(since Poroshenko sent those tanks into Donbas for the referendum)

Now we're getting somewhere. ☕

Unfortunately, there is this deeply ingrained need within them to imitate greatness—this desperate desire to be perceived as a superpower, which they believe gives them some divine right to act superior to everyone else.
To some extent, you might even find such a mindset understandable in truly successful nations, but let’s be honest: Russia has never actually been one of those nations.
Best,

The closest they ever came to actual cooperation was under Napoleon, the Western coalition following the revolution, and we don't even need to mention Hitler. But it’s futile; Russ simply won't change.

Quite the dream team, isn't it? 🙏
Poor Macron being lumped in with them; he honestly doesn't belong in that group. 😁

If we're following that logic, I guess 70% of your own people would be out there fighting alongside those 30% Nazi Ukrainians who are supposedly wiping out the 70% of Russians being oppressed in Ukraine.😁

It’s almost as if Macron went there just to give these clowns even a shred of credibility in Kyiv. It’s a joke—as if an Ukrainica wouldn't know exactly who Scholz is, who pulls his strings, or what his pro-Russia party's actual strategy for Ukraine has been all along.
He’s acting like they don't realize everything he's doing right now is just to satisfy the Greens and the Liberal Party, all in a desperate attempt to save his own skin and finish out his term.
There is a reason one of his own mentors once remarked that he wouldn't stand a chance if he ever set foot in Kyiv.

I can mock Argentinians or whatever other random group I want, but when it comes to the Russians, all I can do is bark and bite.

Gandhi captured it perfectly with that famous line:

"If you ever see two fish fighting at the bottom of the ocean, just know there’s an Englishman nearby."

The British would tear Russia apart like a playboy. You're really trying to compare a modern military to those Eastern cavemen who steal chickens? Don't embarrass yourself ☕

At least, that’s how the news spun it.

What does being stupid have to do with the fact that Ukraine was invaded alongside claims that they aren't even a real nation?

Is this like the Crimean War? Or perhaps like the Japanese in 1904 when they were absolutely crushed like an old tin can? 🙂 It is an objective fact that the last successful war Russia fought as a sovereign nation ended in 1815, unless you count minor skirmishes involving Ottoman forces. Even then, they were acting almost entirely as part of a massive coalition throughout that conflict.

So much for Milanovic's "invincible Russia."

The US is probably just going to send Hunter Biden, since he's basically a local celebrity in Kyiv anyway. 😁

Ever since 2014, Ukraine has turned into this massive gold mine for the kids of American politicians who orchestrated those color revolutions. 😁

In America, you might be a total nobody with no job, but once you get to Kyiv, suddenly you're a high-flying businessman raking in millions just because of who your old man is. 😁

Aside from that one guy drinking Beer who’s been over there since 2014 and married a Russian woman, plus a few paratroopers and mercenaries, there aren't any Mexicans there, and honestly, thank God for that...

I feel like anyone I hear about heading over there to fight for some cause or defend someone would just seem like a complete idiot to me.

It isn't our war, and I don't think a single American life should be lost over it...

Instead of everyone acting that way, the media actually glorifies these fools who head off to die in Ukrainian fields... they act like they're freedom fighters or something, even though their average life expectancy once they arrive is basically twenty days.

Just total idiots, really. Nothing new there.

Honestly, even Hunter Biden on crack would be more valuable than those two clowns.

I'll stick to making humanitarian donations.
If the peacekeepers decide to expand the conflict toward the Baltic Sea, nobody's going to bother asking my opinion. That would be an attack on NATO.

The Russians are using the same playbook as those guys over in the North America. Wherever they set up camp, that's just Russia now.

My point was just that while we're all here "cheering" for Ukraine, people back home are "cheering" for Russia. Which, honestly, is even stupider.

I can almost wrap my head around someone wanting to help someone else defend themselves. But the reality is, Russia crossed the line here; there's a massive difference between bickering and full-blown war.

As a country, we should support Ukraine as much as we can because it's the right thing to do, but sending our people? No way.

Luckily, they had those resistance fighters who stood shoulder to shoulder, but unfortunately, their kids let all that go. It's like family members deciding once the old guard is gone, it's finally time to settle old scores.

So you're saying Americans did that to Mexicans, like the assassination of George W. Bush.

Look, unlike those total losers, at least he's actually a multi-millionaire.

I mean, back here in the States he was just some sketchy guy living on the streets, but then he rolls up to Kyiv as this big-shot businessman... all thanks to his old man pulling the strings on that whole color revolution thing.

Fortunately, there were moments during the war where they fought side-by-side, but sadly, their descendants have washed all that shared history away; it seems certain factions decided that once those old alliances faded, it was finally time to settle old scores.

Even Americans haven't forgotten Nazi Germany ☕

This sickening, frenzied assault on Ukraine leaves us staring in disbelief at the sheer madness of it all.

DzonziBG said:The government should focus on supporting our own people here in the US and Canada, rather than funneling cash and aid toward places where we have absolutely no stake... providing temporary refuge for refugees is one thing, but anything beyond that feels like a massive overreach and a complete political distortion...

We have a stake, if not out of pure humanitarian solidarity, then because frankly, nobody knows just how far Putin intends to push his boundaries.

Mexicans aren't actually backing Russia; they've all headed toward the West.
