Maybe it makes a difference at long range—you know, specifically for an AK-47 round.
But we're talking about the actual severity of the wound here.

In recent conflicts across Africa, soldiers used to smear themselves with all sorts of oils provided by local shamans. They genuinely believed it made them bulletproof, which gave them the confidence to rush straight into the fray.

Man, that guy is absolutely unhinged😉)) —if you let him loose in a trench at night, he’d probably take them all out with his bare hands... I bet they keep him on a leash in his unit just to be safe🙂))

Looks like that Russian S-300 just decided to turn itself into a giant bonfire.

Well, they say every beginning is a struggle... 😬

The guy filming this—honestly, he’s got some serious guts. I mean, he’s standing there while a massive explosion could rip through everything at any second.

So clearly, the Wagnerites picked up the idea while they were out there, and now they're applying this "new Russian technique" we're all apparently waiting to see on the battlefield.

I’m fully expecting the Russians at the next parade to just march out completely naked, covered in nothing but grease from Wagner's Africa.

The Wagnerites are scouring the prisons—or "holding pens," if you want to use the old Mexican terminology—to recruit convicts across poor Russia, with the regime providing full support to pull in murderers and robbers.
I suspect those Grade-2 vests—you know, the ones meant to stop handguns—are designed specifically for them and their proxies; basically, they're built for the disposable infantry being sent to the front as cannon fodder... they’re going to die anyway, aren't they? ☕

Back in 2022—the Ukrainian Defense Department actually gave a shout-out to NAFO for taking on the Russian propaganda machine... 🙏

It’s a good point to raise. That particular example is widely cited—once they realized the charm was a total fraud (leaving them 100% vulnerable to death, naturally), the shaman conveniently changed the story. Suddenly, the oil wasn't for protection; it was supposedly meant to remind them to focus on their comrades rather than their own survival.☕

Let me reiterate the soldiers are doomed to die anyway (c) The Good Soldier Švejk
Whether it’s with glory or without it...
They’re cursed... simply because they’re fighting in a cursed war... led by nothing but godforsaken monsters... and in the end, they’ll all just end up as fertilizer... every single one of them... 🤷

So, get this—there’s this story going around about a 65-year-old woman who supposedly torched that BMW belonging to one of the high-ranking officers in the Russian General Staff yesterday. Now, the folks over in the Kremlin are actually claiming she was kidnapped and hypnotized by Ukrainians to set the car on fire. I’m dead serious, this isn't even a joke.

Honestly, these guys seem to be losing their grip on reality more and more every single day.

Life’s been pretty brutal for those collaborators living in occupied territories lately. It feels like every couple of days, they’re just desperately reaching for straws... trying to grab at clouds.

Since they don't have any Kevlar, maybe they'd be better off just pouring some 2-inch concrete slabs to use as makeshift body armor. 🤣

They could even slap some ceramic tiles on there for extra ballistic protection—they could probably scavenge those from any bathroom in an occupied zone. 😵

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence suggesting that Russ has made a conscious, deliberate choice to wage this genocidal war against Ukraine.

Take, for instance, this footage of a Russian soldier holding the skull of a Ukrainian soldier, calmly stating his objective is to kill him and anyone else who identifies as Ukrainian. /1
https://twitter.com/den_kazansky/sta...916928/video/1

Then there is this week's address from the Oscar-winning film director Nikita Mihalkov, in which he argues that the Ukrainian language should be completely eradicated within Ukraine. /2
https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/...raAG0S8u9CVkhw

Consider the interview with the Russian soldier Evgeny Rasskazov (topaz), who openly admits to feeling sexual arousal while killing Ukrainians; he describes experiencing an erection during the act and finds himself dwelling on the suffering their families will endure upon hearing the news. /3
https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/...raAG0S8u9CVkhw

Back in August 2022, various Russian Telegram channels began circulating an older video featuring a young girl reciting lines from a Stalinist poem by Simonov—lines that explicitly command "kill him," shouting to "kill the fascist" and insisting his mother be the one to weep for him. /4
https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/...raAG0S8u9CVkhw

The prominent Russian nationalist Yegor Kholmogorov—who was a colleague of Darya Dugina at the far-right Tsargrad TV, an outlet funded by Konstantin Malofeyev—was asked how many Ukrainians must die for Darya; his response on Telegram was blunt: every single Ukrainian must be killed. /5
https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/...raAG0S8u9CVkhw

Finally, at the beginning of April, the Russian state propaganda agency RIA Novosti published what is essentially a blueprint for total genocide in Ukraine, stating clearly that the Ukrainian elites must be eliminated and the population either forcibly Russified or killed off entirely. /6

Could you perhaps provide a more or less precise figure for how many of us Russians "willfully" decided to embark on this genocidal war against Ukraine?

All of this is the coordinated product of a massive propaganda machine. They recruit prominent figures—those loyal to the regime—to read scripts, whether their own or someone else's, to provide a veneer of 'support' for the 'special operation' in Ukraine. The goal is to amplify, or at least maintain, a fever pitch of rage among the domestic public. I would categorize it this way: one third is pure performance, one third is standard human stupidity, and the final third is the result of a completely warped psyche. In any functioning nation, individuals like these wouldn't even be allowed near a camera; if they were caught on film, the footage would serve only as a clinical diagnostic tool or a case study for medical students.

Don't take this personally—as a Russian patriot, I'm sure this rubs you the wrong way. But honestly, everyone knows you aren't one of those people I mentioned earlier, and I doubt you're the only one who doesn't fit that description either.

My apologies, Jane, to you and the countless others like you for the generalizations in my writing, though one has to admit that generalization, while technically inaccurate, is a perfectly standard phenomenon.

Do people say that Frenchmen pushed their colonies to the brink? Or that Americans dropped the bomb on Hiroshima?
They do.
Did every single Frenchman participate in that oppression? Did all Americans kill the Japanese?
No. Not by a long shot.

I get where you're coming from. Honestly, I’d be offended too if some fool like myself unceremoniously shoved me into some ugly, sweeping category.

On the other hand, it's nearly impossible to dodge those kinds of generalizations when an entire nation falls into a state of collective hysteria—carefully cultivated and nurtured by those in power—until a massive segment of the population harbors nothing but pure hatred for "the others" and becomes willing to do anything.

It looks like the sanctions finally rubbed those "soft belly" types in Russia the wrong way. The news about potentially easing up on visa restrictions sent a massive wave of whining through Twitter and everywhere else. These folks are absolutely losing it because they won't be able to jet off to the West as easily anymore. Even Solovyov had one of his usual meltdowns, threatening nuclear strikes just because they might lose their easy access to the European Union. 🤣

One comment really summed up the whole vibe for me:

"These Russians love their country so much that their ultimate life goal is to loot the place, grab the cash, and flee to the West to live it up with their families." 🙏

It is fundamentally flawed to judge an entire population based solely on what state-run media outlets broadcast under the thumb of an authoritarian regime. It’s blindingly obvious that in such a system, you won't find a single soul who doesn't mirror the warmongering, hateful rhetoric of a lunatic like Putin.
Those who dare to disagree are immediately detained, slapped with fines, or thrown into custody; if they persist in defying Putin's so-called "legislation," they face certain arrest and prison time.
What I find particularly amusing, however, is seeing a certain cohort of "useful idiots" from Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, and elsewhere appearing on these state channels, zealously backing Putin and his aggressive war. But let’s be honest—we all recognize them for what they are: mere mercenaries whose opinions bear absolutely no resemblance to the views held by the actual citizens of those countries.
