Look, I know this isn't exactly on-topic, but I just had to mention the movie The Game ('97)..
It’s honestly one of the absolute best films I’ve ever sat through..
You really need to check it out 👍

I checked out this movie today and honestly, I walked away pretty disappointed. I think I just went in with way too many expectations. The plot felt hollow, and the editing was all over the place—just a bunch of disconnected scenes. It does throw in a few lines about what’s going on in the world right now, both in real life and in the gaming community, but overall, I'd give it a 'Fair.'

This one left a massive impression on me, which is saying something because it’s incredibly rare for a movie to actually blow me away.
I absolutely loved every single bit of it—from the psychedelic atmosphere and the acting to the action, the plot, and that mind-blowing ending. I ended up watching it twice in just two days, and I honestly think it deserves to be back on screens soon. For me, it’s a perfect 10/10.

I'm totally with you. My only gripe is that the ending felt a little too "Hollywood," but everything else was just top-tier.
That singing and dancing at the end (and that part in the middle with the Black actor)—it's just completely out there, totally psychedelic (Dexter is the king!).

Look, let's be real here, people—the actual plot in this movie is on a whole different level!
The atmosphere, the acting... man, the whole presentation is just incredible. It totally pulls you in.

I caught it today and, honestly, it wasn't half bad, though I’ve definitely seen better =)

Caught it the other night. It’s not bad, really. It gives you something to chew on for a bit, though it doesn't quite blow your mind. 7/10 😁

This movie had so much potential to be incredible, if only they’d just handled things a bit differently. 😁

Yeah, let's say the first half is basically the first 45 minutes to an hour (can't remember the exact timing). That part was pretty much perfect, but then they totally blew it.

I have to say, I really struggled to get into this one. I sat through the whole thing, trying my best to stay engaged, but by the end, I was just left feeling disappointed. It felt far too transparent, almost predictable... And honestly, Butler didn't come across as much of a warrior to me; he played more like some moody, romantic bad boy than a seasoned fighter...

It’s a decent enough movie—watched it today! The action is solid and the plot keeps you engaged, though I really feel they could have delved much deeper into a theme like this.

6.5/10 😁

Caught this movie about a week ago or so, and man, what a disaster. It was so mindless I could barely sit through the whole thing... 🙂

Personally, I actually dig it—that whole vision of the future is pretty cool. Just look at Facebook or The Sims... if you ask me, this movie is basically the logical next step for those kinds of games, showing us exactly where we're headed. It sounds wild but totally plausible that in a few years, Facebook will roll out some webcam integration so we can all just stare at each other whenever we want... 😉 and play games like that? 🙂 Tech is definitely heading in that direction! So, I wouldn't say the movie isn't smart—even if it’s not the absolute smartest thing I’ve ever seen...

Plus, the plot is actually pretty interesting, right? It’s unique and really well executed! And the acting is top-tier—Dexter was killer! 😁 hh... and Gerard Butler, obviously! 🙂 Mad respect to the guy! 🙂 All in all, I think it's a great flick. 8.2/10! 🙂

Exactly.👍

I guess the only thing I actually liked was the idea itself.

Exactly. Between gamer and Pandora, I've had my fill of "WTF" movies for the year.

Just finished watching it—honestly, the editing felt pretty jarring compared to Crank, where the pacing actually made sense... The concept itself is interesting, but the execution was a bit clumsy. It took me all three parts just to get through it...🙂 Alison Lohman has a great figure🙂

Look, it's pretty obvious the movie isn't exactly a masterpiece or anything. But honestly, if you weren't spending the entire runtime staring at Alison Lohman's ass, maybe you actually would've enjoyed the plot. Just try watching the damn movie instead of just looking for boobs, man. 🤣
