That is incorrect. Pilence has already received warnings and even bans specifically due to posts made in the on the edge of science subforum.
However, unlike him, Endymion17—along with another PZ moderator—has not faced the same consequences for similar, or perhaps even worse, behavior simply because they hold moderator status in a different subforum.
When Endymion17 was removed from on the edge of science, it was due to posts that would have earned any other user a ban in any subforum.
Holding a moderator position in one area does not grant anyone the right to insult, troll, or spam users in another.
The fact that certain individuals are acting like offended prima donnas, staging protests just because a subforum is named on the edge of science, merely demonstrates their narrow-mindedness and dogmatism. Nothing more.

From our perspective—those interested in the paranormal—argumentation is primarily about presenting ideas without insulting or belittling fellow participants, regardless of their specific beliefs.
Anyone who cannot or will not accept this, and resorts to ad hominem attacks against users, is removed from the forum.
The forum rules define this very clearly.
If the word "science" in a subforum title acts as a red rag to certain individuals, that is their issue, not the forum's. They should ask themselves why a single word causes them such intense pressure.
In any case, if they find it so problematic, they should simply avoid that subforum.
