Paul Martinez73 said:You guys sure have plenty of arguments today 🤣

They're filming your every move, so why wouldn't they film on private property too? And then on the flip side, it's all "I don't want the President following meeeee, ahhh Boone won't let me live!" 🤣

Just pick a side and decide what you actually stand for—is it okay to film everything everywhere, or isn't it? Is it okay to follow people everywhere, or isn't it? Are you for freedom of movement and gathering, or aren't you?

You're struggling so hard 🤣 but honestly, what else can you expect from a bunch of Democrats ☕

Look, anyone can film you when you're out in public.

Cleaned up the act and washed away the sins, so there’s zero drama left here

But does Church property actually count as a public space? 🤔

From what I can tell, that footage was shot on some gravel backroad, or is this guy seriously just driving his car through a church parking lot?

She’s got absolutely no right to just shove a camera in someone's face like that.

So a church is considered a public space now?
Is your own car a public space too?

That's exactly why they blurred out the license plates and faces... because it's not actually legal.

So what’s even the issue here? They were filming right on the street and they followed every single law to a T.

The thing is, he didn't realize he was dealing with a journalist, nor did he expect his face to be blurred out later. You don't just show up, claim you're a reporter, and then act surprised when people aren't okay with being filmed. It’s like if I walked around my neighborhood waving a gun around and then acted shocked when someone tackled me—just because I'm an undercover cop doesn't mean I can ignore basic protocol. You don't film everything without warning, and you definitely don't flash a weapon without notice. You turn the camera on only after explaining the who and the why.

Look, I honestly don't mind being on camera at all. Every single day, hundreds of people end up on the news just by pure coincidence because someone is out there filming a segment or doing an interview and bystanders get caught in the frame.

The real issue here is that those religious extremists held their mass despite all the gathering bans. They clearly didn't want the whole country to witness their disgrace🤷. If it had been a normal Easter Sunday and reporters had shown up to grab quotes, that exact same guy would have happily stepped right up to the camera to talk all about Easter🤷

There are two clips floating around, but the main one is the one where this woman walks right into an empty church to film and then her arm gets caught in the heavy doors.🙂div>

I'm explaining this to you yet again, but you just keep digging your heels in and pushing these ridiculous arguments...

Anyone can film you while you're out on the road or in a public alleyway. But once you're inside your own private car, nobody has the right to record you—not in your house, and not even in church... Yet here you go again, lashing out at everyone and acting like some kind of victim just because you got backed into a corner. Instead of just admitting you messed up, you'd rather play the tough guy. You're honestly no different from the rest of them...

It’s actually pretty interesting to see how some of those #stayhome extremists have started posting photos from Santa Monica lately.

But honestly, I watched the footage myself and the church was totally empty, and I wasn't even reading praise on the news sites, it was actually the complete opposite, just constant reports about scandals and journalists being harassed🤷

I just caught a video from the church 🤣

Is she really hurt that bad? Since we're talking about Yahoo, Babic is probably going to drop a column about the link tomorrow.

The place wasn't full, and it wasn't empty. Either way, if there's a ban on gatherings, people should just follow it. Honestly, both the folks in the church and those idiots over at Yahoo are being just as clueless here. You've got reporters trying to force a confrontation just to manufacture drama and chase clicks. It’s ridiculous. There was no reason to be blocking things up with a car; he could have just filmed from the sidewalk in a public area. He didn't need to sit in his car waving his arms around—he could've just rolled down the window and parked nearby.

As for stepping inside the church? Yeah, no. You can't just wander into a private building when it isn't a public space.

The Church isn't some private club or a backyard gathering; it’s a public institution. If they're still holding services, they're essentially carrying out activities that pose a risk to public safety and fly in the face of current regulations. This isn't something the Church can just tuck away behind "closed doors"—it’s news, plain and simple, and the media really should be reporting on it. Now, maybe this specific situation isn't quite a catastrophe yet, but let's be honest: for far too long, clergy in this country have acted like they're somehow untouchable and exist entirely outside the rules everyone else has to follow.

There were probably a hundred times more people down at Santa Monica, but I guess that doesn't matter to the "journalists" as much as some clown priest and a couple of old ladies—you know how it goes, they just want to stir up a scandal whenever they see a priest acting out, because apparently that's way more important than actual news.

I took a look at the property records, and it turns out that footage was actually shot on private property.

All they really needed to do was snap some decent photos from the outside, let the local authorities know there was a mass going on, and then just put out a public notice about where and when it happened. Everything else is just pure clickbait.
