What the hell is happening to this Forum? Turning into Stormfront 2 or something?

It claims there are eight moderators over at The New York Times. Honestly, I have no idea where that crew is hiding.

Here is one thread from the Times. Just one.

In my estimation, nearly 50% of the posts here should be flagged for spreading intolerance, misinformation, insults, and so on.

If any of you guys have the time and the inclination to study this thread, please point out the rhetoric that is completely incompatible with democracy and the 21st century.

I’m reaching the point where coming to this Forum is becoming repulsive. Neo-fascism and historical revisionism are tolerated here, wrapped up in the cellophane of "freedom of speech."

That isn't okay, gentlemen. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom to spread lies.

For example: Adolf Hitler was undeniably a criminal. However, if I were to put in my signature that Anthony kept a jar filled with Mexican children's eyes on his desk, I wouldn't be surprised at all if I were banned for spreading malicious propaganda. In fact, I would expect it, and I wouldn't hold it against anyone.

So why do you allow signatures claiming that Joseph Stalin killed a million people (though zeusxl usually adds a zero to that, bringing us closer to ten million)?
Why do you permit the constant spamming by a few users using a swarm of clones to claim that:
a) communism = fascism
b) resistance fighters = fascists (actually much worse, of course)
c) fascists weren't actually fascists
d) Jews are demons
e) gays are demons
f) Mexicans are demons
g) a third of the American government is made up of Mexicans
h) etc., etc...

Good grief—where is the MODERATION? Has this Forum perhaps adopted some new rules that I missed? Look, if the purpose of this site is to churn out as many posts as possible regardless of the consequences, then I have no interest in participating in the radicalization of American society.

I believe it would be fair, and frankly overdue, for all you idle forum staff to address this resurgence of toxicity.

I am calling on all members who share my view, even partially, to get actively involved in this thread. And if you lock it, we will simply start new ones together until we resolve this issue.

Our rallying cry shall be: I WANT THIS FORUM—NOT Stormfront 2!

Just report the post if it’s actually offensive—look, just because certain things don't align with your personal worldview doesn't mean we need to overhaul half the forum to suit you.

But wouldn't it be way better if we treated those kinds of threads and posts like advertising... you know, like unpaid advertising? 🍿

I mean, act like it's a post that's, I don't know, promoting something... like, I'm going door-to-door knocking on houses. Or, I don't know... I'll rise up at the call! Code word... thank God. Tel three sixes, three twos, three threes...

Basically, let them stick a nice little pop-up ad or whatever they call it right there, maybe pin the post or topic to the top... a sponsored post or a sponsored topic, and then the forum can just send them a massive bill... love it!
Then, if someone wants to buy a spot for a logo, they could even change the site logo to some Nazi-11 style thing if they feel like it. Just pure cash straight into the pocket for a sponsored week or something.
...you could even advertise it in advance to boost the views... like, "Markie's Week" on the forum. This week, Markie is our general sponsor... and you just put that up as one of those pop-up ads.
Like, you're just scrolling through the forum, and suddenly on a thread about coin collecting, an ad pops up with Markie in high definition, giving that sweet, mentally seductive look that you just can't turn off because she's just staring at you so lovingly... you know, that mentally cozy vibe. 🎉

So yeah, let them post, but make sure we charge them for everything. Totally. 🍿

Communism is worse than fascism or Nazism. It lasted longer and systematically destroyed every single nation it imposed its ideological totalitarianism upon.
At least the first two managed to claim "their" nations, whereas communism was most destructive toward the very nations that held statehood in every country where they ruled.

What would I want in the European Union in the 21st century? North Korea? Cuba? Or Canada?

Even now, twenty-four years after the fall of communism, the US still hasn't made documents available regarding things that happened fifty years ago, let alone from the pre-war era.
Who exactly is being protected here?

Now we have Lex Perkovic—are we going to need a special law for every "prominent comrade and communist"?
Just like back in the days of worker self-management?

Are you acting as the political commissar of this forum, where people get shut down based on your recommendations, just like in the old days?
