The harsh truth you probably don't want to hear is that everything else on your body will vanish long before that double chin does. That stubborn fat tends to be the very last thing to go, staying put well after the fat from your midsection or thighs has cleared out.

If you're looking for a shortcut, your only real option is seeing a cosmetic surgeon. Honestly, there just aren't any specific exercises designed to target and melt away chin fat.

P.S. Are you absolutely certain that’s just a double chin? It could actually be an enlarged thyroid. You might want to look up some symptoms for hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism online to see if they match what you're feeling. It's possible it's just your thyroid acting up.

If you’re actually out here threatening people—maybe watch what you eat and hit the gym instead.
If it’s a genetic thing or whatever—just go get liposuction or some cosmetic surgery and call it a day.
But if you’re just trolling this forum for kicks—go buy some toys and go play in a different sandbox. 😁

Yes, I have plenty of free time, so I joke around...😠
Why don't you come along, so I'm not bored by myself...😍

Seriously though, you two, go get a room. 😍

But in all seriousness—have you looked into thyroid issues? Are you actually experiencing any symptoms or what?

I have, and I’m definitely feeling some things. If this turns out to be what I think it is, I don't know... regardless, I'll be seeing my doctor next week.😛
There was a segment on CNN yesterday about thyroid health, and it hit home because I recognized quite a few of the issues they mentioned.🙏

Hey everyone, does anyone here have any experience using ultrasound to get rid of a double chin?? Like, what’s the best way to tackle it?? To be honest, I don't even have much body fat to speak of, yet this chin area just appeared out of nowhere and it's driving me crazy:/ I wonder if maybe it could be linked to issues with my stomach, like acid reflux or other digestive stuff??
I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this, I just couldn't seem to find one anywhere..

I’m bringing this thread back up because I’m really hoping some of you actually found success with these chin exercises. If you managed to see some real results, please, let me know how it went?

Also, does hitting the gym regularly—specifically lifting weights—combined with a diet high in protein and healthy fats, make any kind of difference when it comes to getting rid of a double chin???

I’m looking to get rid of my double chin. It’s basically a combination of genetics and being overweight.
My weight issues are currently being managed by the endocrinology department over at Mount Sinai, so that part is under control—but the double chin was there even back when I was thin.
I’m curious to know if anyone here has gone through with liposuction specifically for the submental area, and what your overall experience was like.
I’m also interested in hearing from anyone who opted for non-surgical methods to remove it; if you did, which procedure did you choose and where did you go?
People keep trying to give me those "motivational" speeches about how I'm beautiful just the way I am and don't need to change, but honestly, I already know that myself.
