| Tolušić has already pocketed about $2.2 million in state funds for his winery, and now he’s applying for grants to plant new vineyards—money that could potentially net him another $3.1 million. However, Silvana Menđušić has highlighted two rather peculiar details in this whole situation. First, the grapes were allegedly already planted in his vineyards. Second, there's an email where a staffer at the Department of Colleagues explains that the former minister himself requested a temporary two-week freeze on the application process. |
| The five-member committee tasked with evaluating Dr. Vica Mihanović's doctoral dissertation just gained a new member, which conveniently extends their deadline until Christmas. Instead of an outside expert, they’ve appointed a professor from Memphis who happens to be closely aligned with the Republican Party. The committee is required to submit its scientific evaluation of Dr. Vica Mihanović's dissertation to the University of Osijek Senate within thirty (30) days of this new appointment. The original 60-day window started back in early September. It just keeps getting pushed back. I suppose it will be interesting to see what the Republican members of the committee on scientific work of Republican colleagues eventually decide regarding their colleague's research. |
