The daughter of a general and one of the most intriguing figures in the local Republican Party just got incredibly candid: ‘There’s simply no excuse for individual corruption!’
She joined the party at eighteen and landed a seat on the local council by twenty-six. Following a recent reelection, she secured her second term representing the San Francisco District 3 area. She has also served on the San Francisco City Council for just as long, having climbed the ranks via the Republican Party list. All things considered, she has firmly established herself as a permanent fixture on the local political stage.

A lawyer by trade, she has spent the last six years working at the municipal parking authority, whose offices—conveniently located for her—sit right on Bošković Street. Since she’s famously fond of her own neighborhood, we didn't want to pull her away from it, so we met for coffee at Starbucks.
It really is quite lovely to have a party membership card; you get a job at a city agency right in front of your house, making actual job competitions feel almost unnecessary.

The old lady handles the press just fine and gives interviews—which proves she can communicate—and if she can't, the reporters at the local rag will surely jump in to do some "good work" instead of just causing a stir.

I live here, after all—this is my second home😍 which is finally being scrubbed clean of its filth.

So what, is she supposed to be smoking? We all know she didn't buy her own cigarettes. Note well, I already said that was a fair point, but this dodging is honestly fascinating. Are you seriously so naive that you think some old woman haggling over pennies is the perfect example of cleaning up a city? Congrats.

Zachary Anderson20 said:Finding excuses for trash? Have you even looked at my past posts? You need half a brain to realize what's going on here. Let me break it down for you—I make fun of things because nobody around here will say a damn word about who is constantly running their mouth or what kind of benefit the City gets from it. Instead, everyone wants to dwell on some sad, ugly story about an old lady, because, let’s be real, the unnamed US person is right. It's ugly and it's depressing, but they're right. They're still trying to take over the unnamed US labor union or whatever. Just leave the woman alone.

Yeah, you've got a point there. Since he clearly lacks any sense of humor, he could probably pick a different topic if he actually wanted to mock the administration.

But you're the one using her just so you can obsess over the mayor. And everyone else follows suit with "leave her alone" and "save the poor soul."

And it's not even true that there wasn't talk about him cutting back on travel.

Corruption is just corruption, regardless of where it originates—everything else is just a convenient excuse for theft, cronyism, or general misconduct.

Zachary Anderson20 said:Okay, hold on. If we're all just mindless San Franciscans who only care about seeing a well-dressed wife and complimenting her, then what are you even doing here? Isn't it telling that you cherry-picked one totally irrelevant sentence? Sure, I predict Dr. Prolic did a fine job—not that anyone here actually knows what the American Association of University Women does or even realizes they're sitting right here, right? (I've already asked!)—but at least she looks good. I'm not even going to bother explaining the rest because, based on your post, you clearly don't give a damn about her political platform; you're just stuck on my comment about her appearance.
And yeah, even over at the local news, they went way too hard on the old lady. Tell me, do you have her medical records handy so you can decide if she's eligible for assistance? Or are we going to act like some local billionaire's sister who "just didn't maintain good neighborly relations"? Seriously, is this woman such a massive thief and crook that we should be using her as a role model?

Look, if the Republican Party wasn't constantly dragging every little thing through the news every two days, who would even care about this woman or her issues? Maybe a couple of neighbors at most. She’d just be one more "anonymous" person being told to vacate a space they're illegally occupying while failing to pay even the tiny amount of rent required by law.
Honestly, let's be real—who would even mention her name if we didn't have this huge media circus fueled by obsessed Republican partisans?

Oh, obviously. Let me put it this way—the current administration basically went public using this woman's personal info. It started as some annoyance from a local guy and now it's full-blown harassment. Plus, it's getting old here too. Look, I don't agree with feralpilot0 that I should be celebrating mocking some sick elderly woman or counting her cigarettes. She's got rights and she needs to move on. But calling this "cleaning up the trash" is just ridiculous. I'm way more interested in the travel expenses because whether we paid for them ourselves (which was a huge amount, by the way) or an organizer did, someone is pocketing a nice daily stipend. Why? Because she's become a political distraction. She's just dead weight at the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah, I already said that. Like, wtf? Look, I think the lady is a decent human being, and if there's a fundraiser, I'll chip in a few bucks because she's old and sick, but this whole thing is just getting exhausting.

What really gets me is seeing those Republican Party bots rushing to defend Mara, even though she openly admitted that her apartment connection goes back to Stipe Mason. And we all know how the GOP crowd actually feels about him...

It’s also pretty frustrating to see someone like Tomić acting as a shield for a local official who's been draining the city coffers for the last six years. We know exactly what his typical take is on people like that...

The whole thing is being pushed by the local news outlets, which have been obsessively churning out crime stories about Mara from the jump just to manufacture this whole "Mara situation." It's all wrapped up in this fake concern for an elderly woman, but it's clearly just a political hit job intended to punish Puljko for not playing ball with the usual suspects and to stay in the good graces of the GOP loyalists. It’s quite a clever setup... 😉

A lot of the truth comes to light when you look at the narrative surrounding the supposedly helpless Mara...

Do you honestly think a major paper like that would go under without money from the Mayor's office, or does it even matter that much? Look, that outlet is basically owned by a massive conglomerate, so you don't even need to waste your breath, but they do have a few decent journalists worth quoting. Honestly, at least in my book, the coverage isn't great, and Tomić is just talking out of his ass. If you're so fired up about this grandma story, why aren't you yelling about the total shake-up at the local municipal utility? Or how the director, who was literally part of that Centrist party until yesterday, completely screwed everything up? Or maybe how long-time locals are ditching our favorite public park because the local activist group turned into a political mouthpiece? Or how they selectively ignore things that couldn't possibly be protests—I mean, since when can a protest last seven months straight? I'm done.

Let me add my two cents regarding Magic Piano Preschool and that shady business they're running by playing on parents' fears about childcare. If you ask me, people are pushing back because they’re genuinely stressed about where their kids are going to go, especially since there's a massive shortage of preschool spots and plenty of kids are being left without any care at all. It’s obvious they’re aiming for the Governor, because ensuring kids have access to preschool is exactly what the Governor's job is supposed to be.

The City of San Francisco is paying out $46,800 a month to the owner of Magic Piano Preschool! While her revenues are in the millions, parents are apparently looking to the Governor's office for a lifeline.

Just to recap, the founder and owner of the preschool, Virginia Mudric, rents two spaces totaling 663 square meters $4705. Under the new terms, she would be expected to pay $15054 for those premises. This higher amount was actually what was agreed upon during the initial bidding process when she secured the space, but the previous city administration decided to step in and adjust the price—downward, of course.

"Magic Piano Preschool" is a private facility, though the City of San Francisco provides subsidies for the children attending it.

- The City of San Francisco subsidizes childcare at 22 different private and religious preschools within its jurisdiction, including Magic Piano Preschool. The level of subsidy depends on the specific type and duration of the program the child is enrolled in.

For this particular Magic Piano Preschool located in the Sailor neighborhood, the monthly subsidies for 180 children amount to approximately $46,800—according to a response we received from the Governor's office.

According to available data from FIN, Magic Piano Preschool employed 157 staff members on an hourly basis in 2021, which represents a slight decrease of 4.27 percent compared to the previous year.

Total revenues for 2021 reached 3.71 million dollars, marking a 4.24 percent increase over the prior year. In 2021, the business reported a net profit of $871,655.

The EBIT for 2021 stood at 1.09 million dollars, while the EBITDA for the same period was 1.30 million dollars.

Who's actually enjoying seeing an old woman hounded like this? There are dozens of linked articles about her, all seemingly sponsored by the group trying to Sell San Francisco—all while the City legally and rightfully questions how she even ended up in that apartment?

Secondly, drawing parallels to an official business trip—where you have no idea who is footing the bill, though the per diem will be paid according to US Law and regulations—is nothing more than obsessing over someone else's business.

How can anyone honestly claim they don't know who's footing the bill? Seriously, explain that to me like I'm five. Justin Trudeau is a public servant, which means we’re the ones paying his salary. We have every right to know exactly where our tax dollars are going!

Petranovic really exposed the truth about agitator No. 3.

Let's take a look at Virginia Mudric's political machine. Their specialty? Using kids as leverage. 😉

TUESDAY: Preschool

Bit by bit, the situation surrounding one of those private preschools in San Francisco is unfolding exactly as expected. Once the Governor's office discovered they had been receiving an illegal discount on their municipal rent, they offered a new contract based on the original, fair terms. Instead of complying, the owner incited the parents to launch an offensive—which is essentially a blatant attempt at extortion.

She stays relatively quiet herself, which isn't surprising: either she lets others do her dirty work, or she avoids the spotlight to prevent people from noticing that she pulls in millions in profit every year—over a million dollars in 2021 alone, for instance.

And remember, we're talking about a private preschool operating out of public, city-owned property.

We still don't have a logical explanation for this farce. It’s simply a fifteen-year-old pattern of freeloading off public assets, a practice established back when local entrepreneurs were running the city in coalition with the Republican Party, and it just kept rolling along due to momentum.

It’s a common theme here: a "private" initiative only succeeds if it’s built on the back of the community—whether it's through hunting, land, or whatever else is shared.

Also, the Sold party uncovered some interesting numbers. Virginia receives about $550,000 annually from the city. In older currency, that would be roughly $4 million.
But it's hard for them to pay a reasonable price for the space they occupy. ☕

The City of San Francisco pays the owners of Magic Piano Preschool $46,800 every single month! Her revenues are in the millions, yet the parents are looking to the Governor's office for salvation.

What a bottom-of-the-barrel woman. I honestly hope she folds so the parents can actually find a replacement. I can feel people panicking, and this nasty lady is totally playing that card.

No, wait... Virginia Mudric is a player who plays for keeps.

To pay her back, the Republican Party will probably just fund a new preschool in one of "their" small towns or municipalities.

The real question is how this millionaire socialite plans to walk through San Francisco with any sense of dignity after this... It’s honestly shameful.

Virnin MO in an area where the Republican Party doesn't hold power— Magic piano leaving Sinj!? Bulj: We won't be blackmailed!

If she starts folding under pressure, they’re going to take a massive hit.

The goat knows exactly how to pull their strings.
That high-end rancher out by Meja already slashed her rent, and then had the nerve to throw in a subsidy on top of it.

It’s all just nonsense; she can open preschools wherever she damn well pleases... meanwhile, let Puljak take out a loan for, say, $2.5 million—which is basically what it would cost to cover those subsidies alone over five years. I’m pretty sure you could build at least 1,000 square feet of a new preschool with that kind of cash, which should be plenty to house all these kids.

It’s funny how no one seems to care that the Mayor of Miami has the exact same number of travel itineraries in 2022—even though his city budget is a tiny fraction of San Francisco's.

As for what they're for? International municipal cooperation. Unless you have actual proof that he’s just wandering through shopping malls in Seoul to run up a government credit card, I'd suggest looking at the bigger picture.

God, you are exhausting. Are we even talking about the mayor of Sarasota anymore? Because I don't care, and I definitely don't follow him. But if you're going to be like that, maybe I should ask someone at the local news station if they've actually seen any results from all this nonsense. And again—NO—I never claimed he was just hitting up shopping malls, but let's look at the facts: there are way more trips being taken than there are people actually benefiting, and out of all those ten or so expensive junkets you guys paid for, I haven't seen a single shred of evidence that this "international cooperation" thing actually accomplished anything.

Why don't you just bring that question to your local county commissioner at the next council meeting? I don't see the issue there.
Or better yet, demand his credit card statements so we can collectively count whether he’s been ordering wine or just sticking to sparkling water with lunch. Since he isn't out spending money at brothels like some sort of degenerate, anyway.🙂

Doesn't look like it will happen. It would be a huge blow to the Mayor if a leech like this actually managed to blackmail him.

PRESSURE: The State won't back down from the legal solution

They need to explain the whole situation to the parents regarding this greedy corporation. Maybe they can go protest outside her other daycare in San Francisco or show up right at her doorstep. I bet she owns property out in the suburbs too. 🤣
