least one pre-existing condition— many had two or three,” he noted.

“This doesn't imply that COVID-19 didn't contribute to a patient's death; rather, it shows that Italy's fatality numbers spiked because a huge portion of the patients already had underlying health issues.”

I've already posted this,
What happened in Italy needs to be looked at through additional perspective. A scientific paper by A. and g. Remuzzi published in The Lancet in March 2020 showed that the average age of the first 827 deaths in Italy was 81 years old, and more than two-thirds had diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, or were former smokers. Essentially, these were the same people who likely would have died from the flu anyway if they hadn't been vaccinated. Furthermore, in a study by Rosano et al. published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases in 2019, the flu was attributed to 20,259 deaths in Italy during the 2014-15 season, and in the 2016-17 season...There have been a total of 24,981 deaths, even with vaccination efforts underway. This suggests that the final death toll from COVID-19 in Italy could end up being at least roughly comparable to those figures if current infection and mortality rates continue to decline in the coming days.

🤷 It’s kind of funny, but I just wanted to point out that the people passing away were likely going to die from something else anyway due to their critical condition. It's also a bit funny to say that Italy and Wuhan aren't exactly reliable sources when you're trying to calculate infection and mortality rates within the general population.

I'm not sure who "we" are supposed to be. If it makes you feel any better, I'm just representing myself here.

When it comes to estimating flu cases, most people just sleep it off or power through it without a second thought. Statistics only really capture the ones who actually end up seeing a doctor. Plus, it’s tough to draw a direct comparison between the flu and COVID-19, especially since we have a vaccine for the flu, there are no quarantines for it, and so many people already have built-up immunity.

Countries with medical systems that are ten times more advanced than ours are actually enforcing quarantines, self-isolation, working from home, and all that stuff, but apparently, the Homo Balcanicus knows better. Like, who is going to tell me to stay home? Corona ain't shit. By heading out and messing around just because you think you have some legendary North American lion genes that make you invincible to disease, you're basically risking the life of someone you love—someone who might have a weaker immune system, or is elderly, or, God forbid, just plain unlucky.

Seriously, just download some video games, pay for Netflix, and binge-watch old series (I’ve actually started my seventh rewatch of The Wire, absolute classic), or just focus on your love life. If you still have to work, just get through your shift, hit the grocery store for food, drinks, and basic supplies, and get back. We've got Skype, Discord, Messenger, and all those random social networks to stay in touch with friends and the whole family. Don't be stupid and try to force any kind of basketball games, outings, or whatever else. Just hang in there for another three weeks and that's it. It's not like the virus is just going to vanish, but we'll know more about it, and the healthcare system will hopefully get back on its feet and maybe even build up a little more capacity.

Nobody here is cracking down with police repression just because they have a fetish for playing small-town sheriff. This kind of thing happens in every country for the sake of public safety. Because yeah, sure, let's just let a virus run wild, go out for cookouts and BBQs, and then when we all end up in a hole like the Italians did, we can act like we're in some Vojko V song. I get that there are some angry anti-establishment A.C.A.B. types in here, but please, don't be idiots. All I know is, if one of my friends or family members ends up getting hurt because of some morons who willfully ignore the safety protocols, I would find them and absolutely wreck them. If three lives are lost—a family member, or him, because I hung him from a lamp post—then what am I supposed to do? I'm not going to spend years rotting in prison for that.

Don't screw with me. Jovic couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if he tried, let alone a ball.😵

Casemiro has been one of the main guys for years, yet somehow, like 90% of the bench players are pulling in a bigger paycheck than him.🙏🤣
Good grief, what on earth is going on? At this rate, Jovic could easily cover Kasemiro's entire paycheck.🤣 I honestly can't believe it if this turns out to be true.🐔

Damn, man, just a golfer and a foodie at the top of my list.🤣 I haven't seen any terrain in about a year.🤣 Maybe Flo will give Bart some credit.👍
