I can't stand defensive football. Seriously, I live for pure attacking play—hell, I’d probably run out there with just three defenders if it meant more goals. You look at teams like Milan, FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC, or Manchester United, and they all embrace that offensive mindset. Even Real Madrid goes overboard with it sometimes. But Liverpool? They play purely on defense, brute strength, and whatever noise the crowd makes. They don't have a single creative playmaker on the pitch, and frankly, I can't bring myself to like a squad like that. At least Juventus FC had guys like Zlatan Ibrahimović, Alessandro Del Piero, or Pavel Nedvěd who could pull off something magical when it mattered, but Liverpool has nothing of the sort. That’s why it’s absolute madness that while teams like Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, and Manchester United are objectively better (and way more successful over the long haul), Liverpool keeps sneaking into finals despite playing garbage. If they had actually played beautiful, masterful football, I wouldn't have a leg to stand on, but this? This is a disaster.

You can't lump Milan, FC Barcelona, and Manchester United into the same bucket when it comes to tactics. That one sentence right there really shows how much you're overreaching.

As for Liverpool, I'll give you that—they aren't exactly brilliant. It’s not exactly fun to watch, either. But look, they play defensively, and it’s up to the other teams to find a way to break them down. You're missing the point: there's no "fair" or "unfair" here, and it's not a "disaster." If Chelsea FC or Juventus FC had been better, THEY WOULD HAVE ADVANCED—it's as simple as that. Chelsea FC scored zero goals in 180 minutes.

Personally, I’d be losing my mind too if I didn't know this was just a transition period and that Liverpool will pivot toward a much more attacking style next season.
