Trust me, I know the drill with the lubricants. I had to rely on them constantly while I was on Yasmin, but fortunately, things have returned to being more than fine now.
Once you finish breastfeeding, you'll see if things stabilize on their own. If they don't... well, just go see a gynecologist. Honestly, it's probably the only way to get a real answer.🤷 Good luck!😉

I was taking Yasmin before, about two weeks ago, but now I've switched over to Logest. I’m really hoping this leads to some positive changes, because honestly, I’ve had such a hard time getting into the mood. It’s starting to get a bit frustrating, truly, because I just can't seem to enjoy sex normally. No matter how turned on I get, I stay completely dry down there. 😠 😢

Ugh, quick question. After you finish your last pill, how many days does it usually take before your period actually shows up?

I need help ASAP!

So, I’ve been on Yasmin for three years—did all the tests before starting and everything came back totally fine—but then last month my gynecologist tells me (probably just because she's being paranoid, honestly) that I should switch to Logest. Apparently, that’s just what she tells everyone now. Typical, right?

Anyway, I finished the Yasmin pack and started the Logest after my seven-day break. About five days in, these absolutely brutal headaches kicked in. I figured they’d just pass or whatever, so I didn't stop taking them. I finished the last pill on Sunday, and even though my period arrived yesterday, the nausea and those killer headaches aren't letting up at all. I am officially done with birth control pills for a while, but I'm wondering—should I just tough it out and wait for the headaches to die down on their own, or do I actually need some kind of treatment to get my estrogen levels back to where they should be? Or is it even an estrogen thing? I tried chugging some Cafetene, but it doesn't do squat, and I don't usually get headaches like this.

Look, I actually have the exact opposite situation. I was dealing with those constant, nagging headaches while on Yasmin, but once I switched over to Logest, everything finally settled down. I’m feeling perfectly fine now.
God forbid I actually ask my gynecologist to explain why these headaches are happening, how much of a danger they actually pose, or why on earth I was prescribed Logest of all things... I’ll just end up having to hunt down a brand-new doctor all over again. Honestly, I can't even remember if I've seen any of them more than twice.

Anyone else get discharge before, like, some weird symptom that "predicts" it’s coming? 😳

Finished my last pill yesterday. Honestly never paid attention to these symptoms before—maybe just some grayish discharge once in a while. Last month, I remember having more frequent bathroom trips 😕 and it showed up about 3-4 days early. Anyone else deal with needing to pee more often while on the pill? (No infection or anything)

Now I'm kinda tripping because I messed up around the 4th or 5th pill. I usually take them in the morning, but I missed the evening dose, then took both the next morning plus the current day's pill, and just kept going with the morning routine until the end. Now I'm stressing that I totally screwed up since I'm sexually active all the time 😢

4. damn.

Has anyone ever experienced an aura or some kind of warning sign before a migraine hits? 😳 ?

I finished my last dose yesterday. To be honest, I haven't paid much attention to these symptoms in the past; perhaps there was occasionally some grayish discharge, and if I recall correctly, I experienced frequent urination during the previous month. 😕 It has been three to four days now. For those of you currently on birth control, do you experience any increased urgency or discomfort when urinating? Just to clarify, I am not dealing with any signs of an infection.

I’m feeling a bit anxious because I missed my fourth and fifth pills. I had started taking them by force—I always take them in the morning—but I forgot the evening dose. To compensate, I took both the missed pill and my current morning dose at once, then went back to my regular morning routine for the following days until I finished the pack. Now I'm worried that I messed things up, especially since I have regular intercourse. 😢

How long have you been taking them? Just those two months, or longer?

I am 100% switching my OB-GYN to a guy. Seriously, I actually had to be the one to demand all those preliminary tests before I’d even touch oral contraceptives. And of course—because life is just great like that—I’ve been blowing up her office line for two hours now and she’s nowhere to be found. Absolute joke.

It wasn't like I was dealing with any major issues or anything—maybe just some minor spotting right when I’d start a new cycle. Once, my period decided to show up on a Thursday evening instead of Wednesday, just to keep things interesting, I guess.

The article "Everything about Yasmin" has been published -->

It hardly offers anything of substance, really. ☕

Hey ladies, I could really use some advice here. My metabolism is just totally wonky, so I’ve been taking Tonalin to try and get things back on track somehow. Does anyone know if taking that will mess with how well my birth control pills work?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to reset my cycle back to its usual rhythm after taking a break from my birth control pills. To give you some context, I’ve always been very consistent—starting my first pack on a Thursday and finishing the last pill on a Wednesday, which meant my period would always arrive on Sunday. It worked perfectly for my schedule. However, since the rule is that I have to start the new pack on the very first day of my period (which would be this Sunday), my whole routine is going to get thrown off, and honestly, I really liked the old timing... So, here is what I'm thinking: if I take the first pill this Sunday and go through the entire pack, then immediately start the next one without taking any break days, how should I handle the transition? Should I stop mid-way through the second pack—say, on the first Wednesday (which would be just three days into the new pack)—or should I continue with the second pack almost until the end, meaning until that final Wednesday of the month? I hope I haven't made this way too complicated, but I'm hoping someone can follow my logic and point me in the right direction...

Well, if you ask me, it might be better to just take three pills from that second pack. That way, you'll probably avoid any spotting or breakthrough bleeding along the way.😉
