😁I know it's a sim, but man, it's kinda heavy for the Russia fans at first glance.😁
Like, where are strategic bombers gonna fly, 200 meters off the ground? lol...🤣

Amnesty International has labeled the strike on the theater in Mariupol a war crime
https://www.agents.media/amnesty-int...nal-war-crime/
In their latest report, Amnesty International categorized the airstrike on the drama theater in Mariupol as a "clear war crime." Based on an investigation involving photographic evidence and interviews with survivors and eyewitnesses, it appears hundreds of civilians were inside the building when the attack occurred.
Quote. "We have concluded that the attack was a clear war crime committed by Russian forces," stated Agnès Callamard, head of Amnesty International, noting that numerous civilians were wounded or killed due to the "ruthless attack" carried out by Russian forces.

Timothy Williams5 said:Russian forces have claimed to seize over 25 settlements in Ukraine more than twice over, all without ever actually losing them in the interim. 😁
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, their military has "taken control" of at least 25 towns and villages across the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Curiously, the Department of Defense has never once reported any tactical retreats or instances where these locations changed hands during combat. This pattern was uncovered in a study by Project, which meticulously analyzed roughly 200 briefings delivered by Russian Ministry of Defense spokesperson Igor Konashenkov between February 24 and June 26.
The town of Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast seems to be a frequent candidate for these repetitive claims. Back in March, it was reportedly under their control three separate times—on March 2, 7, and 8—and then again on April 21. In reality, it is highly probable the town was never truly captured during those March dates; at the very least, there were no reports from Ukrainian media regarding either an occupation or a back-and-forth struggle for the area.
In Donetsk Oblast, the Russian army first "seized" Sloviansk on March 2. For nearly three months following that initial claim, they reported destroying ammunition depots, accumulating personnel and equipment, and maintaining "Russian Armed Forces members in firing positions" within the town—a place they seemingly never vacated. Then, on May 28, Sloviansk was "taken under control" for a second time.
Using the phrase “took control” is little more than a euphemism employed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to avoid using the word “occupation.” Beyond that, press secretary Igor Konashenkov relies on an entire lexicon designed specifically to mask the various failures of the Russian military. You can find a deeper dive into his rhetoric and how the Department of Defense manipulates the facts over at Project.

Only 25? And someone actually went out and counted those? Clearly, this is their first war, and they're baffled by absolutely everything. 🤣
Anyway, did anyone bother to check how many towns or villages share the exact same name?

The link says ARMA 3 right there, so you might have just annoyed an 80-year-old and nobody else. 🤣

I’m not sure if anyone else has brought up the book Path to Tyranny yet.
I just wrapped it up, and man, I’m honestly torn between being totally blown away and feeling completely unsettled by it.
It came out back in 2019, and it does such a killer job of breaking down how Russia meddles in European Union affairs and their whole underlying doctrine.
At the start of the year, the whole aggression against Ukraine felt like some far-off sci-fi plot to me—but after finishing this? It feels like a perfectly logical sequence of events that was never actually up for debate.
If you can find the time and the stomach for it, it’s definitely worth the read.

Timothy Williams5 said:RIA, a Russian news agency, is claiming that Putin actually enjoys support among the public in the United Kingdom, citing various comments pulled from the Daily Mail:
https://ria.ru/20220618/britantsy-17...=rian_partners
“He’s right; the British Empire was the worst thing in history,” remarks Trevor Bradley.
"American global hegemony is over, and the U.S. leadership needs to be hauled before a war crimes tribunal," writes Mannyriber.
"I agree with him. Russia has every right to defend itself against NATO aggression. They weren't given a choice but to launch the special operation in Ukraine," argues Kotete.
"The issue is that when I listen to Putin or Lavrov, I hear speech that is well-founded, clear, and makes sense. The rhetoric from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson sounds like nothing more than pure boasting. And President Joe Biden just talks absolute nonsense. Some of his words aren't even intelligible," shares the opinion of Thingonaswing.
A state-run news agency, you say? 🤣🎉🐔
Good grief, where on earth did these people get stuck in history...
Classic twisting of words.
Look, sure, Americans might be fed up with their leaders—the US president is a joke and so is the British PM, and people say that openly—but just because they think Putin has some edge over them (he does, he's clear, and he sticks to a principle, even if he lies when it suits him—unlike Biden and Johnson who lie the second they open their mouths), it doesn't mean they actually back his policies.
Seriously, if someone points out that Putin and the war in Ukraine aren't the main drivers of inflation, but rather the fact that in the US, for example, the money supply jumped by 29% during the COVID-19 crisis without a matching increase in goods and services, that doesn't make them a Putin supporter. It just means they're well-informed and actually have a grain of sense in their heads.

A massive win for the US! It might seem like a tiny thing to some people, but honestly, after all those heated internet debates we went through, it feels pretty huge.
I'm not sure if you guys all remember the whole Apple Pie wars from a few years back, but man, those comment sections were absolute battlegrounds. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-s...-b1341315.html
Well, it looks like UNESCO finally stepped in and sided with the US in the great Apple Pie debate.
UNESCO has officially decided to add Apple Pie to the global list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This move is a small but significant victory in the US struggle to reclaim aspects of its national identity following centuries of British cultural appropriation https://t.co/Kd4arKgYKp

Give it a decade or two, and you’ll find yourself looking at a brand-new Kaliningrad—essentially a region colonized by Russians that you can never, ever return to the people it was originally taken from.
Back here in the States, we used to call that a "train without a schedule"☕it's a tried and true recipe☕

Get ready for the Meltdown Zarov reaction in 3....2....1....
Honestly, it's still sitting right up there in my top 10 all-time stupidest takes since the war started.
"The Ukrainians hid the recipe and won't share it!" 🙂 🙂

Now that there’s fresh beets and kale available... will they still be allowed to cook up some borscht at home without trouble? Will there be an issue if someone throws a cut of beef into the pot? Just asking for a friend.

Russians are out there actively pumping white smoke all around the area near the Golden Gate Bridge. Honestly, what on earth do they think they’re actually accomplishing with this move????

Maybe you're just swatting at mosquitoes.
I highly doubt they’re actually going to try and mask the Golden Gate Bridge. 11 miles
Then again, you can never really predict what kind of absolute idiocy Russ is going to pull next.

Actually, Omaha is larger than Chicago and Austin combined...

Swarms big enough to actually slow down traffic on the bridge? 😁 Looking at these shots, it looks like some military convoys are just rolling through.
Got a few distant shots here
