I’m struggling to follow your logic here—did you take two tablets in a single day, or did you mistakenly grab the Friday pill today on Thursday? If it's the latter, just take the Thursday tablet tomorrow and consider the matter settled. It really doesn't change anything; those labels are purely for our own convenience to track whether we've missed a dose. Regarding what Daniel Lopez mentioned, I'm not entirely certain how the protocol works for three-phase packs if that's what you're using, but if they are standard pills, there shouldn't be an issue, as the hormone levels remain consistent across them.

So, should I take today's pill AND the Thursday one (which was the one I was actually supposed to take)?

Ugh, I totally wasted my time typing those dates out. 🙄
Look—you took the one labeled Friday today? Fine. Just grab the Thursday one tomorrow since you missed it. Honestly, don't sweat the labels on the packs—they're just there to help you keep track. As long as you get them all in, it doesn't matter which day is printed on the blister pack. It's not rocket science. -.-

I have a few questions on my mind. 😁
I’ve been struggling quite a bit with acne lately, and my dermatologist actually prescribed some birth control pills to help clear things up. I went to see my OB-GYN for an ultrasound, which came back perfectly fine, and now I’m heading back in to get my hormone levels checked. What I’m really wondering about, though, is how these pills actually work within the system? I mean, are there any significant side effects I should be bracing for, and can I actually trust that they'll do what they say and clear up my skin? Also, are there any specific medications out there that I absolutely shouldn't mix with them? I’ll likely pick up the prescription this Friday, and I’m sitting here wondering if I’m supposed to just dive right in that very same day or if there's some sort of protocol. I know my dermatologist will probably walk me through everything, but I couldn't help but ask...
thanks😉

She’s gonna walk you through everything—well, she really ought to. Look, obviously there are side effects, right? But just because they exist doesn't mean you're definitely going to get hit with them. It’s all different for everyone—like how some people can handle a certain medication and others can't. If you feel like they aren't sitting right with you for any reason, just go see your doctor and tell her.

There are certain medications—I don't know the exact names, someone else can fill you in on that—that can "interfere" with the pill. But that doesn't mean you can't take them together; it just means you need to use extra protection on those specific days. Basically, use a condom.

You don't just start popping them the second you get the pack, either. You take that first pill on the very first day of your period, and then you just follow the schedule through the whole box. After that, you take a full 7-day break, and then you start the next pack on the same day of the week you started the first one. So, if you take your last pill on, say, a Monday, you take your 7-day break and then kick off the next pack on the following Tuesday.

cure, trebam pomoć, vezano uz pilule

Imala sam užasan tjedan i cijeli današnji dan sam provela spavajući.

Don't skip it... just continue taking them normally tomorrow.

If I'm switching up my medication, I suppose I might need to take a break first, or maybe that isn't strictly necessary.

Nah. Honestly, your body handles the transition a lot smoother if you just move straight onto the next thing...

That’s how it works for me. I just switched from Diana to Triquilar, and yesterday I stayed on the Triquilar. Now I’m just wondering—will I get my period this month, or does that only happen once I take my first break from the Triquilar?😕

Harold Howard7: Honestly, I’ve been sitting here staring at this screen for twenty minutes just trying to wrap my head around the sheer absurdity of it all. You know that feeling? Where you realize everything you thought was settled is actually just hanging by a thread? It’s like watching a slow-motion car crash on the I-95, only nobody’s getting out of the wreckage because they’re too busy arguing about who should have paid for the gas... anyway, I suppose I digress. But seriously, does anyone else feel like we’re just spinning our wheels in this endless loop of nothingness? It’s exhausting. Just... exhausting... kaže:
So, I finally made the switch from Diana over to Triquilar, and I spent all of yesterday just sticking with Triquilar... now I'm sitting here wondering if I’ll actually see that payout this month, or if I have to wait until I take my first break from Triquilar to get anything at all... 😕

So, after an eight-day break, you're diving straight back in with Triquilar—just like you always do—and starting on that new Diana spreadsheet? ...
Wait, in that case, you’ve already had some bleeding, haven't you? Or maybe I just completely misread the situation...

I didn't express myself very clearly. After my last pill from the Diana pack, I started Triquilar the very next day, which is what my gynecologist advised. So, I haven't had any bleeding yet, and now I'm confused—because I didn't take a break, am I going to "skip" my period this month or what?

That’s really what your doctor told you?? Huh. Well, if that's the case, you might experience some minor spotting in the meantime. But if you just finish the pack as usual, you should still get your regular withdrawal bleeding afterward.
I mean, maybe... it doesn't always happen that you'll bleed while actively taking the pills. It usually only happens when someone skips the placebo week entirely to avoid a period for a trip or something similar. But even then, it isn't a "real" or regular period... just something that happens...

Ah, okay... thanks! That totally confused me, and I completely forgot to ask my doctor about it.

I started taking birth control on the fifth day of my period, which was June 8th, and I just finished this pack today... when should I expect my next period to show up? And does starting it later in the cycle change anything compared to if I had started on day one?

Look, you'll definitely get it during that 7-day break, probably after two or three days have passed...

I'm pretty sure she was talking about Triquilar tablets.

I would be really grateful if someone could help me out. My legs are hurting terribly, and I can't get to sleep because they feel so "heavy." A friend mentioned yesterday that it might be due to fluid retention. My question is: could those two things be connected? I've been taking Logest for about 8 months now, and this is only the second or third time this has happened to me.

Yeah, true. That little pamphlet inside the Logest box actually says if you start dealing with swollen legs, you should definitely check in with your doctor.
