Sandra Murphy33 said:Could you have mentioned this was Lesson 45? 😵

It’s an interesting line, and one I actually quite like (it serves as proof that ACIM leans more toward New Age philosophy rather than being a strictly "Abrahamic religious" text):

"God's will for me is perfect happiness.
This is the truth, because there is no sin"

(Lesson 101)
👍

Well, now... I suppose I might have to disagree with the idea that ACIM is purely New Age or that it isn't Abrahamic in nature. While it certainly might sound that way at first glance—or even a second glance, for that matter—if you were to read The Bible in parallel with ACIM (since the New Testament essentially mirrors ACIM), alongside the Catechism of the Catholic Church, I don't really see any major contradictions. This is especially true if one considers that the original Greek meaning of what is translated as "sin" actually refers to "missing the mark."

What I think might need adjusting, perhaps, is those sections where it says, "my sin..." It really ought to be phrased as "my failure to hit the target, my failure to hit the target, my massive failure to hit the target." If you were to replace the word "sin" everywhere with "missing the mark"—which is what the original texts intended—then I feel everything would align perfectly. 🙂

I’m no expert on Eastern philosophy or its practices, so I’ll leave that to the specialists. I can only offer my own humble take from a religious perspective. Don't just take my word for it—take everything with a grain of salt and do your own digging. This is just my personal view, shaped by years of searching for God and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

There’s a massive distinction between Kundalini and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God—one part of the Holy Trinity—whereas Kundalini is just a creation of His, which makes it demonic. I’m going to step away from the main thread for a second to clear this up, then I'll be right back.

The Bible kicks off with: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth." We all know what the Earth is—it's the planet we’re standing on—but I think it also implies the entire material world and the tangible universe. As for the "heavens," I don't think it means the literal sky we look up at. It refers to the non-material, spiritual realm, something we can only catch glimpses of through our own spiritual essence. You mentioned yourself that the material world makes up only about 5% of everything, while 95% remains unexplored and unknown. To me, that remaining 95% is exactly what the "heavens" are—that entire spiritual dimension hidden from our sight. Within that realm exist many mythological beings mentioned in the Bible; I won't list them all, but I'll just point out the ones most relevant to us: angels and demons.

Heaven isn't some distant place "up there." It’s woven right into this material world, threading through everything we see. We’re stuck in the physical realm, but heavenly beings? They exist in both worlds at once. They actually need our physical bodies because their own are purely spiritual; they need that anchor to experience this reality the way we do. The silver lining is that they can't just force their way into us whenever they feel like it—they can only enter if we invite them in. And once they're inside, they feel everything we feel, except for one thing: our thoughts. Our inner monologue remains strictly between us and God. I only stumbled onto this recently, and honestly, if I'd known this sooner, my spiritual growth would have been lightyears ahead.

Angels and demons can only get inside us if we act—either for good or for evil. They’re just there to assist. Angels back us up when we’re doing something right, and demons provide that same support when we go down a dark path.

Angels are pure beings—zero evil in them. They’re always around to lend a hand. Take those moments when you’re working on something you truly love, but you've hit a wall and you're just completely drained. Suddenly, you get this surge of clarity and energy that pushes you to keep going. Or look at a marathon runner hitting the wall, where their body is basically screaming to quit. If they have enough grit and belief in themselves, they can hit that second wind where the pain just vanishes and they find this superhuman strength they didn't know they had. That's the angels giving you that extra push when you're deep in the trenches, provided you actually care about what you're doing and believe in it.

Then there are the demons—entities that are nothing but concentrated evil. There isn’t a shred of good in them. Their whole purpose is to nudge us toward malice if we decide to go down that road ourselves. It all starts with a thought. You entertain a dark idea, and suddenly, a demon shows up to feed you even worse suggestions to escalate the damage. But at that stage, they haven't been invited in yet. They don't have access to our bodies until we turn those thoughts into actions. Once we act on bad intentions, we open the door. Most "bad deeds" fall under the umbrella of sin—basically anything God has forbidden in the Bible, whether it's an offense against God, ourselves, or someone else. Here’s the catch: unlike angels, once a demon gets inside, they aren't exactly easy to kick out. They might leave on their own if we stop sinning and change our ways. If they keep pushing us to do wrong and we stay stubborn enough to refuse, they might eventually lose patience and walk away when nothing works. But let’s be honest, that’s a long, grueling road. The easier, better way is to turn to God and let Him cast the demon out. That requires incredibly strong faith, though. There are specific methods for this, but I won't get into the weeds right now.

Here’s an example. Say someone tries heroin for the first time. They’re doing something wrong to themselves, which essentially opens the door to a demon that embodies that specific evil. Eventually, they try to quit. They hit withdrawal. You can manage the physical addiction relatively quickly, but the spiritual side is a different beast. The demon won't let go; it just terrorizes you in every way possible to keep you hooked. If a person actually manages to endure that torture and resist the attacks, once the demon runs out of tricks, it eventually leaves because there’s nothing left to exploit. That’s how recovery happens.

I'll say it again: demons feed us thoughts that we mistake for our own. They aren't ours. You can spot a demonic thought because its goal is almost always to pull you away from God and lead you toward sin. The silver lining? A demon can't read your mind. You can pray silently within yourself and ask the Holy Spirit for help.

The Holy Spirit also communicates through thoughts. You can tell those apart from your own or from demonic ones by their intent—they always aim to bring you closer to God and steer you away from sin. This can come through thoughts, intuition, sudden ideas, desires, or even a song that pops into your head out of nowhere. If you stop to think about it and realize these impulses are positive and draw you nearer to God, they’re likely coming from the Holy Spirit.

In my view, the Holy Spirit communicates exclusively through thought. We can send Him our desires and prayers, asking for anything we need just as we would talk to God directly. Whether it’s verbal or mental doesn't matter; He is God.

Back to the main point. Kundalini is a demon, plain and simple. One of the worst ones, too. I don't know everything about "Kundalini energy," but I'm fairly certain about what this demon actually is. When someone tries to practice Kundalini, they are essentially signaling a desire to control things—like subconscious bodily functions—that should only be under God's control. It's a message that says they want to become God themselves. That opens the door to a false god demon that will do absolutely anything to give you what you want—superhuman abilities, making you believe you are divine.

I think this is the ultimate sin—arguably much heavier than adultery or murder—which explains why Kundalini is so seductive and powerful. The Bible strictly forbids it right at the beginning with two of God's commandments:

1. I am the Lord your God; do not have other gods besides me!
2. Do not make for yourself an idol or any likeness of anything in heaven above, on the earth below, or in the waters below. Do not bow down to them or worship them.

Atheists probably won't have the hardest time here. At least they aren't worshipping false gods. It’ll be harder on people like Catholics who venerate the Virgin Mary or saints—they aren't God. But the absolute worst off will be those who actually believe they are God.

It isn't all doom and gloom, though. Don't worry. I think you're on the right track. I'll write another post soon to explain further.

He’s managing to hold his own against them quite effectively.
Let's wish him luck. And may he rest in peace. 😁

It's a pure Coincidence that I just happened to stumble upon this quote by Gurdjieff:

"Kundalini is the force injected into a human being to keep them anchored in the present
state. If people could actually grasp their true situation and comprehend
the full extent of its horror, they wouldn't be able to stay where they are, not
even for a second. They would start searching for a way out and find it quickly, BECAUSE
AN EXIT EXISTS, but people fail to see it for one simple reason—they are under hypnosis.
Kundalini is the force that maintains them in this hypnotic state.
To be 'awakened' means to be 'liberated from hypnosis."

To follow up on my previous post and wrap up my thoughts on this topic:

Demons have been around for thousands upon thousands of years; they’re much wiser than we are. They want to stay under the radar. All they need is to slip a single sinful thought into your head at just the right moment to complete their mission and nudge you toward sin. Like any other demon, Kundalini will do whatever it takes to make that sin look incredibly attractive and harmless at first glance. Once we stumble, it enters our body and moves to the next phase: dragging us even deeper into that sin. It always offers something tempting and gives us a little reward so we don't quit. But that reward is fleeting, and we immediately find ourselves craving more. That’s how we enter the next loop—an even bigger sin. The more we progress and try to become "gods," the further we drift from God, committing even greater sins in His eyes. This kind of spiritual advancement without God is nothing more than falling into a deeper pit.

A demon is a terrifying entity. It will never give us true satisfaction or fulfillment; it just dangles a carrot on a stick to keep us running, thinking we're finally getting what we want. A demon will NEVER provide that satisfaction; it just pulls us deeper into the abyss until it takes our soul entirely. And a soul is far too precious. It’s better to surrender this earthly life to God right now for an eternal soul than to spend a lifetime indulging in comfort, pleasure, and sin only to hand Satan your eternal soul. I haven't studied Kundalini extensively, but from what I gather, they say it's impossible to return to your original state once it happens. That just confirms my theory: once you let a demon in, it will do everything in its power to stay there and won't let you change your mind easily. Still, as I mentioned before, nothing is impossible with an all-powerful God.

I think you're incredibly lucky that you accepted the Holy Spirit. If you hadn't, you would have fallen into a demonic cycle that a person simply cannot escape without God, especially when dealing with a demon this powerful. I've heard stories about some yogis achieving superhuman abilities, like speed-reading entire books or even telekinesis. That is a very advanced relationship with demons, and a heavy sin. The stronger the demon, the more it can terrorize you if you change your mind, subjecting you to horrific physical and mental torture until you have no choice but to keep doing what it wants.

That said, there are positive things here. Even though this all sounds pretty dark, I think you should keep doing what you're doing. You're on the right path, and here’s why. God wants to build an intimate relationship with us. He wants us to surrender to Him, to trust Him, and to put Him first in our lives—before our spouses, our children, our parents, our finances, and even before our own lives.

God wants us to surrender to Him completely:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

The more we surrender to Him and deepen our relationship with Him, the greater our reward will be, both in this life and the next. I think your focus on this spiritual progress is why you've come so far, and a great reward awaits you. I believe you'll fare much better than many hypocritical believers who go to church every day and pray for hours, merely repeating prayers like a mantra without ever truly surrendering to God. On top of that, they are often deceived by Satan, committing sin through questionable religious rituals and pagan customs without even realizing it.

He isn't some angry old man in the sky; He is our Father. Imagine the best father who ever lived. He loves all His children equally and only wants the best for them. He knows exactly what they need, fulfills their desires, and rewards them. A good father will also discipline his children if they do wrong, but not to terrorize them—rather to show them they made a mistake, so they learn the lesson and don't repeat it. Furthermore, I believe God's mercy is always greater than His punishment. Punishment is only momentary so we realize our error; as soon as we do, He forgives us and provides mercy, love, and support. He does this infinitely, over and over again. It's more than our limited minds can even comprehend.

"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."

God wants us to praise Him, love Him, surrender to Him, and trust Him. We can—and should—get to know Him through our spirituality as much as possible. That kind of understanding has no ceiling; there’s always more room to grow. That’s exactly what He wants, and it brings Him joy. Once you actually feel God's overwhelming love in your life, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Nothing else even comes close.

Compared to the magnitude of God, we humans are practically nothing, especially those who turn their backs on Him:
"Truly, the people of low birth are empty, and the successful are a lie: if you put them together on a scale, they are lighter than nothingness."

No matter how many times we turn away or how sinful we get, He will NEVER turn His back on us. He’s always waiting right there, sending signals through the Holy Spirit to guide us back.
"God hates sin, but loves the sinner"

In the past, people mostly had to reach God through the Father in heaven. But He loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus (who is also God himself), to give us another way to draw near and actually visualize Him as a man rather than some infinite, multi-dimensional entity our minds can't grasp. On top of that, He gave us the option to have all our sins instantly forgiven if we believe and ask. As if that wasn't enough, He gave us the ability to connect through the Holy Spirit by seeking God within ourselves. We have three distinct ways to find Him. What more are we expecting? For Him to just do everything for us? And yet, despite all this, plenty of people still turn their backs on Him, which breaks His heart.

As far as I know, Buddha was a man who achieved the greatest recorded spiritual enlightenment ever. No one has surpassed him in that regard. My take? Buddha either has a massive reward coming his way or a massive punishment. If he put himself at the center of the universe and thought he was the most important thing, he’s in for a heavy penalty. If, however, he knew he was just a small part of something much larger—something he tried desperately to reach but could never quite fully touch—then a huge reward awaits him for pushing himself that far in his relationship with God. Only he and God know for sure, though maybe only God knows, since He sees the secrets of our hearts and minds better than we do.

It's vital that we always view God as something unimaginably greater than ourselves, while seeing ourselves as something tiny and insignificant, yet deeply significant to Him—because we are His children and He is our only true Father. He is always there for us, helping us move closer to Him through the Holy Spirit.

With that mindset, I think even powerful demons like Kundalini can be harnessed for spiritual progress and connecting with God, even though their original purpose is to pull us away from Him. It is crucial to remember that God/the Holy Spirit is the Creator of all things, and a demon is merely His creation. With that realization, I believe we can use demonic energy under the guidance of the Holy Spirit without fear; a creation cannot harm its Creator, nor can it harm us if we always put God first and "take refuge in the shadow of His wings."

If you immediately reject a claim without thinking critically, at least ask yourself where that thought came from. There's a chance that thought isn't yours, but is demonic. That's their primary tactic: they don't want to be discovered, so they manipulate us instead. Even the Bible mentions how people are deceived:

Do you have eyes but fail to see? Do you have ears but fail to hear? (Mark 8:18)

Maybe it's actually better to live in comfortable ignorance than to face the bitter truth. There are plenty of testimonies that line up and endless stuff to research online, so if you want to dig deeper, go for it; if not, keep living the way you have been.

Don't take anyone's word for it—not even mine. Test everything and research it yourself. Let the Holy Spirit lead you, and He will provide the answers you're looking for.

Being a believer has never been harder than it is right now. There are so many obstacles standing between us and God. We need to focus, clear them out one by one, and work on building a better relationship with Him to ensure we have a bright future ahead.

Gurdjieff is probably onto something here.
If we didn't have all these layers—physical, astral, mental, causal, and even the atmic body (look, I get it, these concepts are exhausting)
,
this whole "nightmare scenario" wouldn't even be possible. We’d all just be wide awake and living in paradise.
:blame kundalini:
The only thing I can't figure out is whether this is the influence of the Holy Spirit🤔 or just
Kundalini.

You just never know...

A few years back, the Search and Rescue teams pulled a goat out of a deep limestone sinkhole out in the Midwest.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/rescue-operations-sinkhole-midwest

What the article doesn't mention is that toward the end of the operation, a local priest showed up, peered into the pit, and breathed a sigh of relief—because the goat was white and not, you know, black... Naturally, he decided to "just in case" disinfect the whole thing with Holy Water...

And he gave the nearby rescuers a real lecture, warning them that from now on, they shouldn't undertake these kinds of rescues without a Catholic expert present—because it's far too dangerous, since a black goat coming out of a hole could easily be anything from a trick of the light to a Pope... or personally, Satan straight from the burning depths...

If we didn't have all these layers—physical, astral, mental, causal, and even the atmic body (look, I get it, these concepts are exhausting)
,
this whole "nightmare scenario" wouldn't even be possible. We’d all just be wide awake and living in paradise.

The only thing I can't figure out is whether this is the influence of the Holy Spirit🤔 or just
Kundalini.
Exorcising demons via the internet

Everything you ever wanted to know about demons but were too afraid to ask your parents—how they operate, how to spot them, how to kick them out, and how to stay protected.

It might have been better for you to skip the Theosophists entirely, much like Steiner did....
(Though, to be fair, he was involved with them before they split ways. If my memory serves, the rift happened because he wouldn't go along with their attempts to predict the next incarnation of certain figures...)

Steiner was probably a bit psychotic, though I suppose he was a genius in his own way when it came to crafting one-dimensional texts.
His biggest claim—that everything in the Gospels actually happened—is something else.
Even the Pope wouldn't try to pull that one off.

...Maitreya🙂

Albert Karl Theodor Reuss brought Steiner into OTO; otherwise, Steiner was closely tied to the Dresden Order of Leopold Engel, which served as his primary foundation.

When you look at the irreconcilable duality found in Abrahamic traditions—that eternal tug-of-war between Light and Darkness—one might argue that Steiner transitioned from something far too controlling and self-contained, something we could call Satanic, over toward the somewhat brighter, so-called God's side of the spectrum? 😬

(Though, it’s worth remembering that we are dealing strictly with mental constructs here, which lack any grounding in actual, rigorous academic disciplines...)
