Forum search engine

What is going on with this search tool? I type in Metropolitan Opera and it just spits out five pages of random topics that have absolutely nothing to do with the Metropolitan Opera...😲

Of course you're getting a hundred results; you aren't searching correctly. Use the advanced search feature next time. Just limit the scope to the specific sub-forum you actually care about. If you just type "Metropolitan Opera," it’s going to pull stuff from music, IT, and basically every other corner of the forum. Try using multiple terms, AND/OR/NOT operators, wildcards... I guess you should practice a bit. You wouldn't even go to Google and just type "opera."

Yeah, I'm with the guy. Use an advanced search engine instead.

The search function feels a little clunky... can we get an update on this? It doesn't seem to recognize case sensitivity at all.
