Just shut up. They should slap him with a hundred-thousand-dollar fine and see how that hits his ego... 😉

Liking a thread titled: Eric Adams - Mayor "of Pyongyang"
I just saw this...

Check out these wild claims:
"When you empty the city of its people, community groups, local political parties, antique shops, and preschools, while simultaneously clearing out apartments held by veterans."

They seem to forget that Eric Adams isn't actually forcing anyone out; he's just insisting that these spaces pay actual market rates instead of getting a massive discount

written by Vice (shortened version)

He’s completely tone-deaf to social issues!!!
#children #veterans #books #politicalparties

And the hypocrisy is unreal; he preaches about following the letter of the law, but the second he’s the one facing consequences, he starts playing the victim and begging for sympathy!!!

The Republican Party basically rebranded following public bidding processes and honoring contracts as "emptying the city."🙏

That's the "Modern Times," European-style Biden's Republican Party for you.

Once he leaves Vegas, I’d love to see which cozy government gig Vice lands...

In the trash. Maybe if he works alongside Eric Adams, they might actually start acting smart for once.

I really want to know who came up with this penalty; it was clearly calculated and planned out

They’re getting hit from every single angle. The Adam Zorcs need to step up and defend themselves

Honestly, they should just slap him with a random $100k fine and see how much that bruises his ego. 😉

I’m loving this thread title: "San Francisco Mayor – Ruler of 'North Korean government'"
Just saw this a second ago.
🤣
'Man, I love how they talk trash about people, but I guess cows don't fly.' So, calling a city of revolution a dictatorship run by the North Korean government? What a brilliant analogy.

Is there any way to set up an online fundraiser?
You younger folks can whip that up in five minutes with two clicks of a mouse, but why can't I just ask people for a couple bucks without needing
some political heavyweights backing me up?

If I can go watch the Dodgers every weekend, or grab a coffee every single day, why can't I do this?

I feel for my fellow citizens, and I know this isn't just happening to me—it happens every single day to people who aren't part of the Republican Party octopus.

Also, I see the Department of Inspections' decision as an unprecedented precedent and a blatant attempt to pressure us out of politics. But it won't work, because we aren't afraid of anyone, not even them or their fines. They won't destroy us; America isn't, and never will be, anyone's playground.

At today's press conference, I laid out the timeline regarding the water and hydrant line work near the Rose Bowl area. I showed documentation proving that I am not responsible for the issue that led the Department of Inspections to fine me $15,000.

I'm calling on the Department of Inspections and the Building Inspection Department to urgently overturn this decision. If they don't, no mayor will be able to take office knowing they could be fined for mistakes made by predecessors that weren't even their fault. I’m also asking them to disclose how many similar fines have been issued and how many officials had to pay them out of their own pockets instead of using city or county budgets.

I guess this really will be a unique precedent, though I think it could easily be overturned in court, which will probably happen.

The Republican Party knows exactly what they are doing.

This penalty is just something they'll dangle over everyone's heads until the election.

They know the court will strike it down, but the ruling won't come until after the polls close; by then, those corrupt hacks won't care about the consequences.

They are playing an all-or-nothing game in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.

Vice President's Resume

Studied economics for 7 years - jump - Tax Inspector - jump - Director of Leclerc - jump - Head of the utility company - jump - Cabinet Minister (+ a PhD?)

The textbook career path of a true Republican.🙂

You see how meticulous he is with his work.
I managed to wrap up my degree in five years, while he took a leisurely seven to do everything perfectly... I guess that’s why he’s the director and I’m just some random analyst.

Ugh, from what I can see, there are tons of women who finished teaching credentials and competencies, played the game perfectly with the GOP, and now they're all coasting through public schools. That was all Schwarzenegger's doing back then. And you, Zachary Anderson20, go ahead and try to get those credits transferred—one MEng holder is already out there crushing it on her own. But Al Kljak? You can't put a price on freedom.

The Republican deputy Marsha Blackburn studied psychology instead of doing the usual 4 to 8 years, and now she’s running the local Post Office. It’s always the straight-A students and the directors.

Vic is totally out of line regarding these two. 😁

This is wild: ‘The Puljko Inspectorate slapped $33 fines on him for work he wasn't even responsible for. Meanwhile, that Republican County Executive got caught three times and never faced a single penalty.’
Interesting take from John McCain, the Councilman from the Center

They aren't interested in targeting anyone particularly intelligent.

The demographic that suits them consists of the corrupt, the mediocre, or those who simply feign ignorance.

Those are the people who will fold and applaud these foolish, crooked maneuvers by Kremenko Mikulić and the Republican Party.

'I don't care what they say about people, I just wish cows could fly.' Calling a city a revolutionary hub or comparing it to a North Korean government dictatorship... quite the analogy.

You missed the point on the previous page, but... fine. I'll spell it out.

If you ask me, he’s easily the most level-headed person in politics right now. He just has nerves of steel.
He doesn't deal in all that loud-mouthed shouting or empty theatrics; instead, he takes on the Republican Party's nonsense in a way that's calm, steady, and incredibly effective. Honestly, I think his composure even gets under his opponents' skin because they can't seem to rattle him no matter how hard they try.
I hope my assessment isn't totally off base.🤣

Fine—they’re doing what they can, basically preaching to their own choir to justify themselves, while they figure out how to sideline everyone else later. Not sure how effective it is, though—preaching to the converted is easy when you already have them in your pocket.

I've been watching him closely for ten years now, and he hasn't changed a bit.
