I believe the league kicks off next weekend, and this is actually the first time they are playing on a fall/spring calendar like most other major leagues.
Since I’m still a bit of an amateur when it comes to some things, it might be a pretty modest intro, but even so, it could serve as a decent way to follow the season and discuss it.
What I wanted to ask is if any volunteers would be willing to help me out toward the end by inserting a few images into certain parts of the intro? I’ve never done this here before—just things like stadium shots, logos, flags, etc. Nothing too crazy. If anyone can help, please send me a PM; it would mean a lot, and I think it would result in another interesting topic for the board.

P.S. I should probably start working on the intro and gathering data on teams, rosters, and other stats tomorrow, so I hope to have it all put together by Tuesday or Wednesday.
P.S.2. Please, no calling me out for a lack of creativity in the intro or for lacking flair or whatever. It’s more important to just get things moving from a standstill; the rest will come with time.😁

So, look... I’ve officially closed the thread, but let it sit there for a few days—kind of a cautionary tale for everyone else on how *not* to kick things off. I reached out to Robert Torres, and if he comes back with a "no"... well, I'd actually like you two—darkmarlin16 and Casey White13—to team up and open a new one together. Two reasons for this, really; first, because I'm certain the quality will be exactly where it needs to be, and second... well, neither of you is going to try and play games for your own benefit—you've both already proven you actually have some intellectual integrity left in this place.

So, Morgan Williams reached out to me—said he felt pretty bad about how messy that opening was. Apparently, he was rushing to get the thread live because everyone was breathing down his neck, so... yeah, things went sideways. He actually offered to scrap it and start over with something much cleaner and more polished, but he'll need maybe a week or two to get that ready. Whatever. We aren't going anywhere... we’ve got all the patience in the world.

What kind of "credibility" are we even talking about here? The guy was in a rush and just put together a shorter thread, that's all there is to it. Just give the guy some breathing room to post a proper thread when he actually has the time and leave it at that.
