It seems like you and restlesssurfer97 are the only ones obsessed with this, bringing it up maybe twenty times in the last five pages alone. Honestly, I think they're just idiots—kind of like that guy we saw over at Evian. But I suppose you can't hold a decent debate without relying on a strawman, can you?

Most of the church establishment and the actual believers follow the rules and act appropriately. It's just that certain idiots don't. And those idiots need to be called out right now, especially given how things stand. Period.

Can't argue with that objectivity, honestly☕
You somehow managed to "accidentally" skip over the posts from Henry, Celsus, and Anthony Jackson2... I can't even remember if you used the word "Catholic" against the Pope once.☕

But sure, go ahead and twist my words; you're trying to pin a strawman on me when your own ability to spin things would make Mamara jealous.

He basically ignored the Pope, ignored HBO, ignored his Archbishop, and ultimately ignored the U.S. government. He's the real issue here, not the reporter.

You clearly don't get that the whole red flag here is him listening to his followers from Joe Biden's side.
You haven't even been baptized, man.

It’s not even like the police would overreact... honestly, if it weren't for that whole mess with the reporter, I doubt anyone would have even shown up today.

Well, it looks like our unshakable priest (I assume that’s who he is) has gone and posed with those old-school slogans after all. Why am I not surprised? 🤣

It’s pretty obvious the Holy Spirit descended upon him.

I can smell it on the grass over at the neighbor's place... not like I’m heading out there geared up like a Navy SEAL or anything. I’ve still got some old surplus gear lying around somewhere—camo, boots, a rucksack. I'll just head in there with my phone to snap some photos and then I'll post an update here about what went down.

Look, let's just try to strip away all the noise from the last fifteen pages of this debate and break it down into two basic camps.

On one side, you’ve got people who aren't even questioning it—they know the cop totally screwed up, there's absolutely no excuse for how he acted, and honestly, he’s already been arrested so he'll have to answer for it.

Then you have the other camp, where everyone is basically singing in unison about how the officer was just doing her job honorably and didn't provoke anything at all.

I swear, I keep reading that second take over and over again and it actually drives me crazy because I seriously cannot wrap my head around how anyone could hold that position without being a complete troll.🤣🤣😂🤣

darkseal9 said:Yeah, okay, explain to me what the big deal is about people hanging out at Walmart (I think it was some kind of department store, whatever) versus just twenty people being in a church.

The point is, we aren't some random group of protein-obsessed cliques on an internet forum. We don't get to decide which gatherings are "safe" enough to spread a virus and which aren't. If everyone told him, "Hey, skip Mass," then why the hell did he go? Who does he think he is, ignoring everyone from the Pope down to Božinović? It makes no sense. You can't even invite your family to a funeral if someone passes away because of restrictions, yet this guy thinks he can just show up for service. What kind of twisted logic is that?

Someone please drop a link to the specific law where that slogan is banned, thanks. ☕
From what I can tell, that emblem belongs to a military unit that isn't actually outlawed. If anyone here actually knows of a rule preventing someone from taking a photo like that, let us know.

Where exactly did I use any of that stuff? You guessed it... nowhere. 🙂

So, where exactly is the camp that thinks they actually got what they were asking for? Did a stray cat just wander off with it?

Look, that’s her and Babicev’s crowd, and honestly, I’m on board with that, but that’s not really a faction in this specific debate.

Which of the two sides you mentioned are you actually backing here?

Well, did his own headquarters condemn him? They did. You have the statement from the Bishop of Makarska right there in the link I posted about priests who keep holding Mass because they think they're being "brave" and "smart."
Couldn't she have just called the police, waited for everything to wrap up, and then invited him for an interview to ask why he's doing this?

If everyone said people shouldn't be gathering in parks, why are they doing it? And once the police start handing out tickets and making arrests, the headline will just be: "Police are arresting people and issuing fines, shady Bozinovic and his crew, etc."
So, do you actually want everyone to follow the law and the official guidelines? Because we need to know for the next debate, which is definitely coming.

I bet nasmrkati would say: Muck is hiding behind the bushes while he's out on a yacht with his kids; yeah, that's how it goes, Muck shoving a phone through closed doors to film what's happening. Unprofessional, amateurish. Nothing else...

Well, look, even if I were to strip away three-quarters of my brain and accept your premise—that ZDS and the white field have absolutely nothing to do with the Nazis—I could only bow to the stinginess of Jesus's teachings when seeing someone proudly posing with the symbols of a certain military unit on the holiest of Christian holidays.

It is precisely this dissonance, this gap between the true message of the Gospel and the ethno-nationalist caricature of religion being peddled by the loudest voices in the clergy, that makes much of this whole spectacle so repulsive to me. Aside from a few exceptions, of course.

She should have been filming how the state regulations were being bypassed, rather than just looking for a fight.
What the hell?
It was obvious from the start that they were going to bend the rules just to hold that Mass. And then she goes out and films the whole thing? What kind of blatant provocation is that?
If anyone was looking for a fight, it was the priest and those idiots who showed up to Mass. They were the ones instigating it. The journalist? She wasn't the problem; she was just there to film the whole display of arrogance—this blatant show of people acting like they’re somehow above the law.
