Timothy Nelson5 said:All jokes aside, though, something genuinely strange is unfolding here.
For instance, maybe Putler was banking on announcing a mobilization and having the masses cheer him on... but instead, the stock market took a hit, and most of the reaction was pretty negative...
So, perhaps the leader had a bit of second thought...
🍿
You’ve gotta be kidding me, as if they give a damn about the stock market.🤦

He announced mobilization (calling it partial)

There will be light... 😬
(just kidding, he made what sounded like the most intense threat, but it felt totally hollow, much like he is himself)

Partial mobilization kicks off today
We’ve heard this all before, haven't we?
The West wants to dismantle Russia, all this talk about neo-Nazis and reclaiming historical Russian lands like Novorossiya...
Then they throw those indirect nuclear threats out there again.
Same old story, same old nonsense.
Total lunacy.

So the USA definitely knew what was coming before anyone else did 🤣
Gotta check in with Schwab and see if they actually buy this.

And he's saying Russia won't be blackmailed with nukes, and if things keep going this way, they're ready to strike back—he isn't bluffing. It's just completely wild.

He’s going all in.
It’s all or nothing at this point.

I don't think he's insane
He’s just one of those Russian presidents working toward long-term Russian goals. He's not the first, and he won't be the last.

Honestly, I don’t know why everyone was dragging their feet and waiting so long on this. It wasn't exactly a shocker—everyone saw this coming from a mile away. In fact, if you ask me, things should have been handled a lot more aggressively from the start.🙂

Speech is over. It’s the usual story: the West wants to dismantle Russia, and they're threatening nuclear action, so now Russia is pushing back against that blackmail. He also backed referendums for independence in the occupied Ukrainian territories and announced partial mobilization, starting with the reservists.

Partial mobilization is rolling out, and they've already stopped making Chevrolets. It’s going to be a nightmare for parents trying to get by.

Putin: Russia Has more modern nukes Than the West. will Use All weapons if Russian territory is threatened. "We are not bluffing."
So, basically, he sets up those rigged referendums to pull off an annexation of those regions, and then if the Ukrainians try to push back, he claims he's got the right to drop the nukes.
Because suddenly, they're attacking American-aligned territory or whatever.

So, if he’s officially declared a partial mobilization, does that mean this whole "special military operation" thing is actually turning into... well, a war?
#6517 ·
So, what’s the deal with this mobilization?
If the Russian military is such a massive powerhouse with zero issues finding enough people, why weren't they just sending troops out to the Far East for joint exercises with China recently? If they have all those people ready to go, why the sudden scramble?

So, just like everyone called, he got spooked by the idea of a full-scale mobilization. Instead, we’re seeing that classic Kremlin move where they try to play it safe with a "halfway" solution...
Honestly, though, this is still a massive gamble for Putin. Even a partial mobilization—just pulling in reservists—is enough to spark real unrest or even a full-blown revolt. In situations like this, it doesn't take much; one tiny, seemingly insignificant mistake and the whole thing spirals into total chaos.
Typical Putin behavior, really... the guy isn't going to back down, and his inner circle is way too deep in this mess to ever actually turn on him. Personally? I hope he, Medvedev, Zakharov, and the rest of that crew end up swinging from a lamppost sooner rather than later. They haven't earned anything else.
