What kind of tights do you all recommend for the winter? I need them to be really warm (70+ DEN) and durable enough that they won't run just from me looking at them too hard 😁

Personally, I swear by the Victoria's Secret push-up ones in 100 denier. They do a great job lifting everything and smoothing out the stomach, plus since they sit pretty high, they actually keep my kidneys warm. 🙂
I've been wearing them every winter for years and my legs never get cold. They aren't exactly cheap—around $15 or so—but you can definitely get two seasons out of them (unless you let your pet tear them to shreds with their claws, I guess. 🤦)

Personally, I tend to go with the 60-day option, though I also swear by the 100-day control top tights from H&M—they honestly work wonders for me 🙂 because they can actually withstand the constant attention of my four cats and their relentless little hugs wrapped around my legs 😁

What does that even mean? "What a job they're doing for you?" It sounds like someone trying to be clever without actually saying anything at all.

which basically means it’s going to be incredibly tight on me

I usually wear tights, even the thicker ones, and they don't bother me at all.
But lately, I’ve just been sticking to pants and socks. Honestly, I'm just not feeling the skirt vibe right now.

Where can I find some maternity tights? Specifically looking for something thicker than 20 DEN.

I was checking out stores by the Atlantic, but they only carry 20 DEN, so I grabbed a pair at a drugstore today and—ugh—total fail. The quality is honestly trash; they've got those weird horizontal stretch lines all over them, so I'm definitely taking them back.

About a month ago, H&M over on Flower Street had some 70 DEN options, but they’re totally sold out now. All they have left are those basic, thick cotton ones.

Just a heads up if you're looking: the main difference between maternity tights and regular ones is the stretchy waistband and that wide panel designed to cover the belly.

So, I picked up two pairs of 40 denier tights today—one black and one blue—along with two pairs in 100 denier, both black.
I’m actually really happy with them.
My only tip? Go one size up. I grabbed a Medium, even though the packaging says I should be a Small, and they fit perfectly. Personally, I prefer having a bit more fabric so they aren't stretched to the limit—it just feels much more comfortable that way.

Have you maybe thought about trying a low-rise style? I used to grab those thicker, opaque microfiber ones with the low waist from the Victoria's Secret outlet. I actually gave some to a friend once, and they worked perfectly for her through her whole pregnancy.
For years now, I've pretty much exclusively worn those Victoria's Secret microfiber ones—they have different waist heights and everything. They're just high quality, they don't get all worn out quickly, and I can wear them for several seasons. Plus, they only cost $6.75 at the outlet.

You should check out Victoria's Secret in Prague... I really hope they still carry them there... That's where I used to get all of mine!

Does anyone know where I can pick up some colored tights—maybe in red, blue, pink, or yellow? Thanks!

Victoria's Secret always carries those kinds of options. I actually have a pair of their blue ones right now...

Right now, I'm actually wearing something from Tezenis with this sort of blue batik-style pattern

but those aren't the sheer kind, you know? They're more of those thicker, opaque ones rather than thin tights.

Hey girls, I need some advice 😁>

I'm on the hunt for those shaping tights—you know, the ones that actually do something for your figure... I really want them to be thick and sturdy, not those pathetic, thin ones you find at the drugstore 😁
Which brands should I be looking at?
I see people mentioning H&M and Victoria's Secret? Or is there something else out there I should definitely consider instead?
Thanks so much for the help! 😉>

I personally wear Polzela and I’m quite happy with them—they aren't some cheap $20 junk, they are worth much more than that.

If you ask me, I would personally suggest going with Victoria's Secret.

I'm looking for black tights, but not the thick, heavy kind—more like the sheer, see-through ones, if you know what I mean 😬 and does anyone know where I can find some that are actually high quality? I need them to be durable enough so they don't just get those ugly runs the second you pull them on...
