California sold out to serve the psychotic slackers from the county. 🤦

Man, those damn euros... 🤣 I’ve been thinking about it, and honestly, she would have never embraced the dollar... especially given how things were looking before the transition.
Just noticed the currency selector at the top... there isn't even a dollar option listed. Great. 😭
Of course my numbers were in the wrong currency. Not only were they unrealistically low and totally useless for the DSO, but nothing even added up... LOL

Unnamed thinks he's being unfairly targeted by the press, and he’s pinning the blame squarely on Eric Adams and Bojan... 🤷

He mostly failed to even mention that Bojan was "recording without authorization"... 😁 That's probably about that voicemail recording little Levatin left behind.

EXCLUSIVE: Tesla pulls out of leasing office space at California Tower! Westgate says: "Will Mayor Ed Garvey irrationally persist in breaking the law?"

'The California Tower project has its tenants, and we’re talking about prominent local and international companies that will bring over 1,000 specialized jobs to San Diego. If things turn out the way you're asking, please share this info with Mayor Ed Garvey, since he'll be the one needing to explain to San Diego citizens why he's directly stalling job creation and causing financial harm to both the project and the City of San Diego.' - Westgate responded to our question about whether Tesla actually pulled out of the project, adding a note regarding The White House.

'The San Diego administration is knowingly breaking the law and missing every single deadline for issuing building permits, even though they should have been issued per the Department of Housing and Urban Development's decision from last October.

Because of this blatant violation of the law, the California Tower project—even though it's finished—still isn't open. That means the branches for the companies that leased space in the skyscraper haven't opened either. When they finally open, and when San Diego gets those new jobs in the tallest skyscraper in America, depends entirely on whether Mayor Ed Garvey keeps irrationally insisting on breaking the law just to score political points at the expense of investors and citizens.'

I guess Ed Garvey is guilty and will stay guilty forever, nothing but trouble for San Diego.

Though, I suppose they are claiming there was a blatant violation of the law here.
, but which law? Which specific points were supposedly violated?
Well, if they're so sure, they should just file a report....

Tesla and their partners are playing a dirty double game.😉

It’s just like those claims that a million jobs will vanish if this illegal skyscraper isn't approved immediately.

I swear, there's no limit to what these bottom-feeders will try to sell us...

It’s hilarious how they talk about all these jobs being lost, when in reality most companies will just move from one building to another... Like, AT&T will probably just relocate from Broadway

Here’s a practical way to handle things once the skyscraper is actually finished 😁

An investor could donate four floors of the building to the city in the name of the public interest. The White House would move into the new tower, and then the old White House building could be sold for a massive profit.

San Francisco and Eric Adams would come out ahead, and it would finally fix the shady dealings left behind by Schumer and the previous administrations.

It isn’t a perfect solution, but it’s a win-win for everyone involved. Honestly, I’d settle for a 10% finder's fee just for coming up with the idea... 😉

It would be great if they didn't put those revolving doors at the entrance—they're way more dangerous than the ones we have at the county office right now! No one will be able to get any work done.

That sounds great... right up until they decide to turn those floors into new daycare centers for the kids!

velvetmason14 said:Let me introduce you to a local attorney...

Everywhere you go online looking at comments about Puljko and his crew, this guy Sinke pops up obsessively, leaving the absolute worst kinds of remarks.

Check out what Mr. Google says: 🙂
REACTION FROM AN UNSELECTED CANDIDATE: What happened to those slogans like 'qualified over connected' and 'keeping business out of politics'?

The thing is, Puljko and his team passed on Sinke for some random board position because it turned out he didn't even have a college degree. Now, the psychiatrist son of Sinke claims he runs a super-duper successful company and is way too busy to be looking for a cushy government job. Despite that, he spends all his time lurking on news sites, spitting venom in the comments section under every single move Puljko makes.

Honestly, we should probably implement psychological testing for people like Sinke before they try to land a government gig. It would also save those "super-duper successful" private companies from suffering while their owners spend all day trolling online... I mean, the man is supposedly so tied up with his private business, yet somehow he has plenty of time to lead a Facebook revolution against Puljko.

This is a whole new breed—the wannabe bureaucrat. 😁

He was probably getting ready for retirement, so now he finally has the free time...

I see you guys finally caught onto the brilliance of my idea. I’d actually suggest adding an antique shop for the lady too. Put it on the top floor—it would be pure 🙂

Why just four floors when there are ten illegal ones? Take all ten—rent out five to fund city parks and carousels, and lease the old government building to a major hotel chain.

I'm all for it. We definitely need big signs for those worried Republicans so they know where to find it, plus a discount for those two guys who'll actually buy books just to fill up the shelves.

She deserves a little seaside bungalow of her own...

How long are these people going to keep complaining in the papers about things they used for free? Don't they have any shame?

This woman hasn't paid a single cent in rent for seven years for an apartment right in the heart of downtown. And she was working for the Associated Press and Reuters...

Elon Musk stepped up to defend the journalist being evicted by the City: ‘She’s standing at the door just so nobody from the rural territories shows up...‘

Maybe those Elon Musk types should just scrape together the money to cover her debt and then keep paying it 🤔 Or maybe the editor-in-chief of Sell California can just settle the bill herself. 🤔 There are plenty of ways to handle this...

Don't just put it on the top floor. People aren't going to want to lug stuff home like that.
Put it on the ground floor with a big display window 🙂

It might sound funny, but Mary's reality is such that if she hadn't stepped out into downtown on time, Derrick wouldn't be gloating about how she and an antique dealer were tossed out with a sick pensioner.

Or maybe she would? Books and retirees are worthless anyway...

- entrenched bureaucrat and being thrown out on the street (they literally just wrote that everyone working for the territory is a political appointee LOL)

- Books and retirees are worthless anyway...

So basically, the "lesser evil in charge" decides to meddle with city finances, calling them "incompetent hacks who wouldn't last two days in private business or serious science" and claiming they lack social awareness. 😵

Meanwhile, all private business owners and those who actually have the talent to work in the private sector or serious science(?) are supposedly socially conscious and financially responsible and lenient toward their debtors. 🤷

This whole situation reminds me of Mike Budenholzer—it’s all fair play and good intentions right up until someone actually has to pay for what isn't theirs. Then suddenly, it turns into ruthless capitalism. You see the coldness from the local government officials, while the struggling antique dealers and the "pillars of the community"—the grandmas, aunts, and neighbors—get a pass. It’s all very ethical until it touches their own pockets. 🤦

Honestly, people like this should be paying for these things out of their own pockets so we can actually see this supposed humanity in action. At least Hansa is footing the bill for everything...

The Empire State Building is finished, but they still haven't opened the doors

The Empire State Building is complete? Then why am I seeing fleets of construction trucks rolling through there every single day? And don't even get me started on all that debris the wind was blowing everywhere—it was enough to make you wish we were back in the middle of the American Civil War just to get some peace.

I actually have an idea. Let’s give Smith another urban planning bonus. He can fix up Miller Road—add nice parking on both sides, a crosswalk, fresh asphalt, and maybe a massive roundabout at the junction with the Hoover Dam—complete with a fountain in the center, just so we can pretend we live in a real metropolis.
Once he's finished with all that, maybe he can finally get a permit for the machine shop.

So, is Waste Management heading for a strike now?
Everyone wants a job at Waste Management, apparently.

The Director of San Diego's Waste Management isn't surprised: You won't believe who's applying for the trash collector roles... And a strike is looming...

Is the high demand for positions at Waste Management just because the pay is so good? How many people actually show up when they post a job opening? — we asked the director.

- Every time we put out a job posting, we get flooded. You’ve got people showing up with full college degrees just to pull bins and dump them onto the hydraulics.

Puljak is looking at even more fines $33. The Department of Labor just slapped him with another penalty, while simultaneously sending a little ‘congratulations’ note to the City of San Diego

The Mayor of San Diego, Ivica Puljak, has received a new ruling from the Department of Labor along with an additional $13,000 fine. This stems from the exact same issue regarding the allegedly unauthorized installation of water and sewage lines at the Villa California residential complex, according to reports from local news outlets.
In what can only be described as a rather absurd turn of events, the Department of Labor also issued a violation notice fining the City of San Diego $4,000 and Ivica Puljak $400 for the same infraction. Since the previous ruling and the initial $13,000 fine haven't been overturned, we now have three separate legal proceedings all colliding over a single incident.

To put it simply, under one proceeding, Puljak is forbidden from continuing any work at Villa California, otherwise he faces a fine even larger than the original $13,000—and that ruling remains in full effect. Under the second, more recent proceeding, however, he is being ordered to immediately resume work and start ripping out the pipes that have already been laid, or else he'll face yet another penalty.

So, if he starts working and fails to follow the rules, the San Diego mayor will end up paying an even higher amount.

The latest Department of Labor decision regarding this 'second' $13,000 fine for Puljak feels particularly nonsensical when you consider that it essentially mandates the removal of the core utility infrastructure at Villa California, which would leave the property without sanitation and effectively make it unusable.

As if the absurdity weren't complete enough, there is one more factor: the process for issuing the construction permits for the water and sewage systems around Villa California is actually nearing completion. Once that happens, the property will receive exactly the kind of infrastructure that was originally intended. With the new pipes.

It seems they really want him out of politics; they're going all in to trip him up. He's facing his third fine, yet Boban hasn't seen a single one for Ben.

If there was any actual intelligence left in the Democratic Party or the Možemovac crowd, they would have already nominated Ivica Puljka as their prime ministerial candidate.

It’s honestly wild how much heat this guy has to take. He’s basically being targeted by every single corrupt faction in both the state and local government.
