Much appreciated for the information...

It is certainly curious that there were no symptoms present—though, after a bit of digging online, I stumbled upon another topic that brought back some unsettling memories. A few months ago, I experienced two rather strange episodes of pain; it was this sharp, radiating sensation that seemed to "flash" through my entire upper torso, stretching from my chest all the way through to my back. At the time, I naturally assumed it was just a gallbladder attack, given my history with gallstones... but looking back, I didn't have any other accompanying symptoms before or after those moments. Now, I find myself at a complete loss as to how to interpret it all. Perhaps the only logical course of action is to stop obsessing over Google and simply wait for my test results in two weeks—otherwise, I fear the sheer anxiety of it all might actually make me sick...☕

It’s honestly so ridiculous that I won’t even trust these results moving forward. There is no way iron levels jump from 14 to 52 in such a tiny window of time. Even if I had stuffed my face with iron-rich foods, it wouldn't work like that. Plus, I haven't been eating much lately, just drinking a ton of water.
I'll see if I can get my stuff by Monday; if not, I might just swing by a local urgent care for a quick urinalysis—shouldn't be too pricey. I’d wait, but I have a cruise coming up soon and I really don't have time to mess around with this right now.

Lab results can be straight-up wrong sometimes.
My husband went in just for bloodwork, no urine sample involved, yet they handed him results that acted like he’d provided one.
The lab basically just filled in the blanks themselves so nothing would be missing, and then you’re just supposed to blindly trust the rest of the data.

Have you been taking any iron supplements lately?

I haven't taken any iron supplements—not pills, and I haven't been overdoing it with iron-rich foods either. It usually takes people months to see their levels move even with supplements.
As for the bloodwork, that's definitely a screw-up on their end. I just hope they didn't mess up the urine sample too. My red blood cell count is fine, which is the main thing, but what's really bugging me is that I had zero bacteria or yeast issues ten days ago, and now suddenly I'm dealing with a bunch of both. I haven't even had sex since my last checkup, though I have been drinking a ton of rosehip and cranberry tea over these last ten days.

Well, it looks like my urinalysis came back positive for E. coli.
