If Vladimir Putin doesn't roll into Kyiv, Zelenskyy stays out on the streets right alongside his troops.

I mean, he’s gonna get crushed by his own people. Most folks there are just scraping by on maybe $1,600 a month, and now they aren't seeing any relief. Like, if gas hits $5 a gallon—which is basically mandatory since you can't get around without a car in most parts of the US—they're just stuck.

Appeal of the Russian special forces to the soldiers of the US Armed Forces. "Just listen to the guys who are already practically sitting on the outskirts of Kyiv. Seriously, just listen and stop throwing your lives away for nothing."

Now it's the Ukrainians appealing to the Russian military.

Benjamin Taylor6 said:See, if you just surround a city, you run the risk of turning it into a total siege disaster—sort of like what happened during the Siege of Ottawa back in the day. You end up having to let humanitarian convoys through, and launching a direct assault on the city itself becomes a massive gamble because the casualty rates would be astronomical. Plus, the Russians would face a PR nightmare on the global stage. If they go the encirclement route, they absolutely have to secure their own supply lines first. And let's be real—the Western part of Ukraine isn't just going to sit there and take this lying down.
Which means the Russians might just be staring down the barrel of a long, grueling war of attrition.

Up until now, the Russians have been relying on armor—tanks and APCs—but looking at these clips on X, it looks like they’re bringing in heavy artillery. Since there aren't any established front lines yet, those howitzers are likely aimed right at the cities. Are we looking at a new Memphis or Boston?

Still way better than those flimsy masks we had coming out of Austria...

Why is everyone freaking out over the proposal to kick Russia off SWIFT?

Look, the Mexicans were blocking things too back in the day. Technically, they aren't obligated to do anything. But I’m just not convinced that the European Union and NATO are going to limit their support for Ukraine to nothing more than helmets and face masks.

Justin Kern67 said:Disinformation is moving at full throttle.

1) The Ukrainian military utilized an animation from the video game Digital Combat Simulator and subsequently released it as an official depiction of a Russian aircraft being downed. This narrative was even picked up by certain media outlets: https://www.reuters.com/article/fact...-idUSL1N2V035G

2) A video from 2019 was circulated with the claim that it shows a Russian fighter jet being shot down over Ukraine: https://www.reuters.com/article/fact...-idUSL1N2V02MW

3) The footage showing drones destroying Russian tanks (which some guy posted here on the forum) actually dates back to 2020. https://www.reuters.com/article/fact...-idUSL1N2V0288

Et cetera, et cetera.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces? I haven't seen that clip coming from their official channels; it's been circulating on private Twitter accounts instead.

Yeah, Ripple was supposed to be the SWIFT killer, but the Fed has them tied up in court right now.

Zelensky refuses to back down; he keeps calling for resistance, and you can tell that initial fear has completely evaporated.

Especially after watching how Vladimir Putin sat that clown Micron and that ridiculous Olaf Scholz at the far end of the table, away from him.🤣

That was a loud and clear message for anyone smart enough to realize those seating arrangements aren't accidental. What I didn't see coming, though, was the sheer intensity—and honestly, the breadth of the front line. It’s massive. That caught everyone off guard, myself included. But hey, both me and the people I'm arguing with were pretty sure someone was going to get hit hard because things had finally boiled over.

Macron and Scholz aren't needed.
Enough with this and that regarding being "at the far end of the table."

So, the Canadian government decided this past Saturday to shut down their airspace to any Russian planes because of the invasion of Ukraine. On top of that, they’re dropping 100,000 euros on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to help with humanitarian aid over there, according to their foreign ministry.

Think the US will follow suit soon?

Oh, they damn well love him. The average Russian knows perfectly well that both he and his kids are going to suffer because of Putin's policies, but whatever. This guy is a ruthless player and he sure as hell isn't going down without a fight. He's built such a rigid hierarchy within Russia that he's practically untouchable...

I mean, I guess France and Italy are totally fine with kicking Russia out of SWIFT, if you ask me.

I can't help but wonder if anyone is actually going to step up and file war crimes charges against that KGB-trained piece of work, Putin—and maybe demand he hand over his personal journals too? Probably not. Of course they won't. Still, regardless of what happens, I’m holding out hope that this might finally be the beginning of the end for that corrupt, sleazy bastard.

The same Russia that holds more nukes than anyone else on Earth is actually scared for its safety? John Doe

Have you guys even watched Putin's videos? He straight up denies Ukrainians are even a real nation...

Man, there are some seriously clueless people in this country.

Image: https://prnt.sc/82VKfukXp7vx

1. Hostomel Airfield. This is where the Russians kicked things off with those helicopter assaults. The Ukrainians managed to claw it back by the end of the day, but then the Russians moved back in and took it again the next morning.
2. Vorzel. Combat was happening here today. Pretty sure the Russians have seized control of this area now.
3. That spot from yesterday where a tank crushed a car—it was a Russian saboteur turned into a Ukrainian soldier. His crew actually hijacked the tank before they were neutralized.
4. The bridge the Ukrainians blew up yesterday to stop the Russians from crossing the Dnieper.
5. Where the Russian night raid ended today. Left behind several destroyed tanks and vehicles, plus heavy Russian casualties.
6. Where the old man is digging his trench.
7. Just a bit south, you've got Vasilyevsky Airfield and the nearby town. The Russians tried an airborne assault to take control, but they got stopped and wiped out. The local mayor confirmed it.

Thanks, Sunny👍

Is that point number 5 pretty close to the city center? 🕺
