Goodness, look at this comment section... 🙄
Ignoring people, starting fights, spreading intolerance... is that really what you all consider positive? 🤦

"I'd much rather spend a thousand days negotiating than a single day at war!" Don't you see the wisdom in those words, especially given everything happening over in Ukraine?

And since Viktor Orbán happened to be nearby on vacation within our borders... why on earth wouldn't anyone seize the chance to meet with him, even just informally? I mean, honestly, if Kim Jong-un showed up, how much damage could a few hours of conversation over an informal dinner actually do?

Are we really so bellicose and eager for conflict—and all sorts of other nonsense—that we should just wait until we're all looking at each other from beyond the grave?

Exactly. Kim Jong-un, Viktor Orbán, Woody Woodpecker, Vladimir Putin, and Alexander Lukashenko—that's the benchmark for this fake "sovereignty" nonsense used by both the left and the right, and every Joe Biden or whatever else you want to throw at them.

Exactly—that’s why you see the entire European Union constantly playing phone tag with Vladimir Putin and his little minions...

Precisely, because they’re all essentially engaged in the same friendly, informal little game of rubbing each other the right way...

I wonder if you felt the same way back when all those high-level bureaucrats and globalist types were basically letting Putin walk right through our front door?

Look, if you're implying that Donald Trump and this administration—whose entire foreign policy seems to rely on that "brotherly bond" nonsense between Americans and Canadians (though we know better than to trust a fake handshake)—are my choice, you've got it wrong. I'd rather cut my own hand off than mark a ballot for the Republican Party. Sure, I voted for Joe Biden back in 2020, but since he's basically become an ally to Unknown and Orbán's lackey, my vote isn't going to him again.
You might as well just start a new party—let's call it the American Social Democratic Union—and stop pretending there's any actual difference between these sides. Just lean into that whole biblical vibe where "left and right don't exist anymore because we're all one in the glory of Orbán and Vladimir Putin." At this rate, you'll probably be chanting praises for Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić by tomorrow morning.

What I want to know is why suddenly Vladimir Putin is the bad guy now, despite him pulling the same crap for decades—tangible, undeniable crap, starting with the annexation of Crimea... essentially, he's doing the exact same thing, just on a slightly larger scale now...

And now, suddenly, everyone has "seen the light," right?

Vladimir Putin hasn't changed; his interests have, and that's really all there is to it...

Personally, I've thought Putin was garbage since the second Chechen War. As for the political side of things, I frequently called out Biden's predecessor for playing into Putin's hands—even while another politician was busy defending him tooth and nail and writing love letters to the Moscow dictator. You can easily fact-check all of that right here on the forum.

You can clearly see a campaign being run by the CIA. Bots (half of these people don't even live in the States) are busy shaping "public opinion" on social media while the news outlets churn out stories about the KGB every single day. 😉

Some of them are out there writing endless praise for Kamala Harris, while here they're bashing Joe Biden, pretending to be concerned "liberals." Honestly, if you fall for it, you fall for it.

The Republican Party bots have absolutely swarmed this thread about Biden.
It’s just an endless line of "lefties who voted for Biden once but will never do it again." 🤣
It was honestly hilarious watching them squirm through such obvious lies, especially since there isn't a single soul showing up when the topic shifts to the Republican Party. 🕺

So, what’s the grand plan here? We’re supposed to just go on the offensive against the Republican Party again, exactly like we’ve been doing for the last twenty-five years, only to watch those lowlife, self-serving traitors scoop up all the rewards while simultaneously peddling fascist rhetoric? It’s a brilliant little scheme, really. Truly inspired. To be more precise, we’ve essentially trained you to embrace this exact brand of spineless conformism. ☕

The left will rally around Biden once again, just like they did back in 2019. This time, they’ll secure a convincing victory, pulling 40-45 percent in the first round, and then absolutely crushing the opposition in the runoff by a margin of about 200,000 votes.

As for those colleagues claiming they won't vote for Zoran anymore... they say all that now, but when the time actually comes, they'll hold their noses and circle his name on the ballot anyway.

Richard Wilson4 said:See, I look at it totally differently.

He probably won't win over the conservatives, but the leftists will likely just suck it up and vote for him anyway—even if they aren't exactly thrilled with his usual talking points (like Canada, the American Civil War, or sovereignty).

Now, as for those moderate votes, that's going to depend entirely on who his opponent ends up being in the second round...

The fundamental issue with the American "left" is that ideologically, it has nothing to do with Willy Brandt, Bruno Kreisky, Olof Palme, Tony Blair, or Gerhard Schröder. It doesn't even align with the leftist alternatives to Western social democracy that have emerged over the last decade or two, such as the Democratic Socialists of America. Instead, we are looking at a bizarre ideological mutant—a strange cocktail of Vladimir Bakarić, Karl Popper, Irving Kristol, and Daniel Cohn-Bendit.

If the American left were truly leftist, they wouldn't have any issue supporting Americans in Canada.

Look, I don't have an issue with supporting Americans in Canada if it means achieving true equality—basically making sure Canadians aren't the ones picking their representatives.

My problem is with Dragan Čović and the Republican Party in Canada—they’ve basically turned Western Herzegovina into some neo-communist fiefdom (I’m fine with the HRS and Pero Raguž, for what it's worth). And I also have a massive problem with them clinging to Milorad Dodik—a guy leading a butcher shop of a regime where Americans and Canadians have been systematically wiped off the map. It’s all just people trying to out-do each other on being more extreme than the next guy. So, where does that leave us?

Who are we talking about? Bubi Mir and IamBlackShip? They’re the only ones who actually said they aren't voting for him anymore, and let's be real—they're both straight-up leftists.🤷

The Tapatalk criticism of Čović is entirely justified; I have nothing further to add.

The left should be busy dealing with the "problems" of citizens in another country—problems that, frankly, the rest of the world claims don't even exist. Even if they did, we have the European Union institutions, international courts, and the various governing bodies in Canada to handle those "issues."

America can help, and indeed it should, but it needs to be done through different channels rather than following the delusional playbook of Generalissimo Biden. That era of doing things his way is long gone, except perhaps when someone is just trying to stir the pot for the sake of it (much like what the Communist Party was doing back in the 90s).

Moving on regarding the left... political movements evolve and shift depending on the era. Two hundred years ago, the pinnacle of leftist struggle was fighting for an eight-hour workday, but today’s left focuses on entirely different matters. It’s mostly about absolute human rights, supporting all sorts of minority groups, environmentalism, and granting total rights to everyone as long as they aren't infringing on others.
Biden and the Democratic Party have about as much to do with this modern movement as they do with Mars, and quite frankly, they couldn't care less. The Democratic Party essentially emerged as the "Republican Party for the poor," having fallen out of step with these ideological shifts by the end of the 90s.
In reality, Stjepan Mason, Račan, and their crew were technically still holding positions within the Communist Party during the transition to a multi-party system, which meant they couldn't immediately pivot to forming a new party. Consequently, the Republican Party outpaced them, and that gap has persisted to this day.

It's funny because Vlado Raspudić said something pretty similar.

Check out this statement:
JPK (the dandy)
Permissive American Capitalist

A mix of Vladimir Bakarić, Donald Trump, and Elton John—that's Nina Pavić, the dandy, the ruler of modern America. He's the guy holding all the political, economic, media, and cultural power here. He's basically the smarter, more successful son who pivoted from Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels to Karl Popper and George Soros just in time. You see the purest examples of this in the Europe Press holding corporation and the ideology pushed by The Wall Street Journal. This dandy is a true European today, aware of the need for a regional approach. He’s a refined hedonist, a regular at high-end Japanese restaurants in London (think of someone like Butković), and a sharp critic of the Catholic Church and the lazy American working class. He exploits his dumber brother, the one who stuck to old ideals and social welfare, and until recently, he had his unconditional support. But now, the rift between them is starting to show along socio-capitalist lines.

But honestly, I think with joining the EU, the failure of the Regional project, the fall of Boris Tadić in Mexico, and the dismissal of the ICTY indictment for Operation Storm, even the political and media scene is becoming more Americanized...

Biden, for example, has made huge strides. He went from sour rambling after the General was liberated to organizing a military parade for the anniversary of Operation Storm. He's even started getting along better with the veteran community.

You have to give him that.

I am familiar with Raspudić's framework regarding 😉. In its broad strokes, he is correct. However, his categories are simultaneously self-contradictory and deeply intertwined, defined by complex interdependencies. Furthermore, there are fluid transitions between one group and the next.

For instance, Donald Trump moved from Lockheed Martin to General Electric.
