Have you noticed a major difference between Yasmin and Logest? I actually made the switch to Logest primarily because I was dealing with intense dryness down there. That was my only real side effect (aside from some heavier 🙂), but honestly, it was unbearable. I mean, what’s the point of birth control if you can't even enjoy sex normally?

I made the switch to Logest for that exact reason... everything was great the first month, and I finally started feeling lubricated again...
but now it feels like I'm drying up all over again... and it's actually worse... I'm losing my libido too... whereas with Yasmin, my drive was perfectly fine... 😢
So, look at where I am now...
my breasts have gotten bigger on both sides... 🤷
And on top of that, I've been feeling pretty irritable lately, though I'm not sure if it's the pill or something else...

Has anyone else here dealt with weight gain from birth control?
I was on Yasmin and my weight wouldn't budge from 123 pounds... now I've been on Logest for two months and I'm already up to 132!??!?!
Do you think I could get back to my old weight quickly if I switched back to Yasmin?😢

Help... I stopped taking birth control—I'd been on it for 3 years—and my period showed up after a few days like usual, but now my next one is already 14 days late 😕 I’m actually losing my mind here... even though my friends keep telling me the same thing happened to them. Has this happened to anyone else? 😢

I totally stopped taking my birth control this month and now my period is already six days late. This is driving me absolutely CRAZY!

But get this—my friend was at a concert in Nashville, and her cycle was delayed by a whole two weeks during the break. So... yeah...

Not quite. It’s totally plausible to see a 1–2 kg jump on the scale due to water retention—especially during those first few months on medication—but 4 kg? That’s a stretch. Have you noticed your appetite ramping up lately, or have you been sticking to your usual routine?

To’s perfectly normal for them. Sadly. 😢

My appetite hasn't increased; if anything, it was worse when I was on Yasmin. And I didn't gain a single ounce on Yasmin. I've been on Logest for two months now and I've already gone up four kilos... I'm not even eating anything differently than usual. 😢
For example, I weighed myself the night before yesterday and I was 59 kilos. The next day, I barely ate anything—hardly any food at all. I weigh myself again that evening and I'm 60 kilos. How is that even possible?

Do you work out? And if so, have you noticed the weight change in how your clothes fit, or just on the scale?

It’s in my clothes, and honestly, it’s obvious just looking at myself... even my boyfriend noticed.
I don't exercise..
I have an appointment with my gynecologist today.

Okay, that is honestly so weird. I thought maybe you were hitting the gym hard and just gained some muscle mass, making you weigh more. But if your clothes are fitting differently and you definitely aren't working out, then that’s not it either. Anyway, I'm staying slim today!👍

Hey everyone, please give me some hope here. I finally made the switch from Diane to Logest because Diane absolutely crushed my libido. I’m finishing up my first box of Logest now, and I can actually see some small signs of progress—like, I’m finally experiencing natural lubrication again. 🙂
I’m really curious: has anyone else seen their sex drive return? And more importantly, how long did it take for things to get back to normal?
I realize it’s different for every single person, but please, I need some encouragement. I'm losing my mind because I just can't reach orgasm lately.. 😠

Is there really nobody here with any actual experience? 😢

Once I finally quit taking Yasmin, my libido bounced back in less than half a month. But after that, I didn't actually switch over to any other form of birth control.
Now I've been on Dabronston for a few months and my drive is decent enough, except for the fact that Dabronston isn't meant for contraception.
Good luck! For me, that total lack of libido was honestly just depressing.

As far as I'm concerned, I’d happily ditch the pill too, but then I’d be stuck using condoms, and honestly, I just can't deal with them—they're such a hassle. You’re saying half a month? 🙂That sounds amazing!!!

Anyone know anything about libido? I’m still nursing my two-and-a-half-year-old son. He’s a total force of nature, so breaking the habit hasn't been easy. Because of that, my drive is basically non-existent—bone dry. My OB says it’s totally normal for a woman to feel this way while breastfeeding, but then I look at my friend who’s also nursing and her libido is through the roof. Obviously, this is hitting my sex drive hard. Looking for some actual, smart advice here.😍Just not Viagra.😁

I think you should talk to your gynecologist about switching up your prescription—maybe try a different brand of pills.🤷

I just switched over to the long-acting version, which is why I’m asking if anyone else here made the jump to different tablets and actually felt a noticeable improvement. If you did, how long did it take? I’m really trying to get an idea of how much time I should give it before I start expecting some real results.

I don't know. Maybe there's something to be said for the silence. Everyone's always shouting, isn't it? Trying so hard to be heard, to be seen, to leave some kind of mark on a world that doesn't really care. It's exhausting just watching it happen. Some people think they can find meaning in the noise, but I've lived long enough to know better. You spend your life chasing these grand ideas, these perfect moments, only to realize the wind just blows right through them. It’s all quite hollow if you look at it long enough. But then again, maybe that's the point. Just existing. Moving through the motions without making too much of a fuss. That’s how I see it, anyway. Not that anyone asked. kaže:
I honestly think you should talk to your gynecologist about switching things up. Maybe it’s time for a different prescription—some other pills might actually do the trick.🤷

She mentioned she’s switched up her medication... now she's just sitting there, waiting on the results to roll in.

And why on earth can't you wean him? Just stop breastfeeding. Honestly, two and a half years is more than enough time... if you don't mind me saying.

I know, I know... felt a little awkward even saying it. But it bugs me that I don't know exactly what's causing this. It’s not exactly fun having to constantly rely on lube or some old-school ointment like my grandma would use, especially when I'm a woman in my prime.😍
