Does anyone happen to know if there’s an MMA or Jiu-jitsu club over in San Diego?

I think there might be an Alliance BJJ branch around here somewhere

Where can I find some good BJJ training spots in the US, and what kind of pricing should I expect?

I’m particularly curious about www.cro-bjj.com

So, anyone know if Memorial is actually happening this year? Like, any word on where or when...?

If you’re talking about the one held at the YMCA, I think it should be June 3rd, if my memory serves me right. Not 100% confirmed, though.

Yeah, yeah, I'm thinking Matoković's point here..

(Really hoping to run into some familiar faces—honestly, don't even know how else to connect with anyone anymore..)

Thanks!

And if you (or anyone else) have the lowdown on this year's schedule, please—for the love of god—post it here..

Aikido Club 'Source', 'Connection', "Harmony"

Maybe it's a bad move to ask which one is better, but I figured I'd see if anyone here has some firsthand intel to share.

Maybe it’s the wrong way to frame it by asking which one is better, but does anyone have some firsthand intel?

As far as I'm concerned, the only question that actually matters here is which one is closer to my house.

So, I think brisckjackal5 is actually out there right now, training and running the whole show at the club.

Not sure if this has been asked yet, though I suspect not (if it has, drop a link to the answer 😉). I’m looking to get into some recreational kickboxing, ideally in an all-girls group if that’s even a thing. Does anyone know of a club in the US that offers that? I want the lowdown: what’s the cost, how many sessions a week, what’s the vibe of the crew and the trainer? Also, how organized are these places? Is it just endless basic drills, or is there actual progression or levels involved? Just trying to figure out how the whole kickboxing scene actually works.

Basically, I’m looking to take up kickboxing recreationally, ideally in an all-female group if that's even an option. Does anyone know of a club in the States that offers this? I’m curious about the costs, how many sessions per week they run, what the vibe is like with the crew and the coach, and how professional the training actually is—like, do they just stick to the basics, or is there a structured progression or ranking system? I’m pretty new to how kickboxing works.

Honestly, finding something like that is going to be a tall order. There are so few women in the high-quality gyms, and even when you do find them, they usually end up training alongside the guys—mostly because there simply aren't enough female sparring partners to go around!
