It’s a perfectly decent middle ground for those folks.

It just doesn't fit the typical profile of an American center back...☕

Man, looking back at this, I guess you’re right, it was basically all about Robert. That squad was just pure magic, honestly. You had Solano, Bellamy, Robert, and then Shearer leading the charge up front... man, that was just straight-up beautiful football 🙂.

When we were talking about TV shows, did we ever actually cover TWD and that HIMYM finale?

The Walking Dead was a total slap in the face to everyone watching. That's not how you wrap up a season. It was garbage. Honestly, it felt like some random episode dropped in the middle of the season instead of an actual finale. Total joke.

I actually stopped watching HIMYM about a year or a year and a half ago because they just got too annoying. Still, I ended up downloading the final episode just to see how they’d pull it off, and honestly, I hadn't missed much since I quit. The finale was okay, but I can't shake the feeling that the show should have wrapped up a few seasons earlier. They just dragged it out way too long—which is pretty much the standard for most US sitcoms these days.

The Walking Dead essentially wrapped up right after the first season ended.☕

🤣 🙏

I guess this is basically the only way anything involving Thompson actually sounds decent. 😁

It's a classic move here in the States—they just want to squeeze out every last cent of profit possible.

HIMYM was an incredible show until maybe season five, but after that, they totally watered it down, and then they completely botched the end, though I will say the final episode was somewhat decent, not because it was funny—since they basically crammed every single old joke into one episode🙄—but because the actual story made sense for once.

As for TWD, this season managed to scrape by; it wasn't great, and I agree they aren't anywhere near the quality of that first season, but it's still watchable. However, that season finale was hyped up to be this massive, earth-shattering event, and in the end, absolutely nothing happened.

I dropped HIMYM once the lead character devolved into a complete pushover whose entire existence revolved around finding a spouse. They did the exact same thing to Barney, stripping away his edge until he was just another predictable trope... Meanwhile, Marshall was always predictably wholesome from the jump.

Modern Family is far superior, much like Big Bang Theory...

Modern Family 👍 is just... ugh, I can't even deal with how they get things going and then just bail halfway through, you know? It's so frustrating! 👍 Anyway, is anyone actually watching Family Guy? Maybe that's my kind of cartoon instead.

I dropped HIMYM after season 4. It was way too much—just constant, nauseatingly sweet fluff. As for TWD, I bailed halfway through season 3. Every single character was driving me insane, and the writers? Absolute trash. They loved dragging everything out just to kill time. I peeked back at the main plot recently and it’s even worse now. Honestly, thank god I quit; ever since Darabont lost the reins on that show, everything went straight down the drain.☕

Right now I'm watching Banshee🙏. This show has absolutely everything: Amish gangsters, a trans hacker, an albino motherfucker, Russian mobsters, Nazis, Native Americans... and most importantly, plenty of great ass and tits.
The lead guy (some sheriff who’s actually a criminal living under a fake ID) runs into a different faction every episode. One minute he's getting his ass kicked, the next he's hooking up with a woman—and get this, there's a new girl every single time. Game of Thrones feels like a bedtime story compared to the sex scenes in this thing. Every episode is just him dodging bullets or chasing chicks.🙏

What can I even say... nothing really.

The greatest film ever made, I’m telling you, and that’s before I’ve even sat down to watch it...☕
