I mean, the man is basically the new Chuck Norris...

This actually gave me a good laugh.

At one point, I actually found myself wondering if Liam was meant to be the villainβ€”as if he’d suffered some sort of mental breakdown resulting in a split personality. But even looking at it that way... meh, it doesn't even pass for decent character development.

I was bored out of my mind for most of this movie. Honestly, there was a moment where I almost turned it off, but I pushed through to the end. As soon as I saw the plane interior at the start, I knew right awayβ€”this whole thing is just going to take place inside that cabin. Why? Because it looks cheap.

A bad, dull piece of work. It’s not even worth a real critique. 2.5/10.

I am inclined to agree; I felt the urge to shut the TV off after only thirty minutes. What kind of cinematic nonsense is this, where a General decides to whip people up into a frenzy just to watch them suffer? β˜•

Furthermore, I happened upon a thread where users were clamoring for the characters to turn on himβ€”as if this were some sort of Rambo film. It seems some people are utterly obsessed with the fantasy of a single man beating a hundred others. 🀷

The only redeeming qualities here are those little visual cues with the messages and the way it keeps you on edge. But once the credits roll, you realize how shallow the whole thing actually is. The ending felt incredibly stupid. If they had fixed it so the General was the one actually pulling the strings, it would have been ridiculous, yet somehow it feels even more moronic seeing two random characters crash a plane for no real reason. Just two idiots. 5/10

I'm on board with what most people are saying here. There isn't much more to add since we've seen this all before. It definitely could have been handled better, but Liam Neeson has enough charisma to make it worth the watch.

I finally sat down to watch this movie for the first time today. πŸ™‚

It's a solid action thriller. πŸ‘
