I’ve been dealing with constant burping for a few weeks now—not sure what happened since I started cutting back on meals. It’s especially annoying during workouts because my breathing gets all messed up... I feel like I could burp with almost every breath. Any advice? I’m 14...

Excessive swallowing could stem from a weak lower esophageal sphincter, GERD, or perhaps anxiety... it might also be triggered by certain foods or drinks you're consuming

So, what am I supposed to do here? Any advice on a remedy—or even just someone worth talking to...

It’s entirely possible that a weakened lower esophageal sphincter is being compounded by a hiatal hernia.
Your best move is to contact your primary care physician immediately; they should be able to refer you to a specialist, likely a gastroenterologist, for more comprehensive testing.

Lately, it feels like no matter what I eat or drink, the burping is just relentless. It isn’t even limited to those times when I’ve gone overboard with a massive plate of BBQ and a couple of beers like I used to 🙂

So, I need some advice on how to dial this back. Honestly, it's starting to get on my nerves, and frankly, it's getting annoying for everyone around me too. I’m not looking to start popping random pills left and right... maybe just some digestive enzymes or something tossed in here and there?

What’s your take?

That definitely sounds like it could be pointing toward some stomach issues. If this isn't just a passing thing triggered by something you ate or a temporary condition, it would probably be a smart move to go ahead and consult with a gastroenterologist. Trying to just suppress the symptoms can sometimes allow an underlying issue to spread or get worse without you realizing it.
I actually deal with this myself, though I also have a diagnosed stomach condition.
If you do decide to try managing it on your own for a bit, just please don't let any self-treatment go on for too long!

I’ve been dealing with this stomach issue for a while now, and honestly, it’s getting old. It seems like whenever I have yogurt—though cheese or cream cheese is fine—or greasy deli meats, oily dishes, apple cider vinegar, apple juice, or anything else involving apples, my stomach just rebels. If the food is too oily or acidic, I get this intense pressure in my gut followed by non-stop burping that I just can't control, which obviously annoys everyone around me. I'm wondering if anyone knows what might be causing this or how to actually deal with it. I tried cutting out everything I mentioned, but that’s easier said than done because there's always something on the menu, especially since I can't exactly dodge the fried stuff. Thanks for any help.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention that blue fish triggers it too, though white fish doesn't seem to be an issue.
