I went through the Lincoln Tunnel and decided to skip the interstate altogether. I figured I’d just cut across some hills instead.
Look, restlesssurfer97, I swear to God, I just drove through a place that had exactly one house. One single damn house and a sign telling you where you are. 🤣
Maybe it's just the local municipality. ☕
Man, what am I looking at? 🤣
I think I read somewhere that on average about seven bureaucrats lose their jobs every year, or something along those lines, but hey, don't quote me on that.🤣
By the way, during Plenković’s term, the number of people employed in public administration has grown by several thousand—there are actual figures for it, but I can't be bothered to hunt them down right now—and he was actually bragging himself last year on multiple occasions about how he gave everyone a pay raise of roughly 20% cumulatively since his mandate started.
I think we all still vividly remember that teacher strike, and instead of giving them the $400 million they were asking for, Caesar decided to give everyone a 6% bump instead, which ends up costing about $2 billion annually. Every desk jockey in the government got the exact same raise as the medical professionals.
He also bumped minimum wages up to $4,000 gross, and naturally, that meant raising the mandatory salaries for directors and board members of corporations too.
And now, we're getting hit by Corona.
Everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, knew that America would fall apart during the next crisis, yet instead of finally making some real moves toward reforming healthcare, the pension system, the judiciary, and especially that bloated, oversized administration, Caesar just handed out raises to everybody.
And now he’s going to blame Corona for the system collapsing. He's a useless bureaucrat.

Go ahead, please do. It’s actually quite nice to see people treating themselves for once.
You just don't get it; that money flows right back into the national treasury through public spending, man. We need to defend our way of life, says Zoki—though when he says "our," he clearly means living off the taxpayer's dime, because he wouldn't know any other way of life if it hit him in the face; he's never even heard of it existing.
