Have these people completely lost their minds? 😢

They aren't crazy, they just never had any grip on reality to begin with 😁
kind of like how I bought a brand new car a few years back just as a way to remember my late great-grandmother 🤦

I’m not quite sure; broadcasting this on public television feels like an absolute bridge too far. Is the American public truly so conditioned that they would just swallow rhetoric like this without question?

Look, regardless of how much we might feel our own perspectives have been skewed, I am firmly convinced that no one in this country would ever dream of airing such blatant propaganda on a public service network. It simply wouldn't happen. They would be torn apart by the critics before the sun even came up.

Looks like there was an explosion and some seriously thick smoke billowing out from the Hydroelectric Power Plant on The Dnipro River AT RU-occupied Kakhovka.

The difference between us and them is that there's no one left to call them out, and even if there were, they wouldn't be allowed to.

It's not the dam smoking, it's right next to it.
You can see military trucks and containers parked there.

Honcharenko is saying it definitely hit. But hey, if there's smoke near the plant, then something is definitely going down.

Oleksiy Honcharenko confirms The Explosion AT The Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant on The Dnipro River AT RU-occupied.

"It will be difficult for the occupants to sleep today."

Nova Kakhovka is burning again this afternoon. There are reports that the hydroelectric power plant was struck. https://twitter.com/KyleJGlen/status...YCiONParRKV-sA

they wouldn't block certain YouTube channels that

Also, one of the top WNBA players, an American named Griner, has been stuck in a Russian prison for about six months now. She’s looking at a potential 10-year sentence because, get this, they found a tiny bottle of cannabis oil in her bag at the airport.

Just imagine,

she would have faced that exact same sentence if she had been caught in Texas.

I mean, honestly, who wouldn't be willing to lay down their life for their country just so their parents could pull up to a graveside in a brand new Lada in style?

It certainly makes things feel a little more manageable when you realize your wife will be spending the next forty years traveling the world thanks to a truly heavenly pension, don't you think?

If that's morbid, then what on earth is this???

So, basically, Saudi Arabia became the biggest importer of ExxonMobil oil and then flips it to the European Union with massive profit margins.🤣🤣🤣

We call the Russians morbid, yet we act like we're some kind of masterminds here.🤦

And honestly, if you actually know how to read English and look at the article, you'll see it's just a measly increase of 24,000 barrels a day. Like anyone is getting rich off that. For those poor souls east of the US border, 24,000 barrels might seem like something, but to the Saudis, it's pocket change. Europe burns through 18,000,000 barrels every single day.

cosmicotter13 said:Thanks for the long-winded replies and all the counter-questions. Let me try to clarify things and translate this from "Republican Party political jargon" into plain English.

1. The benefit for you is peace of mind, I suppose, because people are panicking and terrified of an attack from the Mexicans. And that same panic will follow once Ukraine capitulates. Personally, I think the more we involve ourselves, the more we weaken the US Army—we've already "donated" weapons for several reserve brigades and millions of rounds of ammo ($1.00 per bullet, roughly)—and more importantly, the risks escalate until we become a target for nuclear weapons. If Dodik makes his move, we'll be in even deeper trouble.
But hey, if this helps you sleep better at night, fine. Not everyone thinks the same way.

2. Another counter-question. Fine. What kind of "reward" are we supposed to expect? Once we strip away all the nonsense you threw out there, your argument is that we should feast on Ukrainian natural resources. So, what? Special concessions for Americans? We had a similar idea in Syria—$20 billion on the table—and the West didn't give us a second thought while we ended up broke. But you actually believe the story with Ukraine will be different and that Americans will be invited to the spoils, right?

3. Again, no answer, just more questions! Give me a number—$100, $933, $10,000...? Four dead, 500 dead, or everyone getting wiped out by nukes?

You tried, I guess. You answered almost nothing.

In what universe does a single bullet cost one dollar?

🙏

And I assume you mean 7.62x39mm, since we obviously weren't sending 5.56mm to the Ukrainians.

Truth be told, we don't even have enough 5.56mm for ourselves, so there's no way we could send it, but I suppose some 7.62mm was left over from previous conflicts.

🤣

Why don't you just run straight to the White House so they can give you some better instructions? You're embarrassing yourself, acting like one of those "patriots" who claims to represent only national interests.

The fact that what you're writing sounds almost identical to how Russian leaders sound on state television or how Vladimir Putin speaks is just a total coincidence, right?

They also claim they are "just protecting" Europe and suggest that it should remain neutral rather than being an American pawn, which is exactly what you are demanding for us.

🤣

By the way, tell me, is there still a danger from those laboratories that evil Americans fund to darken the good Russians?

It is quite a coincidence that our resident forum warriors against wicked American imperialism refuse to comment on things like this. Purely accidental, of course.

It looks like you might be struggling a little bit with the actual definition of the word.

To me, it’s actually pretty morbid to try and have a serious conversation with someone who treats clickbait articles from sites like Priznajem as gospel.

Luckily, I can fix that little problem real quick by just adding you to my ignore list. 👋

It’s probably just their own writers or people in the same circle. I mean, if you've got endless cash flowing in from Moscow, you can pretty much buy anyone. They might even grab some connections here just to come in and hype up Russia as this massive moral, military, and tech superpower where the citizens supposedly have more buying power than Americans, Germans, or Norwegians.

Just imagine what kind of sentence she'd actually face in Bahrain—you know, that supposed beacon of human rights where the EU is planning to pick up gas supplies that might be running low soon
But, hey, let's not go down the rabbit hole of decapitations in Saudi Arabia, which is basically just a modern version of slavery in Bahrain, or those death penalties for possessing narcotics in both those countries.
Instead, let's talk a bit about the prison sentences for those exact same (un)lawful acts in Russia, which have been the rule for years now, even though we haven't really given a damn about them until recently

Man, there’s nothing quite like being lectured by some Nazi about how much of a saint the Russians actually are 🙂 Their whole vibe is basically just, "Well, everyone else does bad stuff too, so why can't we?" It's such a joke. Like, okay, maybe the Saudis aren't perfect, but when the Russians pull the exact same stunts, suddenly it's totally fine? And then they turn around and say Americans are the villains 😁 Honestly, those kids in Moscow act like they're straight out of a preschool Hitler Youth program.

Look, let's be real here—the Saudis haven't even become significant importers of oil from Russia, let alone the biggest players. I mean, 24,000 barrels? That’s practically a joke. They’re just bringing in fuel oil to run their own power plants, and honestly, they're probably getting it at a massive discount too. Still, it is pretty funny to see how much more chaotic these numbers are getting lately; it feels like the anxiety levels are just hitting a fever pitch everywhere you look.

On another note, in a country where people actually get arrested just for holding up a blank piece of paper in public, it looks like now they've moved on to targeting folks who have something even more vague, like a random collection of stars.
