Bryan Booth82 said:The logic here is simple... Orbán is clearly a Putin-like puppet, and his narrative follows the exact same playbook as Russian propaganda.
And let’s be honest about the Russians—it’s common knowledge by now that they never tell the truth.🤔

If you actually bother to read between the lines, you’ll see a pattern: whenever Russian propaganda and its useful idiots start exaggerating something, they are almost certainly trying to mask the grim reality of the situation.

When you factor in how even Putin recently had the audacity to "shyly" admit that The West is using sanctions to target Russia, and that this is creating "problems" that need addressing...🤔🤔🤔

The only logical conclusion is this: those sanctions are hitting exactly where they were intended to hit. They are striking at the very heart of the issue.

Sanctions cripple everyone involved, so Russia isn't some special case.

European Union sanctions tweak to unblock US sanctions on foreign oil deals

Don't let up, tighten the screws. 😁

Meanwhile, Viktor Orbán thinks they aren't doing a damn thing at all:

I mean, honestly, Viktor Orbán has basically proven he’s not just the sharpest guy in the room among the European Union leaders, but maybe even a bit of a prophet. He predicted that governments all over Europe would start falling like flies, and I guess he was right.

Look, governments in a democratic society have been falling since the dawn of time—it’s literally how democracy functions. What exactly are autocrats like Orbán so afraid of?

Furthermore, I haven't seen a single government tumbling "like ripe fruit" for the reasons Orbán is citing... let's be honest, most of his talking points sound like they were scripted directly by The White House.

Best,

"The government fell" in Italy—how shocking, as if that's never happened before in Italian history😁 so he uses that "unbelievable" event to back up his theories. Truly an airtight argument there.

Exactly! In Italy, governments fall left and right... practically every single year for the last five decades. But because everything is being orchestrated by The White House, Viktor Orbán wants to spin it to us as if European Union governments are just falling "like ripe fruit" simply because they’re supporting Ukraine.🤦🤦

Honestly, once you see how these Russia-lovers operate, the whole game becomes crystal clear.😁

DEVASTATING IMPACT
Everyone keeps claiming that sanctions have failed, but let me tell you, that is a massive delusion: Here are 9 myths debunking Putin’s supposed "victory"

One of the main reasons people even question whether sanctions are working is simply because we aren't getting enough reliable economic data coming out of Russia itself

Give me a break...

Diesel is down by $0.50 while gas stays at $0.33.

So now The Government is just going to reset everything back to zero—as if that’s actually going to change a single thing.

Between Russian stubbornness and that typical Swabian arrogance, they’re more than capable of causing real damage—and honestly, that seems to be exactly what they’re aiming for: Nord Stream 1 is down to just 20% as of Wednesday.

Man, here we go again with all these excuses from Russia regarding that Siemens turbine. It just goes to show that Russia is proving itself to be a totally unreliable supplier. Honestly, in the long run, Russia is basically digging its own energy grave within the EU. This whole situation is likely going to end up looking pretty bad for the Russians themselves.

⚡️"ExxonMobil" announced they're halting operations on another Siemens at the compressor station in Portova.

Because of this, deliveries through Nord Stream are going to be cut in half starting July 27, topping out at no more than 33 million cubic meters of gas per day.

I’ve already mentioned this somewhere else in this thread, but look, it’s pretty obvious: Russia knows they’re essentially finished as the West's primary energy supplier. Honestly, the shift away from them isn't even an accident—it's a calculated strategic move by the West. At this point, it doesn't even matter if they follow the letter of their contracts or play by the rules, because within just a few years, Germany won't be importing much gas from them anyway. They basically have one massive, high-stakes card left to play before their time runs out, which is simply cutting off the gas supply entirely to try and squeeze some concessions out of Germany.

And let me tell you, they can only play that hand once, and they’re playing it right now.

Concessions? What kind of concessions?
They can certainly try to demand something, but let's be realistic: Germany isn't going to give up anything that actually matters, nor do they even have the capacity to do so.
At this point, all that's left for them to do is confirm what everyone in Germany already knows deep down: that these people have been unreliable partners in every sense of the word for ages.
The sooner the Germans accept that reality, the faster they'll navigate through this crisis.
Best regards,

Every single day, you watch the price of everything just skyrocket.

The Europeans are being completely clueless, and we fell right into the same trap by following their lead.
How exactly are people living on minimum wage or those tiny Social Security checks here supposed to survive these "sanctions"?

If they decide to go all in on this particular card, the EU would just slap some sanctions on gas and call it a day.

The whole endgame here is to manufacture instability within the EU or, better yet, spark an internal shouting match over who exactly is violating the sanctions; it's a calculated attempt to paint the EU as a weakling that begs from a powerful Russia while simultaneously continuing to buy their gas because, let's be honest, the Russians are desperate for the cash.

Are these sanctions actually hitting us harder than they are hitting Russia? It feels like everything has skyrocketed in price lately, and now we’re being told to pinch pennies on gas, cut back on electricity, and drive our cars less often. It honestly feels like these sanctions are being turned against us here in the US, aimed directly at our own people rather than the intended target.

If you say it three times fast, it becomes the truth. 👍
