I’ve never been one to start a new thread outside of the banned users corner, but I’m making an exception today.
Since my posts regarding the criminal regime in China and
their mercenary, criminal organization currently masquerading as the WHO
have been repeatedly deleted, I honestly don't see the point in participating in a forum that practices such blatant censorship.
Therefore, I am requesting the deactivation of my user profile.

I honestly just don't get people who go around demanding that their profiles be deleted, because if you aren't planning on being part of this community anymore, why not just set an incredibly long, complex password, scribble it down on a scrap of paper, and then simply toss the paper in the trash when you change it?

Consider yourself deactivated 😁

Account deactivation is not an option.

Look, stopping the posts isn't the hard part. Anyone can go silent. The real trick is stirring up all that drama over at CPAC.
It’s just like that old joke: "Oh, he's making me so mad, somebody hold me back before I lay him out."

It isn't just about walking away from the conversation... it's that I have no interest in having my profile associated with a Forum that
effectively backs a bioterrorist state like China—a regime responsible, directly or otherwise, for the destruction of millions of lives
across the globe—nor an organization that aids them by scrubbing posts
that simply call them out by their real names. If people want to call this drama, fine. Let them.

Man, you're totally right. It’s not about stirring up drama for the sake of it. The Forum really needs to get something going regarding China.

Look, my only goal was to make sure posts don't get wiped just because I call people out the way they don't like... I wasn't looking for a crusade.
It’s not even about me or whether I choose to post or not at this point. A ton of people have already walked away before me, fed up with the censorship happening here on this site—the bans, the warnings, the constant deleting. Even the deleting itself is just brutal. Like one user pointed out in the thread below mine, you pour your time and energy into writing something, only for someone to blink and delete it without a second thought. It’s honestly sad that there isn't a real American alternative to this place.

I honestly just don't see the appeal in writing comments like this.
Look at how incredibly chill I am here—calling everyone else out for being drama queens while I sit back, perfectly calm, totally non-dramatic, and definitely not trying my absolute hardest to grab everyone's attention, right?

I’m seriously ready to just deactivate my profile if the mods don't step up and protect me from these girls who act exactly how their bios say they will.

I just want to give my buddy a heads-up on what his little crusade actually looks like to everyone else watching. (Which, by the way, is exactly what this lady is doing to me.)

Exactly—you came at him that way, so don't be surprised when I turn the tables on you. It’s the same logic.

Since my behavior was a mirror image of yours, you have just as much right to demand that the Forum protect its members from you. ☕

In fact, why don't you try using your own experience as a case study? It might give you some insight into whether this kind of attitude actually achieves anything in terms of making someone see reason.

So? Did it work for you? Did you feel enlightened? 🍿

Totally. The thing is, I knew exactly what I was getting into from day one. You knew too—we were both on the same page. Now, the only real question is whether Jason Miller80 actually has a clue what he’s doing. If he does, then great. If he doesn't, someone needs to step up and tell him. But honestly? Someone else can handle that.

Oh, so now we’re playing the "it was just a misunderstanding" card? Fine. Let's be clear: I’ve done the exact same thing I’m accusing the author of—but there is a massive difference. I did it intentionally, with a specific goal in mind, not out of some accidental blunder.
Yeah, right. Like that's ever the case.

Anyway, quit jumping down people's throats and trying to incite the other users on this Forum—it’s tacky.

Personally, I’m actually glad I read his post because now I know exactly how much censorship is happening on this site. I don't think he's being a drama queen; I believe everyone should be allowed to have an opinion—and if they feel like they can't express it, they should be able to demand what they need. We shouldn't all just be sucking up to the Forum owners.

Look, Master... I don't even need you or some official document to tell me how this works. You just type the password into Notepad or whatever text editor you've got open, but without actually hitting save. Just a quick copy-paste of the credentials first...

@stormytiger4
I actually wrote a post about this earlier and ended up deleting it, but fine... I’ll go ahead and repeat myself just to clarify exactly who you think you are compared to someone like me—just an ordinary guy on this forum...
Whatever you say... I'll just sit here and act like I'm "not being dramatic" according to your standards...

Alright, I’m wrapping things up here. This is the final word on the only thread I’ve ever started in my nearly four years on this Forum... and likely the end of my "career" around here, too...
I’m not exactly holding my breath for this request to be granted. But, if I can offer one bit of friendly advice to whoever is in charge of this... maybe look into getting a more reliable, stable server. Just trying to log in right now, and I’ve already been kicked out twice—once with an error saying the site was unavailable, and the second time acting like I hadn't even attempted to sign in... It’s frustrating. I’ve had moments before where I’d finish writing a decent-sized post, hit save, only to have an error pop up and wipe the whole thing out. All that work, gone. I know there are existing threads about this...
They can want all they want, but I’m practically done with this Forum... and honestly, I just don't care anymore.

Nah, I didn't actually do the thing I was calling him out for. He just showed up acting all dramatic, demanding his account be deactivated because he wasn't digging the way some stuff was being moderated. I just stepped in to tell him to chill out. Then you came over telling me to stay out of it. 🙂

Here's another outsider who gets exactly where you're coming from...

Yeah, I feel like I'm losing my mind when I mention in a casual, off-topic chat that China needs to bleed out to clean the mess they made, only to get confused stares, sudden topic changes, and the "top-tier" logic from all the geniuses around me—that everything is actually the fault of the USA.
In those moments, I just want to turn around, grab a beer, tell everyone to go screw themselves, and move to the countryside to raise cows.

Unfortunately, most people don't see it that way—I see it in conversations outside this Forum too. There isn't much we can do at this point... I suppose we're just asking for another situation like this to emerge from China in a few years, only for history to repeat itself.
Over the last few months, I've been following the threads on this. The crowd that's against everything mostly just lashes out at the leadership and the restrictions, which is fine, but the reason this whole mess even exists is because of China. Usually, these discussions just turn into a clash between two groups: the panic-mongers and those who think the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. This tug-of-war has been dragging on for four months now. Hardly anyone actually points the finger at the true culprit or looks at how this entire case started.

There aren't any trolls here; all the threads are open. The only issue is that this guy was trying to lecture me on why I shouldn't "overreact."
My overreacting is nothing compared to the actual scale of this.
So, I'm officially logging off for good.

It seems nobody with any actual authority has bothered to address my requests or concerns. Honestly, all this talk about deleting posts and censorship is secondary. I wasn't trying to cause a scene—as one user so helpfully pointed out when they accused me of being dramatic and demanded proof—nor am I here to complain about it. My decision to leave the Forum has been in the works for a while now... this was just the final straw. What’s the point of even typing anything if a moderator who takes personal offense can just wipe it away?

Anyway, that’s that. As far as I'm concerned, you can keep arguing, but I couldn't care less. You won't be reading anything from me here, or anywhere else on this site, I promise.

You were the one who requested profile deactivation, and you were told clearly that we don't do that.

Like I said before, there isn't really an option to deactivate your profile. Just log out and you're good to go.
