I hope so. I really don't want any fallout from this. I missed my pills and only managed to get them around 6:30, so here we are. Dammit.

I completely lost track of when I took my last pill before the break, so now I have no clue when I’m supposed to start the next pack.🤔
Smart move on my part.😁
What should I do? My period is due basically tomorrow, and I have this feeling that tomorrow should be the fourth day of the break, but just to be absolutely sure, does anyone have any advice on how to handle this?😁

You always start with the same day of the week—just remember when you used to begin before, and voilà...

The thing is, I just finished my first two blister packs, so I'm still pretty new to this whole routine. I haven't really found my rhythm yet, and honestly... I don't remember.😁 🙂

Did you notice any clear signs that your period was starting before you actually began taking the pills? Can you remember exactly when your cycle hit right as you started that first blister pack?

No, they were so erratic that I gave up on tracking them because I was constantly getting caught off guard. 🙄
Anyway, I’m digging through my old texts now because I almost certainly told my boyfriend I was officially starting birth control, so we’ll see how it goes... 😁
What if I can't find the info? Is there a way to start the next pack on a specific day and then use backup protection for seven days, or is there some other trick to it? ^^''

EDIT: Found them! Got the texts, got the dates—my next pack starts on December 23rd. 🙂

Last time I was on the pill, my period came on November 6th and lasted until the 11th. Now? Still waiting. It’s been almost a week late, and honestly, it’s starting to get under my skin a little...
In the meantime, I’ve been donating blood—450ml, which isn't exactly nothing—and I've been pretty stressed out over the last two weeks. Could that be why it’s running late, or what...?😕

Anyone else feeling this?

Stick to the same day every week—it’s just easier that way. Since the cycle is exactly 28 days, you’ll always be starting a new pack on that same day... simple enough.

I took a month-long break, and now I'm running behind schedule.

Anyway, what I really want to know is: will there be any issues if I switch from Logest to a different brand of birth control pills? I’ve been on this specific one since the very beginning—three years now—but the thing is, they’re getting pretty pricey. Does anyone know how the prices look for other brands? It would honestly be a huge help if I could find something a bit more budget-friendly. 😬

Hey everyone... I’m just starting out with prescription pills for the very first time in my life, and I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty anxious about it. 🙂 I was prescribed Lindynette 20—which is a brand I've honestly never even heard of—so I was wondering if there are any girls here who actually use them? Did you run into any side effects? Thanks so much!

If anyone happens to know—I’d be really grateful.... For the last four years, I've been on Yasmin, but my gynecologist just switched me over to Yaz, claiming it's "better" due to having fewer hormones and all that. I completely forgot to ask her one thing, though—since I noticed they don't have that standard seven-day break, should I just jump straight onto the Yaz the very next day after finishing my last Yasmin pill? Or should I take a break first? And will my cycle timing change—as in, will my period show up at a different time, or will it stay consistent with how it’s always been? Thanks (I haven't actually bought the new pack yet, so I can't exactly check the fine print in the instructions) ;-)

Thanks so much😉 if I've got this right, I'm starting back up just like Jasmin did—essentially resuming after a seven-day break...

So, I’m currently on my second pack of Yaz—before this, I was on Diane for about three years. After finishing the last dose of Diane, I switched over to Yaz the very next day (following the instructions)... and well, that’s when things started going sideways.

I didn't even get my period until I was on the seventh pack of Yaz, which lasted ten days—and it was actually quite heavy. Now, I've already gone through seven pills from this current pack and still haven't seen any bleeding, even though I have these daily abdominal cramps that feel exactly like my period is right around the corner...

What is going on here? What should I do???

By some stroke of sheer, terrible luck, I ended up having to double up on my pills within a single twenty-four-hour window this month—mostly because I was dealing with a bout of stomach flu that had me losing everything I swallowed within four hours of taking them, so I didn't manage to get the second dose down until about twelve hours later. Consequently, I’ve been taking one pill every day since then to get back on track. My plan is to take the next one on Friday.
So, I’m approaching that scheduled four-day break now (I'm on Yaz)... should I just stick to the usual routine and stay pill-free for those four days, or is there more to it?
I’m feeling a bit disoriented by the whole thing because, frankly, I have no idea how my body is going to react; does it actually matter if I technically missed a beat and one dose was essentially "missing" from the sequence?

Does anyone here happen to have a better handle on the science behind this?

Hey there! Quick question about the 7-day break... did I do this right? I took my last pill on Sunday, then waited seven days and started the next pack on Monday. Or was I actually supposed to start on Sunday? 😢

What’s the deal with everyone acting like they have all the answers lately? — honestly, it’s exhausting. Does anyone actually believe this nonsense? kaže:
Hey, quick question about this 7-day break—did I mess up? If I took my last pill on Sunday and started the next pack on Monday after the 7 days were up, was that right? Or should I have actually started on Sunday? 😢

Seven days of downtime—so you’re starting a new pill, huh? osmi Nice job—I assume you actually know how to count, right?😁

Anyone else dealing with vein issues since starting birth control? How are you all handling it?

Look, it’s totally normal to skip your period for the first few months—two or three at most. Your body basically has to figure out how to deal with new birth control, or any hormonal stuff for that matter.😉

Personally, when I was on Yasmin or Yaz, my periods were super light, short, and painless. But now on Qlair, I've been dealing with long-ass periods for four months now, sometimes lasting until the fifth pill of a new pack.🙄

It's all different for everyone; you just have to adjust. Though, I'm not entirely sure I follow your exact situation.
You mentioned getting your period by the seventh pill of the first pack, which isn't weird at all.
But now you're on day seven of the second pack and haven't had the period you were supposed to get after finishing the first pack?

If that's the case, don't freak out. Give it another month, maybe two, and things should level out. If two months pass and it's still a mess, call your OB-GYN and ask for a different prescription because these clearly aren't working for you.

Just stay consistent with taking them and stop stressing. 😉

You hit the nail right on the head—you understood my dilemma perfectly.

I ended up holding off on calling my doctor—mostly because I’d been reading online that most women deal with brown spotting throughout the month, yet I haven't seen anyone else mention actually missing their period entirely... But honestly? Looking at myself, nothing seems to be changing—no curves developing, no bloating—so I’m not exactly spiraling into a panic just yet.

Thanks for the response! — truly appreciated.

missing your period is super common during those first few months. My OB-GYN told me the same thing, so seriously, don't sweat it😉

Personally, my curves popped out by almost two sizes! 🙂
