That’s a fair point, but even with those lower prices, paying that kind of amount for just four small components feels a bit excessive to me.
Besides, I really don't have the energy to mess around with it anymore. To be honest, it doesn't do much for me anyway. My spinal issues are such that even if I were to run a device with double the intensity day and night, I wouldn't feel any relief at all.

I still have a few spares tucked away for now, but since they aren't actually doing me any good, they're just sitting there gathering dust. Regardless, if I find myself needing more, I'll definitely keep an eye on eBay...

P.S. Honestly, my spine is a total wreck... from my top vertebra down to my tailbone, it's just pure misery. 🤦

It wasn't a crash or a slip. Honestly, it feels more like my own genetic code was working against me, though I suppose even God doesn't have the definitive answer to that one.
To put it plainly, there is extensive damage throughout my entire spine. I’m dealing with disc protrusions across seven different segments, affecting both the cervical and thoracic regions. On top of that, I had two separate surgeries for an L5-S1 herniated disc quite some time ago.
In short, it’s a mix of dorsalgia, cervicobrachial syndrome, chronic recurring lumbar sciatica, and several other complications.
The neurological exams show moderate chronic nerve lesions across multiple roots, among other things.
Over time, my posture completely shifted out of alignment, which eventually took a toll on my hips and then my shoulder after a fall.
There is plenty more to get into, but I don't want to derail the conversation.

Hey, I'm thinking about picking up the Beurer Em 80. I was wondering if there's any way to buy replacement rubber electrodes for it, and also if an adapter is available or if it's even possible to use one. Thanks.

I own that device, but I have no idea what kind of rubber electrodes you're talking about.

Thanks for the heads-up, Walter Thomas18. I ended up pulling the trigger on an Iskra TENS unit because it comes with four adhesive pads and four rubber electrodes.
Honestly, those rubber ones are almost impossible to find anywhere else now, since they tend to pull everything high-quality and durable from their lineup
just to get rid of it. You can just wrap them around your foot or arm with a damp cloth and secure them with an elastic bandage.
They basically last forever. Iskra unfortunately phased out their 4-channel models that used those too, so I went
with the 2-channel version strictly for the electrodes. Plus, there was a sale going on. Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive!

I’ve used those standard ones plenty of times and they still work just fine. I'll probably grab some extras on eBay since the prices there are much better.
It's true—everything actually worth having seems to have been discontinued lately (well, maybe not everything). Now, the strategy is to force you into buying replacement parts more often just to pad the manufacturers' profits. That's just how the game is played. Unfortunately.

Hi everyone, does anyone know where I can pick up a TENS unit that doesn't require those constant replacements for the pads? Ideally, I'm looking for one that's rechargeable via a wall outlet rather than relying on disposable batteries. It needs to handle both pain relief and massage, preferably with 4 channels. Thanks!

Beurer Em 41 vs. EM 59?

I used to use a Compex device for TENS therapy to deal with a neck strain, so I'm wondering if Beurer can actually handle the same thing. Unfortunately, Compex is way out of my price range right now...

If anyone who knows their stuff could tell me what specific features I should be looking for...
